MARGAO: Asserting that he would not tolerate anyone hurting the sentiments of Benualim villagers, former Tourism Minister, Mickky Pacheco on Sunday offered his full help and assistance to the people of the village. Speaking to tourist taxi drivers and owners after inaugurating the office of the Tourist Taxi Association of Benaulim on Sunday morning, Pacheco said he would always support the people of Benaulim and will not forget the love and affection shown to him since 2002.
“I may be here or somewhere else, but I will always support you in whatever way I can to the village”, he said.
Saying that he had never said no to the people of Benaulim, Pacheco said “take from me whatever you want. There is no limit or compromise for you to ask. I am always at your disposal”.
Saying he cannot forget the Benaulim people for thrice electing him from the constituency, Pacheco appealed to the people to remain united and all things will fall in place. “For the sake of the Benaulim villagers, I am ready to help you anytime and in whatever way I can”, he added.
The Benaulim MLA made his presence felt at the office of the Tourist Taxi Association of Benaulim this morning in the presence of local Panch members.
Association President John M D’Silva told newsmen that the MLA told them to open the office for redressal of their grievances and hardships. The Association has around 30 members and the office will cater to the needs of the members.
This sure is a Gimmick for re-elections he does have a very good track record of his criminal behavior, but he us miles away from Churchill. The residents of Benaulim will be foolish if they elect the wrong person again.

ReplyDeleteIt is a pity that we Goans are falling prey to these uneducated MLA/Minister .Are these two politicians competent enough to decide on the MOI? They should be dumped at Sonssdo .The newspapers are also giving them undue importance,they should be ignored.There are so many educated and honest people involved in this movement and we dont require the help of these ignorent pimps and blackmailers.
ReplyDeleteMicky Pacheco is only present MLA of Benaulim, whereas he will be sitting for Nuvem constituency in the next elections, as he has told several times earlier. However, he might be having other reasons to say he will always be there for Benaulimcars and always at their disposal. And in fact his support and help might be of great advantage to Benaulimcars in the coming elections to kill the dynastic disease.
