The candlelight march at Azad Maidan was a campaign against corruption which is spreading like wildfire across our country. Corruption has been a major issue in India for ages and it's high time we deal with it sternly.
There has to be a full stop to corruption and the people who indulge in it need to be punished severely. The tree of corruption has its roots spread all over our political and judicial systems and we need to uproot it in a bid to give ourselves and our future generations a clean environment to live and breathe in.
The enactment of the Lokpal Bill is the best thing that could have happened at this moment, thanks to Anna Hazare's fast-unto-death campaign. The ministers that we elect will now think twice before indulging in or even encouraging corruption.
The ministers will now have to account for all the money that they make and this will definitely help curb corruption if not erase it completely from the system. Hats off to Anna Hazare and his campaign.
