KUWAIT: The Goan Welfare Society – Kuwait, organized the Awards presentation ceremony, on the 25th of March, 2011, at Village Inn, Kuwait city, to felicitate and honour, the two top ranking students from Kuwait, who presented their credentials, in response to the announcements published in the news media, for the prestigious GWS Awards. The Awards include, Certificates of Merit and Cash Packets. The GWS Awards, have been generously offered by, Mr & Mrs Sam Alphonso, Patron Members of the Goan Welfare Society.
The Awards were presented to Master Clive Leon Fernandes, a student of Indian English Academy School , Salmiya and Master Dwane John Almeida, a student of Jabriya Indian School , Jabriya., both securing 94 percent marks, at the SSC Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education – new Delhi - India .
These associations in the Gulf are just a show off. The very members shown above like Wilson Almeida, Gaspar Almeida, Cajetan are well known to me. Only Gaspar is a meek person among them and not a show off. Whatever Wilson does is for a show. Any charity done by him he requests the concerned people to write a letter of thanks to them. This clearly proves that these guys are just for a show.
