PACHECO: HIGH COMMAND DOES NOT UNDERSTAND LOCAL GOANS DIFFICULTIES

MARGAO: Giving clear indications that he is distancing away from the NCP, Benaulim MLA has said the high command from Delhi or Maharashtra do not understand the problems and difficulties of the local people.  Saying that he does not care what NCP thinks on the medium of instruction row, Pacheco told newsmen that he does not believe in parties that rule the state from Delhi.
When asked whether he has severed his ties with the NCP, Pacheco shot back that he is an elected member of the NCP, but hastened to add that he would certainly turn the tables, but the time has not yet come till date. Refusing to speak out his mind on moves to register a regional political party fearing his disqualification, Pacheco said “you know Speaker Pratapsing Rane. He would keep all other petitions behind and take up the disqualification petition if filed against me”.
“I don’t believe in parties. I feel this is my right to fight for English as the medium of instruction. I don’t care what the NCP thinks on the issue”, he said, while replying to a query whether his NCP is in support of English as the medium of instruction.
“I am a Goan and we understand better the problems and difficulties faced by the people. High command from Maharashtra and Delhi does not understand our difficulties. Let us settle our problems here instead of by the high commands from Delhi”, he said.
Incidentally, Pacheco made it clear that he would not bend on his stand on the medium of instruction row in the event his NCP takes a contrary stand on the issue.

  1. I agree with Mickky that we all should not beleive in the parties that rule the state from Delhi. The Goan politicians are only remote control toys in the hands of Delhi babus. The Delhi babus loot India and allows Goan politicians to plunder Goa. The so called high command is my arse.

  2. @D.Justin, do you want us to believe a loose character man? This macodd Pachecho is not trying to get even because he is kicked out of ministry or had to resign from it after getting tainted. Do not praise him he too is just like the other monkeys in the assembly zoo. In fact this macodd (monkey) is worse than the others. He is a pimp himself.

Compared to Chorchill, Babush and Cownath, Mickky's crimes are a drop in the ocean, yes he is not a saint he is more of the devils apprentice. But he talks the talk better than the others.

  4. We have to appreciate the efforts of Mickey regarding the English medium for whatsover reason. He was the only MLA who openl came out in support of English while others were running behind the bushes. Though he was criticised at the Margao rally, he stood ground and waited till the end of the rally. FORCE seems to have lost steam from their agitation and what language the govt will understand is only the same as Khariwaddo, Vasco. Mickey has to make sure he lives upto the 8 day deadline as FORCE has shyed away from future deadlines. The parents only hope now seems to MIckey Pacheco and I fully support the cause. In this matter I am not bothered about the character of Mickey but the issue is of greater importance to us to see that it is resolved.
DIGUBAB BEWARE YOU CANNOT ALWAYS PRETEND ALL IS WELL WHEN THE WHOLE OF GOA IS BURNING BECAUSE OF THE MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION. YOUR SOUL WILL ROT IN HELL AND EVEN THE DEVIL WILL BANISH YOU TO ETERNAL DAMNATION FOR YOUR CRIMES ON THE PEOPLE OF GOA.

  5. How will the Babus Sitting on the Royal throne up there know the ground situation here in Goa When OUR Very Babus here in Goa feed them with misleading, distorted information? All these Babus need to be distanced and a fresh set brought in. May be this may help changing the balance.

  6. Opportunist Makod tries to grab the weak points and make a mountain of it. We can do it without politicians! This makod himself is a sinister and was a prtty to all the evils, yesterday and today.

No matter what character a person lives in his personal life. But as for me if anyone who is ready to sacrifice for the BENEFIT of GOA and GOANS is welcomed. FORCE has no power and has lost the ground, and if it cannot then at least someone is taking initiative to move the movement to core level and that is what necessary at this time. I am not saying Micky integrity in him, if he is siding the people till the demand is met with the deadline that is most welcomed. At any given time we must put an end to fanatic Marathi lobby who's sole goal is to Marathise whole of Goa.

  8. We don't need any politicians to hype the issue and gain maileage from it and then dump the issue and the people. This has happened long enough and will keep happening. We have to distance all the political riff raff from our issues and sort them out ourselves. All the organisersof FORCE should be confronted and future plan to be set. We should not let this die down or else this will be the sad end. I promise if FORCE does not continue with the fight then all those who spoke for the last meeting will pay as it seems like they have taken money and are now quiet. Lesson to be learnt will be not to come out and make noise if you are only trying to make money out of the agenda.

Let's make our best effort to first get Special Status to Goa by supporting and electing regional party who have interest in Goa. These Delhi based Indian parties have Ghanti culture brought to Goa forcefully by bas..rd Nehru ( May he rot in Hell) and that is the reason these two Ghanti parties does not understand Goa and it's culture and hence not fit to run Goa in whole.
INDEPENDENCE IS THE ONLY SOLUTION TO GET OUT OF THIS MESS CREATED BY TRAITOR PARTY MGP followed by crooks Congress and BJP.

  11. @ Shyam Sawant, I may agree with few politicians on certain things, but I do not have any respect for any Goan poilitcian. There are all corrupt and a total disaster to Goa's economy, I only need them to fight amongst themselves like dogs for the bones and finish one another. You can refer my previous comments and have a look if Ihave any soft corner for any politicians, please dont get me wrong.

  12. Dalia...we need evil persons to kill evil in our society...lets take this opportunity and give support to Mickey Mouse to finish many of criminals who are presently together like a mafia group. You might have seen how coward Hubert is slowing running away from the challenge of saving Goa even without a simple fight against smuggler daughter of varca.NG is not ready to indulge in political fight...so lets give a chance for Mickey to clean our assembly to some extent if he intend to established Goa Political party....just writting without any action will not help Goa & Goenkar from saving it from criminals....I can atlest say Mickey is not so corrupt as rest of Ali babas from Goa Assembly....but pls keep away Annadi Viegas and Dadarao Gracias away(both are first class crooks of salcete)

Mr Pacheco seems to be the only MLA to raise his voice in favour of English. We should appreciate his efforts and if he can be of any assistance, then we should seek his help. Let us not search for ulterior motives.

I agree with him, that the High Commands from distant Delhi do not understand the problems of tiny Goa. Goa, with two LS MPs and a lone RS MP, is not important for them. But it is up to those three representatives as well as the ruling party legislators of the State to make the problems known to the High Command. Have all of them failed us, all along these years?

Anyway, the "problem" of medium of instruction has to be settled at the local level, not by any High Command. And that is what Mr Pacheco wants, when he says: "Let us settle our problems here, instead of by the High Commands from Delhi".

This is all Mickkys hype.He is once again playing with the sentiments of the People.
He is currently in a Political limbo. He is not needed by Congress and the NCP are probably fed-up of him
Having "not", got his wish to be re-instated in the Cabinet, as Tourism Minister, he is now coming out with some crazy outbursts.
W that surprises me is,that, I have not heard much from the Goan Press about his frequent trips to New Delhi or The U.S.A.?Something fishy here.!
At the recent FORCE meeting Mickky was belittled and castigated.A day or 2 later he was castigated by Maria Moraes.
Quite recently, Churchill and Big Lips Valanka were seen with the Minister for Tourism at Colva (Mickkys Constituency). No doubt Mickky must have been riled by this visit.
As a few commentators here state: if Mickky "delivers the goods" (MOI) or produces results, we will give him due credit.
The DIng-Dong going on between Mickky & Churchill too, is of great interest. It will be nice to see Mickky "spill the beans" on Churchill.
Niz Goenkars commenting here will not be waiting in anticipation, as we all well know that Churchill is the biggest theiv, looter and crook of Goa.
The only Goans that fail to pay any heed to this thief of Goa is a few, that exist in Dubai, Oman (GCO)(Goan Christian Organisation) and some other Gulf states. These Goans in the Gulf that invite Churchill must also be Churchills theiving bedfellows. Shame on them.
I have no doubt that these few corrupted Goans in Dubai and Oman that revere and kiss Churchills arse, will one day have to pay their dues, to Goa and Goans. The are accessories to te crimes committed by the Likes of Churchill & Babush.
In conclusion...there is not much news on the "Dhiram Donkey" or "MONEY MULE", Monseratte or Rohit!!!??.

In Goa no one can be heard louder than the politicans be it corrupt or not, If Mickky can turn the tables so be it. We need to keep an eye ans see he puts into acton what he preaches.

  16. Mario, it is easy to call others cowards but atleast Hubert tried. We don't know if he is threatened or if he is getting any support from the locals as you very well know this is Benaulim and Benaulimcars are known for their greed and being crumb eaters. You think you can do better we will support you.

  17. The smart thing to do here is let Micky do the talking and bring down all the chors. Then let the General Public decide on Micky's future. If he is a changed man then we can always vote him again if not we can fry him with the others.

  19. FORCE is no more a force to reckon with. They seem to be only buying time for the next academic year to start. We very well know time is not on our side and looks like the politicians and also FORCE teeth have fallen down and cannot afford to replace their dentures. Something is forbidding them to pursue the goals. I think they are the victims of the same virus that Dr. Hubert is suffering. We were let down by the GBA when the time was opportune to dethrone these 40 chors and now mysteriously FORCE is undergoing self destruction. Our politicians looks like are only complicating the matter. Our last hope seems to be Mickey and his ultimatum. If he prefers to forget his ultimatum, then only the private schools can save our children from Konkani medium. Let see what happens.

Humans do change can he? there is an old saying in Konkani "No matter how much you clean a pig it will always return in the Mucky Waters". The pig of Varca MLA of Navelim is one such Pig.

The only decision our politicians can make is how to make money immorally. They are the garbage eaters of the central Indian Government.
