CCP COFFERS ARE EMPTY BUT MAYOR WANTS A NEW CAR by Adv. Aires Rodrigues, Ribandar

Inspite of the Corporation of City of Panaji coffers being empty the new Mayor Yatin Parekh has been racing for a new car. The Mayor’s current official vehicle being in good condition the purchase of a new vehicle is uncalled for.
Mr. Mayor, Panjim has other priorities. Your claim for a new vehicle can wait. When it’s time to buy the new vehicle for the Mayor it would be advisable to opt for a “Nano”. It would also be a small way to help ease the parking vows of an already over congested Panaji. And all the Goa Ministers and other VIP’s may also go the “Nano” way. That’s all at the most they deserve anyway.

  1. Why not import a Hummer, it will be easy to carry load of huge cash home on a daily basis? Ask Narendra Modi or Baba Ramdev and they will help you being a Gujrathi brother ruling Panjim. Monserrate can lend you one of his BMW or as advised by Adv. Aires, go for a brand new Nano.

  2. Even a bullock cart will do. He lives in Town and may as well walk. I wonder further he will ask for a misstress.

  3. Yes, you said it right, Mr Aires, we should give nanos to the Mayor of Panjim and to all the politicians. All our politicians are grown up but their mentality is like nanos so they definately deserves NANOS.
