CORRUPT GOVT, POLICE BRUTALITY: RECIPE FOR DISASTER FROM CAVREM

CAVREM: Today the desperate villagers of Cavrem in Quepem taluka blocked the road once again. They have lost all their crops due to mining pollution. Their complaints to all authorities fell on deaf ears. Only one mine was closed.
The trucks are overloaded by using side planks in gross violation of the High Court orders. The RTO does random checking. What they check only they know because as per mining department the trucks have to be registered with the department but none are registered.
The desperate villagers blocked the road running through their village after some truck drivers assaulted them earlier in the week. The women were dragged to the police van. One woman's saree was completely pulled off and she had to travel to the police station in her petticoat. Another woman's mangalsutra was snatched and many were bruised. Presently all are in Quepem police station.
Below are some photographs clicked while the police were dragging the villagers away into custody.

IS THIS WHAT THE GOA ASSEMBLY MEMBERS CONDONE AND SUPPORT AND ORDER THE POLICE TO DO???
WHY DO YOU TREAT GOA LIKE A POLICE LAWLESS STATE WORSE THAN ANY BANANA REPUBLIC IN THE WORLD !!!!
SHAME ON YOU CORRUPT MLA'S AND MINISTERS!!!!
MAY THE PAIN AND BLOOD OF THESE PEOPLE BE ON YOU DISGRACEFUL MLA's AND ON YOUR FAMILIES.
In GOD's NAME I CURSE YOU ON BEHALF OF THESE HELPLESS PEOPLE!!!

This clearly indicates the jungle rule of this bus..rd congress MLA's and their dog's police force prevail in Goa. These poor people's curse will be upon on these MLA's, Police force and their families. They will suffer throughout their life. Instead of supporting villagers these bus..rd tammed dog's of Miner's and Politician's are draging inocent people with no mercy.
I APPEAL GRA TO TAKE NOTE OF THIS HAPPENIGN AND LEND YOUR FULL SUPPORT AND EDUCATE THEM ON YOUR AGENDA, SO THAT IN COMING ELECTION THESE VILLAGERS WILL TEACH THEM LIFE LONG LESSON TO REMEMBER.

  2. This is the right time for the people of Goa to come on the street and confront the police and the politicians. Our police forces are worst than wild animals . These khaki clad animals can only subdue the poor and the vulnurable. These photos should be sent to high command in Delhi. Where is the racist opposition leader PANPOTTI ?. Where are the chor freedom fighters, do they fought for this freedom?. The people should come on the street and burn alive the police and all 40 CHOR politicians. What was good for Goa, rule under Salazar or mentally retarded Goa's government.

  3. What was the need for THREE busloads of ARMED police to fight against defenceless (unarmed) Goans? Is the givernment trying to force the prople to drink polluted water and breathe polluted air?
The men-in-uniform are said to have stripped a woman-in-saree! They have removed a sacred mangalsutra!
Someone once said that "the Portuguese denied civil liberties and any kind of freedom". In Cavrem we saw how the people were denied the freedom to protest against injustice. This happened fifty years after the Portuguese left the shores of Goa!
