2nd MEGA RALLY AT LOHIA MOIDAN – MARGAO ON 29TH APRIL 2011 by Vicente de Rego

GOA: The GRA [GOEMCHEA RAKHONDARANCHO AWAZ] announces it's 2nd. mega rally at the Lohia Maidan, Margao, for 29th April, 2011.  Incidentally, this rally was originally planned for the 8th. April, 2011, but had to be postponed for the 29th. April due to unforeseen circumstances.
It is hoped that this rally, like the first one on 15th. march, 2011, at Azad Maidan, Panjim, will be massively attended to send the right signals to the 'powers that be' that the people of GOA do not like what is happening to their beloved GOA and expect a definite change for the better.
A request goes to the Goans in diaspora to urge their beloved ones residing in Goa to attend this rally and to make their mark by way of depositing their suggestions in the suggestion boxes that will be provided for the day.
GRA wishes to inform one and all that more than one hundred suggestions (with contact numbers and/or e-mail addresses) have been received at the 15 March Azad Maidan rally, and we at GRA are in the process of personally contacting these persons for a wider feedback and to invite their participation in the activities of GRA. Needless to say that GRA is much wiser now, through the 'pulse feeling' of the citizens, than when it was cobbled together immediately before 15 March 2011.
For the young blooded youth of Goa here is a special message from GRA. This is your chance to make your voice heard and your presence felt. You are the future of this state". GRA would be pleased to attract the youth and to attend to their grievances as far as is possible.
Last but not the least, GRA assures GOA and GOANs that it will not let them down, ever.

Goans have been used to one night stand organisations coming on stage making their promises and disappearing. Many Goans mainly in rural areas have not heard or GRA, If It is to make a lasting mark in Goa, the message and its cause must be known in every corner of Goa. Goans do need a powerful organisation to take on the criminal and corrupt politicians, including matters that effect Goan life. Goan daily papers are not a neutral tool for media coverage, Goan educated youth are.

  2. Excuse me! Who is this GRA? Do you think we Goans are all cattle that we can be herded at Lohia Maidan and Azad Maidan whenever they feel for proclaiming supposedly the views of the people. Only organisation which delivered was KPA. Now FORCE is in limbo and repeatedly amputated and fooling the people. Who the hell is GRA now that you are asking Goans to come at Lohia Maidan? What is your agenda open and hidden?

  3. It is indeed good news to hear that GRA is awake and in full form. It might have taken sometime to re-organise itself but never the less will be delivered. I pray that every Goan who like to see a change should stand up and support GRA and attend the metting enmasse. Wishing GRA all the best and a humble request to every reader to cascade the message far and wide to make Goa a safer and better place, to chase the 40 thieves away from the treasury of Goa that is looted in daylight.

  4. I agree with you Anand ..we Goans are now become time servers and biggots as you can see they are not United and SELFISH and there is no LOYALTY for the land..When these virtures are not there they are like bull gropping at the Margao Holy spirit Junction.

I can see so many Goa groups on internet and so many NGO and so many groups at village level and EVERY ISSUE ONE GROUP AND NOW MOI GROUP - CALLED FORCE....It is good that we together and protest BUT WHY ARE WE AS GOANS ARE NOT UNITED first for RP2011 came GBA and then goans beleagued it...and now come a another OUTFIT called GRA...ATLEAST THIS TIME I HOPE GOANS STICK TO ONE OUT FIT AND ORGANISE AS ONE FORCE...

THIS THE VERY REASON 40 THEIVES ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF GOAN DISUNITY /BIGGOTRY/HIPROCACY for a RIDE..THEY VERY WELL KNOW ITS VERY Easy to polarize GOANS ON ISSUES AND TAKE ADVANTAGE... Politicians use the same old trick to take mileage out of issues IF there are no issues then create some issues and mobilze voters in their favor to get lected and rule and amass wealth.

Atleast this time I urge all Goans to come under GOEMCHO RAKHONDARACO AWAZ ..although they are working very hard to make stand and count each one of us for LOYALTY AND SUPPORT for SPECIAL STATUS TO GOA AND CHASE THE 40THEIVES OUT FROM CASINO DE GOA FRM HILLTOP PROVORIM......

Your critisisms are most welcomed but dont condem and do slander indulge into biggotry THOSE ARE BIG HURDLES OF GOAN SOCIETY TODAY. THAT IS WHY THEY CANT MOVE FORWARD WITH ANY ISSUES AND CANT GAIN CONSENSUS ON ANY ISSUES FOR ULTIMATE RESOLUTION.. AND These are the very reasons for our Down fall and politicians to rule us then serve us .

Please support GRA for third front clean educated Goan candidated and prepare for the next election and DONT VOTE CONGRESS OR BJP.

  5. Great Dalia!. I fully support GRA and their views. I was part of the 15th March Rally at Azad Maidan in Panjim and I am going again to be part of the Rally at Lohia Maidan at Margao. We are tired of the present Congress Government, their corrupt practices, their looting of Goa and Goans, their selling of Goa to outsiders for a super price. Other Political Parties are not less either. There is no trust on any present parties be it National or regional. We have to look for a better change.
