CRIMES OF SERIOUS NATURE BY POLITICIANS' HENCHMEN by Silvester Gomes, Portais Panjim

It is reliably learnt that some politicians mainly ministers and their personal staff use their political clout to tap the phones of those people who speak or write against them in newspaper columns.  No wonder the mobile telephone companies easily get permissions to erect towers in villages without proper approvals thereby jeopardizing the lives of the common man.
But is it not a criminal act which the Courts should take notice of and direct the CBI enquiry to investigate and put behind bars all the politicians involved. That CBI has become a puppet in the hands of our politicians in India is a different matter altogether but atleast an investigation by them will act as a detriment or put a temporary stop to this criminal activity of our politicians and provide relief to the aggrieved common man.

These henchmen of the politicians end up begging on the streets in the end and no one even gives them water to dring. We have seen lot of these henchmen who are roaming the streets of Goa in their old age. And rightfully they deserve this as they help the looters and thieves of Goa to become rich and themselves end up as beggars.

  2. It is these henchmen deserve more punishment than the politicians themselves. These fellows go out obeying every order of the politicians and in the end when they are of no use the politicians turn them away from their doors on in other words they are just kicked away and discarded like useless slippers.

Henchman and crumb eaters alike should be punished, but who will take the case? Courts too are run by politicians, innocent and outspoken judges are transferred or suspended. The CBI are no better they are made up of the same material as the corrupt ministers and can be molded to suit politicians causes.

Thieves always doubt others our parents used to say "thieves doubt the moon" , that is exactly what our criminal politicians are. Tapping phones require a court order and a good cause , what do our illiterate ministers understand about the Law. The law in Goa can be bought very cheaply in fact it is a bargaining chip as the takers are many.
Henchmen can be hired cheaply (due to unemployment) with no fault of their own, in Goa jobs are sold to the highest bidders.Ghantis are higher positions in government jobs in return they carry out favors for the politicians who put them there. They are the ones that should be inside the walls of Jail.
