PANJIM: The DySP, Mr Deu Banaulikar, (SDPO) informed that the police are on the look out for one more gang member of Michael Fernandes, who is presently at large. He said two members, Pravin Patil and Karbotkar were arrested in Kankavli in Maharashtra, while the other two, Michael and Deepak Kerkar were arrested in the jungle of Falah at Betul. The gang consisted of five members.
Meanwhile, Michael and Deepak have been remanded to 9-day police custody. He also informed that the gang had stolen three motorcycles and had dumped them after their purpose was fulfilled. He also said that the pistol was brought from Indore in Madhya Pradesh and was used to loot people and was not used to kill anyone. During the last two days, the two arrested were taken to various sites where they had committed crimes.
