PANJIM: A 20-year-old girl from Chimbel has complained that she was raped by her migrant boyfriend. The Old Goa police have registered a rape case against the boy.
In her complaint, the girl alleged that 25-year-old Shabbir had befriended her a few months ago. According to the victim, Shabbir, who works as a wedding decorator had raped her a month ago but she didn't complain as he had promised to marry her. "However, as he didn't keep his promise she lodged a complaint. We have registered a rape case against the boyfriend," police said.
