NON RESIDENT GOANS SENDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO GRA - Courtesy Target Goa

[ Floriano Lobo ] GRA team is just back from an extensive and exhausting trip to Keri - Tiracol ...listening to the woes of the Keri-Tiracol people.  The 8 Crore bund that has been constructed has been walked on by the GRA team consisting of Adv. Yatish Naik, Seasoned Adv. and a reformer Antonio Lobo; Parakash Bandodkar of PCF; self and many others from Keri leading the way.
What we have seen is total destruction with thousands of truck loads of SAND being piled up, the bund itself washed away; golden sanded islands disappearing with sand extracting boats (employing Biharis, Bangladeshis, etc) numbering over a hundred when only 6 are officially allowed.
The impertinence is that even the golden sand of the Keri-Tiracol islands is being extracted with impunity. The locals who accompanied the GRA team gives just about six months for the remains of the golden sand of the stretch between Keri and Tiracol to vanish.
Kerkars of Keri are holding a meet of the villagers on 6 March and about 600 villagers along with a motivator ( who will go on a total hunger strike) will march to the 'mines & industry building, Panjim- next to Azad Moidan) to enact the same tiartr that the Caurem people enacted a day ago with positive results.
The entire Keri area has vouched to be present on 15 March at Azad Moidan with full force just like the Caurem people have.
The general feeling of the people of Keri Village is that just 10 percent of trash is destroying the village and the rest of 90 percent is helplessly watching since the 10 per cent is supported by Goa's destructive politics. Therefore GRA has promised them help only if they will overcome their lethargy.
A. Veronica Fernandes (Kuwait) has just called in from Kuwait pledging support for GRA movement. He is sponsoring Rs.10, 000/- (two buses) for the GRA meet at the Azad Moidan 15 March. (Courtesy Target Goa)

GRA is a newly organized Team with good intentions in Mind. Like minded Goans are in full support of any organisations coming out for the better of Goa. These organisations will need financial support, where it comes from will also be observed by the corrupt politicians that will be seeking to derail such opposing organisations. Transparency will be the best policy as we go forward to undo the evil our politicians have created. All Goans not connected to corrupt politicians must come out in full force and support GRA financially and what ever means required to achieve the Goal. GRA we are with you.

  2. A. Veronica Fernandes thank you for the contribution, also thanks for Bebdo who has contributed Rs. 50,000 as this has allieviated some burden from our shoulders. Once again thank you Bebdo this shows how you faith and how sincere you are towards Goa. Thanks also to various friends who are working and sponsoring some buses especially Freddy and God bless you all.

Nagesh, why do you have to post the same comment twice? Well, it is interesting to read that the same Cruz is absolute about who Bebdo is. Why did this Bebdo dissapeared from Niz Goenkar? Is he now in Goa and propogating GRA? If we go past articles, he once wrote that he is in Dubai collecting funds to form a party and suddenly made a dissapearing act. Wish you good luck Bebdo aka Joseph in your endeavour to cleanse Goan politicians and thus becoming one.

Hats off to you Joseph from Dubai as well Bebdo, you two made it Rs. 100000 or one lakh. Hope more Goans will come forward and contribute. I am in Goa and will contact the members and contribute. If two people can make one lakh and more by Mr. Veronica Fernandes, I am sure Mr. Cruz will gather many lakhs in no time. Hope the agitation will be a success.

Reading the above comment of Phaldesai and the link I visited target goa and found it to be true. I am always reading this site Niz Goenkar but had not commented in the past. It is true I found this very strange in the comment of P. Cruz, it says bebdo has contributed 50000 and on target. Is P. Cruz playing some games or is he out to make money using ideas better then the mla's of Goa? I want to ask P. Cruz is this bebdo and joseph the same man? if it is not same then you already have 1 lack 10 thousand rupees with you and you do not need more but if the man is same then bebdo is no one else than joseph. This proves that you are playing games with the goans. thank god that Niz Goenkar has moved out of politics.

I went through this Target Goa and read the comment of Cruz, it is none other than the P. Cruz here. According to P. Cruz now there are one lakh contributed already by Joseph and bebdo both from dubai. This is ridiculous and now I am sure that Bebdo is none other than Joseph. The idiot bebdo almost ruined Niz Goenkar and now both these idiots are out to ruin GRA. I hope the GRA takes a note of this and kicks these two fake patriots out from their middle. I also request Mr. Menino not to deal with these two fellows as they are out for personal monetary gains and creating duplicate identities and fake parties. We do not need such guys to run Goa. So Joseph we know you are in Dubai and was operating in the name of bebdo. Good work Cruz in exposing the identity of bebdo!

If this bebdo is in Dubai and is Joseph as mentioned by Cruz on Target Goa and refered here on Niz Goenkar as Bebdo, then I know one Joseph, who works for a well known news line of Dubai. If my doubts are right I shall come up with his real identity and his place of work shortly. Lot of people have been trying to trace him but thanks to Cruz who shed some light by his comment on Target Goa and refered as Joseph has given rupees fifty thousand and on Niz Goenkar as bebdo has given rupees fifty thousand then I am sure that it is the one I have in my mind. I shall come up with all his details on Niz Goenkar and I request Mr. Menino de Valpoi to publish my comment with the details of bebdo

    ReplyDelete
  8. I think I am happy that Menino de Valpoi clarified his stand on his forming of a political party. I have a feeling that his wise decision is a good and bold decision. Menino is a brave man who started this Niz Goenkar and the results of his selfless efforts is today Goa is awaking from its sleep and are coming out on the street I salute Menino and can proudly say that it is NIZ GOENKAR that caused all this awakening in Goa and among the Goans. We can today blurt out truth without any fear. Our feelings can be expressed on Niz Goenkar the only brave site of Goa and in Goa. Not like Herald and others who are the chamchas of the politicians.
But the big blow to me comes as to the two other dumbs who had joined the team of Niz Goenkar and now are out on their own trying to fingure the uprising in Goa. They are P. Cruz and Joseph alias Bebdo.
I request the GRA not to trust these two idiots as they are playing games with you and are after power and will recover their money soon as they are in power. If they can fool people by saying Josep contributed 50000 (Target Goa) and Bebdo contributed 50000 (Niz Goenkar) then soon they will fool you too. Be careful of these people GRA

What is going on. It is all confusing to read. Can P. Cruz shed some light on this matter? or has he chickened out. I see no reply of P. Cruz here. Now how much money has been collected? one lakh ten thousand or sixty thousand only? Is Joseph and Bebdo one and the same person or are they two different person? Can Cruz clarify please? We are waiting for your answer before we proceed to put up banners and posters on you two imposters. I promise you that I will do it and show what I said here

  10. @Nagesh Phaldessai :

Please contact Frankie, Yatish or Bismarque to check the fact as you would be knowing them as you claim to be an active member of GRA. If that is the case, then probably by now you should have known who is who and how much money has been given by who and whom and from where.
Stop dividing and misleading Goans and to stop fishing to find out who is who. The organisers have already received what they were promised and there is no need to clarify to someone like you. If you are a real activist, then you would have known me and Bebdo by now. Me and Bebdo are men of principles who are fighting for Goa and Goans and we honour our words. We not only write, but we also act, unlike some people like you who speak with forked tongues.
Now that you are trying to call me a fraduster, I want to expose you as a fraud. Give me your mobile number or your email and I will forward you with proof what has been given by whom and to whom.
We would also like to meet you in Goa and parade you in front of everyone for casting aspersions on activists like me and Bebdo.
Have you got guts, then reveal your identity. And if you really are an activist of GRA then can you name some of the core members of it along with their mobile numbers? Pls don't come up with the mobile numbers of Fr. Bismarque, Adv Yatish and Frankie, I have given this to some people. I want the contact details of the other members who are working behind the scene and are the real motivators of this movement.

who are you trying to bluff Cruz? What about this comment of yours on Target Goa? Are you still trying to cover yourself up and trying to accuse others? Your are really a @#$%^& man Read your own comment below:

    Name: Cruz
    Friday, March 04th, 2011
Thanks Veronica, also thanks to Joseph from Dubai for offering Rs. 50,000 for the cause which will be delivered this week. Joseph you have made our load easier, thanks once again to all who have contributed

Now go and read your comment above. What Nagesh Phaldessai has said about you is absolutely correct. Instead of accepting your faults and and tendering an apology you are trying to cover up yourself. Have you got a mouth to talk all that nonsense above. Do not try to fool us you admit that you have shown all the Goans who Bebdo is.

WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTION OF NAGESH PHALDESSAI? ANSWER THAT AND THEN YOU CAN give other clearance about you.

I think I have to agree with the commentators as I feel that the intention of P. Cruz is in a doubt. On one website he says that "Joseph has contributed 50000" on the other website he says that "Bebdo has contributed 50000" so if we add these both amounts it becomes one lakh then what is the need of more money if two persons have contributed the amount?

I request P. Cruz to explain to us what all this is and why is he confusing the readers on different websites. What are you trying Mr P Cruz? can you answer us as now I too have my own doubts about you and Joseph and bebdo.

GOAN BROTHERES AND SISTERS: GRA has hardly made an impact on the ground and here you are debating about how much is given and who Bebdo and Joseph is. Why do any one have to declare who is giving how much, it is not advertising or looking for praise’s campaign I hope?
Mr P Cruz it is great that your Friend Bebdo or Joseph is contributing the large amount. Had an account details been given money would have found its way in from every corner of Goa, rather than praising who is who. At this moment in time there is need for unity which is very fragile or literally none among Goans. Read the article "BJP AFTER MGP TO FORM ALLIANCE"
On this blog carefully and understand “BJPs Conserns” the current politicians mainly from the Congress in south Goa will have a field day with dis-united Goans.
Let us learn to build a united front before btaking the battle to the enemy. I too want changes in Goa for the better but it due to lack of unity Goa is going to the Dogs.

Here we have an opportunity which comes once in a life time and it is in the Form of GRA. These are not idle people who sit on their backside, but they have united with good intentions. Unless there is good honest and like minded support they cannot do all the work on their own. Goans must unite together and offer their support to GRA. Our future starts here and Now.

GRA thanks for your united front and hope we all can unite and support you for the love of our Goa. We have to make a strong impact on the corrupt politicians that they sweat with the heat. Goans have had enough of these politicians but no true leaders to lead them. Disputes like the above issues will not unite but will drive others further away. We need one voice, one unity and one fight to last us a lifetime. If we do achieve in this fight this will be the greatest one after the Opinion Poll.

  17. I agree with Mr. Anand Mopa...whoever it is...Joseph or Cruz, lets keep it private...the need of the hour is to mobilize people....lets get the party launched, registered...have a bank account that is audited by a bunch of reputed "goan" CA's every quarter....and let any Goan who loves his her motherland contribute to it...Let contributors remain anonymous(that was Obama's strategy...rich to poor, from millions to single digit contributions...everyone did, the campaign was about Obama(change/hope)...not about contributors.....since the cause here is much larger than an individual. It is about Goa....keep our personalities/conflicts aside and work for this cause.... I salute the GRA....our intent should be to fill azad maidan on march 15th, which will make all goans wake up. I will be there....as a Goan...as an "aam admi" the real aam admi...I remember my uncle telling about the first election rallies in Goa(1963?)...when MGP was formed, the whole of azad maidan was flooded with people...people on the road...few days later the UG launched it's party....and the crowd was as big or bigger(my uncle was a UG so he had his bias maybe)....anyways...48 years later...we need to flood azad maidan....walking, by buy, scooter,car..."Chol ya Azad Maidan". and let the GRA slogan be "Vote for mother Goa"
Agreeing with Vinod's poem...us replace "viva Goa" with "Mojem Goem"...

I could read the inflamatory clarification from Mr. P. Cruz. I do not see any material in his clarification but just some sort of venom directed at me or over my head. I was not arrogant at you but your outburst seems to hide your real face. Yes, I am a founder activist and you can check this with the names you mentioned. You don't try to defame us as we have not extended our hands for money. We have extended our hands for support in all forms and if some people want to help us monetarily, that is for logistical support but not necessarily. You seem to hide your face by not replying to the point. This morning, I have checked if such amount is received with our main team and to their surprise, it was shocking and claims and counter claims made on this blog is harming the motives of our organisation. GRA will clarify this on stage on the 15th and clear the air. It is you who is investigating me so I leave this job to you to find me on centre stage of GRA. I do not want to be rude to you as you are too agitated at the moment and won't understand my language. I hope you better read other comments and have a good sleep.

Very interesting debate here. This is how Goans fight and defame ourselves. In one of the comment, P Cruz claims that he does not have the means to send or receive money as he works off shore. Then how come he can keep track of how much money is received? Why has he to bother who donates what? Is he given the charge of publicity by the donors. If it is fora a cause, one hand should not know the other hand.

Niz Goenkar should not itself form a party but remain as a watchdog. I respect Menino for the bold stand taken with his clarification not to form a Niz Goenkar Party. Even bal Thackerey runs a paper in Marathi called Samna but he have a different party. Samna is just a mouthpiece but not a party. If Niz Goenkar starts a party, the voice of every Goan who writes here freely will be lost. We are very happy with Niz Goenkar as we can air our grievances through articles and comments. GRA is made up of some elements who were earlier with GBA and other organisations. GRA is also supported by BJP. It is OK as long as BJP does not run the affairs.
I see on this forum Goans fighting Goans. This is where we fall and fail to deliver. I can see the commentators are after P Cruz for his different remarks and views. He should be given a chance to clarify his stand and if not, we can assume that he is a shady character trying to hide the truth or destroy GRA. This organisation should not die before it's birth. Self interests should be put behind.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Felix yes we have to agree in what you say, but then why all the time this donation and money talks here? If something is collected it should be through an account. Don't you think that Mr. Cruz is trying to give a publicity to Mr. Bebdo or Mr. Joseph through media? It clear appears that they are out for publicity. This should not be so. We do not need something for publicity but from a whole hearted love for Goa. Take the case of Niz Goenkar (Menino) who is working tirelessly for Goa with love and not for money and publicity. He is one brave person who has made the voice of the commom people heard and has stood up to it. This is real love for Goa and Niz Goenkar has created this awakening in Goa and if I am not mistaken Mr. P. Cruz and Mr. Bebdo are the members of his team.

    Dear all Commentators and Readers,

I think now we should keep this issue aside and unite like never before and join or attend the meed organised by GRA at Azad Moidan. Anybody can commit mistakes, which is quite human and natural. Let us not crucify him/her for a mistake. Those things can be sorted out later on personally. If the concerned person does not give any clarification let him not. Do not pressure him. I also request Mr. Phaldessai not to drag the issue any further.

Let us now concentrate on whatever is about to happen. I also request Mr. P. Cruz not to declare anymore about any contributions be it the amount or the name. Just open an account which is monitored properly and do the work by keeping a record of every transaction.

So let us stop this attack on Mr. P. Cruz here as I know that since Mr. Cruz will not give any clarification you people will go on attacking him. This is not the way we are going to fight for Goa by fighting among ourselves and will only give a boost to the crooked and the corrupt politicians of Goa.

Hence my humble request to all of you is to stop this fight as everybody by now knows that Joseph is "Bebdo" and carry on with our main cause.

Thank you very much. Sincerely from MENINO DE VALPOI

    CLARIFICATION FROM GRA
This morning, it was brought to our notice the ongoing controversy by some of our supporters. As such until now, we have just supporters and not permanent members but people with like and permanent minds and interests. We are trying to organize ourselves with people of high reputation who can bring a new revolution and change in Goa. We are proud that Niz Goenkar is giving us a good coverage for our cause and motive but this should not bog down with controversies especially with finances. Until now, we have not made any appeals for finance but like minded people have come forward with different types of support. And our finances do not exceed a lac of rupees but we surely need over lakhs of people to listen to us on the 15th and spread our message to save Goa. Hope this will put an end to all controversies. We also do not have people who does propaganda of who gave what. All are welcome to contribute in kind and support. Your presence on the 15th is more than what you can give us.

If I am not mistaken, there was a article on Niz Goenkar by Bebdo titled "Real Bebdo Unmasked". I believe this is the real one where the real bebdo is really unmasked for nothing by his opponent Cruz. These type of controversies are created to confuse Goans by a few individuals for self gains. We will not understand if this was purposely done by Cruz to take revenge on Bebdo. They should have sorted out their differences personally between them. This taints the very purpose of GRA and make it look like a suspicious organisation. I request Cruz and Bebdo to sort things within themselves without puzzling others. We have high hopes on GRA as another real Goan outfit to give a fitting reply to the babus of Delhi.

  26. Does it matter who donated what and how much? What is the point if we collect a lot of money but stand divided. What will be the outcome if we have money but no trust and people don't show up thinking we are just a joke. Whoever the jokers are will be dealt with later. Bebdo or P.Cruz you don't have to advertise how much you have donated.

My brothers please donate only to registered acount numbers. If you want to donate please do not expect any recognition. We are on the threshold of saving Goa from degradation and here we are arguing about the money. There are a lot of discrepancies in statments made by various individuals over the period, but this is not the time to sort them out. Why do some Goans love to fight, nitpick, boast or even back stab? Yet we are very loving and unique in nature. The only fight we have to face right now is the sorry state of affairs in Goa which our Corrupt and criminal ministers have created, mainly The MLAs of South Goa. Let us gram this opportunity and support GRA to mold a better future for Goa and Goans. Goa belongs to Goans and not outsiders. Let us all make 15th March an important day to remember on our calenders. Let us not treat it as a one day event, let us treat it as food for our survival. So let us not fight, nitpick, boast or even back stab each other. I want my family to proud of and part of Goa, WHAT ABOUT YOU?

  30. Salvador Seraulim5 March 2011 at 06:21

Oh Goenkars any donation given must be discrete, the right hand not knowing what the left is giving. Or else it will be Donkeys praising its own tail. Or our ministers specially laying foundation stone for Toilets for cheap publicity. If we do it from the heart it will please us and God too. Also it is Sin to sit and do nothing while our ministers are ruining Goa to fill their own pockets. So on the 15 of march let us lend our support to the GRA group and reap the benefit. If we do we will be creating a better future for Goa and Goans.

  32. This is the worst disappointment I have ever come across. Suddenly the new “U” turn in the news related to the development of money matters has turned sour in our mouths. Bebdo is the one who was entertaining everyone on the blog by his wits and fancies and suddenly he dropped out of the picture. Was there some deceitful development between the editor and him or someone else? Now I have already lost faith in any of the organization or individual working for the betterment of Goa. This type of double standard has really tarnished our image and egos on this blog. Now a real million dollars question arises in my mind whom to trust and whom not to. Few are targeted and nobody knows what will be our future course of action. We are being targeted as a laughing stock by our own people by just fighting within ourselves. Let us hope and pray that some new distinguished individual faces with wisdom and unbiased thinking come forward on the 15th March to vouch our present plight created by the present governance. Otherwise there is no hope. VIVA GOA VIVA CARNIVAL.

Secondly you have created a situation, whereby the people do not know what they are keying or corressponding. Roque... If I am a patriot, holiday or no holiday I would see to it that I attend the meeting come what may. We talk big big things, when we do not have any bloody guts to support the cause. Bebdo showed you all the way & instead of treading the path bodly, you all are talking highly of menino who does not even have the spine to stand on its own feet....For - .Bravery you should have the guts and determination to concentrate on the mission... not fight and crib like the JV old ladies......topic is Money.... and the People on this blog are talking like /who is Bebdo?. Why.... Salute him that by his writing you all have come on this site.. Secondly What has menino done. he does not even have the power of words to attract people. As for me I do miss Bebdo's articles, bcz there has been changes and people are awakening. Message to all Goans is Goal = changes in Goa (unity + money + hardwork (field work). not singing praises of menino who' site went unrecognized till Bebdo articles did nit come on the site. P. Cruz.... look at him... working zealously not bothering who says what and yet clarifying on this blog...hats off to him... even though busy yet mainting his contribution towards the Goal.... we need people like P. Cruz, not menino... who is simply creating confusion.

This article and comments has only created confusion. Our motive should be how to support the cause and not with how much and who donated. I am sure, there isn't anyone here seeking accounts. We Goans prove here that that united we stand and choke each other forgetting the real cause sorrounding us. Hope sense will prevail or the consequences we will bear. The consequences are that we will fight amongst ourselves and the same Chors will loot Goa until the last bite. Let us support GRA in all forms.

  39. I always read this Psalm and this is my answer to all of you!

    Psalm 91 God Our Protector

Whoever goes to lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the almighty can say to him, you are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust. He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. He will cover you with his wings. You will be safe in his care. His faithfullness will protect and defend you. You need not to fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day or the plagues that strike in the dark or the evil that kill in daylight. A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you , but you will not be harmed. You will look and see how the wicked are punished. You have made the lord your defender the most high your protector, and so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home. God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones. You will trample down lions and snakes fierce lions and poisonous snakes. God says, I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as Lord. When they call to me, I will answer them; When they are in trouble, I will be with them. I will rescue them and honor them. I will reward them with long life. I will save them!

NOW ALL OF YOU HYPOCRITES THIS IS MY MESSAGE TO YOU THAT I CARE A DAMN WHAT YOU SAY AND I WILL NOT DISCLOSE WHO BEBDO IS, I CAN TAKE ANYTHING FOR SAKE OF GOA AND I WILL STAND TALL, BOLD AND BRAVE.

  40. First of all let me apologize for my poor knowledge in politics. All I know is if a State or Country need to prosper there should be good governance by a good clean government. Today Goa is ruled by self centered individuals who are worse than the most hardened criminals blinded by avarice and to achieve this they will go to any limits. I have high respect for Mr.Menino for his sincerity, honesty and undying love for our motherland Goa and to many who write here. When herald closed the door to its comments forum Mr.Menino opened a window for us in the shape of Niz Goenkar blog which has now turned into a gateway for our voices to be heard, and believe me its heard far and wide, loud and clear wherever Goans dwell. My heart just bled when I read about the duplicity, deception, and greed by a handful of our own people who I had respected and in whom I had put my faith and trust. I felt cheated, torn and hurt. Why cannot we just be simple and do good things for our fellow Goans. Why do we have to back stab our own friends. This does not make sense to me. I once was the poorest of the poor by which I mean, a poor may afford two meals a day but me and my family survied on one meal on most days, two was luxury, but our mother made sure that we did have a piece of bakrecho or panvamcho or undi xitachi or a gont nisacho before we went to bed in the night. I owe to my past for what I am today, a simple man with small dreams (one can have big dreams and still be good). I appeal to everyone, please let us stand united in our cause and clean Goa and make it shine again. Due to unavoidable circumstances I will not be able to attend the GRA meet but some of my near and dear ones definitely will. Viva Goa Viva Niz Goenkar. God Bless us all. Dev borem korum.

  41. bebdo,
is like elusive scarlet pimpernell, so be it.His articles and the knowledge there- in is fiery and catchy and hence catches imagination of the reader. Why is he made the apple of discord?has he contributed less to the knowledge of the reader regarding goa on this blog, or has he seen a new vision of Goa and shares it with others without any prejudice? Is he one step ahead than others? He struck like a whirlwind....and is quiet like a dove, while people debate about him, elusive as scarlet pimpernell, while some try to expose and give him away.Does he have no right to his privacy?

    P.Cruz,
your initiative is well respected.Suppose you chicken out due to pressure from the comments .Has any one got a replacement for you?Thought and action are two different things. If we have all the good thoughts about goa nad noone to put it into action. Will the third front survive. It is like the two sides of the coin. Both sides the thought promoters and the action doers must have one common understanding
the greater glory of God,AMDG,sorry the greater glory of goa underGods guidance. There seems to be some sort of discord between the two camps.

the witer favours none but is neutral, seeks the greater glory of goa.

To all concerned, are we become the judge, the jury and the executioners, all in one; there could be a number of reasons for one’s expression. If we start doubting people’s motives at such an early stage we will miss the direction that we need. Has any one sent money to Cruz or Bebdo ? Or have they given any account number for any one to deposit the money, if so we can always check the account details. If they have not given an account number or received money where does the question of fraud arise ? Let’s not condemn for the sake of condemning. Let’s get our priorities right, let’s focus on what’s on hand and what we can do for that movement instead of wasting our time in ridiculing each other. If money has changed hands and is unaccounted then we have the right to ask for clarification. Let me tell you about our parish priest, a lot of people use to give donations to our Chapel and some people did not want their names to be announced but even then the priest would read out their name and asked why, he would say, we do need a lot of funds for our Chapel and if I announce name then people have this tendency to give more than the other for competition sake, who is the winner, the Chapel, now I would not mind giving Cruz and Bebdo the benefit of doubt. I am sure they are not criminals like our politicians.

The GRA is a new organization that could lead us to a new beginning, Are going to extend our support in being united or are we going to kill our own soldiers before going to war?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Freddy A. Fds. You are correct. Like you said, P Cruz mentioned who donated, so that it will assist others to donate as well, As far as I know P Cruz or Bebdo did not ask for funds to be sent to them, instead they asked to send them to the organisers, core members of GRA.. When I contacted a GRA member to send funds, they said the account is not set up yet, so I'm still held up.
Please Bro's & sisters, dont doubt anyone. The two have very good intentions for goa, not to deceive. It amazes me, their silence, I can only say grace under presure.
We have a job to cleanse Goa, after all the ravings, things are in action, so lets give full momentum to the GRA, for sucess.

  47. Johnny Barreto, Kuwait6 March 2011 at 02:02

I do not see anything other than confusion on this topic. I respect the view of Freddy A. Fernandes as this long argument can drive away many. If we run back through the comments and then reading Target Goa, it is obvious that some people were seeking publicity for themselves or doing it for others. There was no need to declare amounts like it is done in the case of Veronica from Kuwait. The other side of it, demonstrates the confusing comments or should I call it confusing signals from P. Cruz and Cruz about rupees fifty thousand by two different names. So that must have boiled the issue as there should have been no publicity about the amount except that whoever interested could have taken from GRA committee. That has attracted mistrust thus is all the confusion. I do not know if it was intentionally done by the politicians or I will fail to understand if the parties concerned with the issue are trying to spoil the show. Disclosing amount of some individuals has also discouraged others those who wanted to donate lesser amount making them feel petty.
In another discussion today in Salmiya, similar sentiments were shown by few prominent Goans here. I hope the Kuwait Goans will heed the call and support GRA like the other communities Worldwide.

  48. Romald D'Souza, Tivim6 March 2011 at 04:02

I support Johnny Barreto, Kuwait. Was it done to be famous by some individuals. As I am in Goa and spoke to some of the GRA related people from Morjim and Arpora, it has come to light that the different NGO's are working hard to make the meeting a success. Congress seems to be working hard to disrupt the success. Hence I believe that some of these supposed to be famous donors must be creating confusion, they must be Congress agents working for the interests of the corrupt politicians. If one want to donate, why the big banner about their names? Was the money taken forcibly from them so that the whole world knows about it? This shows that some malicious people want to spoil the name of GRA and create disunity, doubt and disharmony amongst Goans so that we should never be united. Long live GRA, long live Goa and Goans. Viva Goa, Viva Carnival.

  49. I agree with many of you disclosing large figures donated, makes others who can afford only a few rupees from their heart feel inferior.

  51. @P. Cruz, your preaching from the Holy Book with reference Psalm 91 God Our Protector is welcome. You must be a holy person but at the same time, I believe you are one amongst the devils too.

A holy person does not swear with bad words at the readers. Look at your own comment and see what you wrote in capital letters. You seem to be a man of lost mind. Avoid bringing the Bible in your fight and do not stain it, respect the Holy Verses and do not use them to shield yourself and then discard it with curses.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Mr. P Cruz, I respected you earlier and your articles. What do you mean that all we are HYPOCRITES? Are you yourself not a hypocrite? You are saying you will not expose bebdo but you have already done that and we know that it is Joseph as declared by you on Target Goa. What more is left of bebdo which is not exposed. You are talking all sh.....t

    ReplyDelete
  53. This is very funny on the part of P. Cruz. In the name of Bible quote, calling people hypocrites. Could you please tell me why did you comment on the Target Goa that Joseph gave 50000 and on Niz Goenkar Bebdo gave 50000 which means you have 100,000 with you if not bebdo and joseph are one and the same person. What do you say to that Cruz? Bible also says do not curse others. If you cannot handle the way you put a comment then how will you be able to handle the politics properly by talking two ways?

Please Christians do not bring the Bible in conflict against Goa’s corrupt politician’s fights The GRA should take note of it. We are not fighting a religion war here.
@ Cruz you and your cronies should join the BJP who like religious conflicts.

  59. Mr. Lotlikar, you have said it. This is what Chorchill also does during his meetings. He talks about God and how Our lady of Livrament has helped him to help the masses. Most Holy Father P Cruz. This is for you to understand very loud and clear. I am a devout Christian myself and the religion for me is to reach God, to communicate with God and do good things. Not to use to shield myself or hide someone. You have this forum to openly debate and clarify and not act like a Taliban by putting religion forward and attack readers as hypocrites. To John14pereira::In a recent visit to Dubai, where Churchill was invited by some of his parasies to attend a Tiatr, he stated that he was having HIP problems, and after praying for 7 days he was well and felt better. What he forget to tell his "Dubai Parasites" & "LEECHES" is that, he felt better after finding out the balance and increase of his money ,in investments in the Hotel Industry and the money he has stashed in Dubai to avoid Indian Taxes.
No doubt these "Churchill Dubai Parasites and Leeches are happy to be taken for a ride and are even more content to demonstrate their gullibility.
However rest assured Churchill is on his way out.The divine Being that he claims to worships has given him signs that his days are coming to an end and so he has got his Daughter "BIG LIPS" Valanka and Son to join the Corrupt Political Bandwagon.
Has anyone noticed Valanka has great difficulty smiling.? This is not due to nerves but guilt.Has anyone ever seen a thief smile? Yes , only when he / she is on his / her own with the loot .

  66. Reading these comments disgust me...you know my family thinks im going crazy over our cause because they keep saying that we can never unite but i keep thinking otherwise as i have belief in God and our Goans, if anyone doesnt want to contribute towards any cause fine but whats your problem when others do the same ? Like i mentioned earlier that anyone can blog but what matters is action on the ground..atleast the GRA has taken an initiative so lets give them a chance,i mean we trusted our 40 thieves long enough and no one has the guts to come out in the open and stop their plunder, but here is a group who want to do something and here we are not sparing an opportunity to defame our own brethren who share our goals...of course money is required for gathering data, travelling across our villages etc...besides many have put their respectives jobs on the line ,do you think its easy ? If the GRA are successful why then should everyone then want a slice of the cake ? Our cause needs sacrifice - monetary included.
One again i would like to clarify that im not a GRA agent and am speaking out more against our mentality than patronizing any group.

So now tell me whether what I have said is right or wrong.

  68. In the USA every hurricane is given a name it come destructs and gone, the lives of the citizens is never better but worse. In Goa many organisations have come and gone and have had visions to better Goa but these organisations have fallen prey to the Politicians.
Here we have another Group “GRA” coming up although they are not tender foot, what is their stand against the two main political parties BJP and Congress? How transparent is the GRA, How transparent are the supporters that make the appeals? Will GRA take part in forming Goa’s third New Stronger party?
What are the rewards for Bebdo, Joseph and P. Cruz making appeals with large sums of donations themselves? Usually Politicians donate large sums for various village organisations and expect loyalty in return. will that be the case here.

  69. @Sandesh : Arre baba when did i say you are wrong,we all have raised valid points but i really feel hurt when we (goans) all start insulting each other and question peoples integrity....just imagine how those 40 thieves and not to mention the ghanties must be celebrating seeing us fight here at niz goenkar.
But i sincerely apologize if i used any incorrect words that may have offended you or any of my goan brethren.

@Neil, you are right and we are right, we all are right in our own way. Money collection may be right for a cause but publishing was wrong. It discouraged many. Some said since such an amount is collected, why should we contribute more? Some felt belittled, some saw it as another scam like Churchill, Monserrate, Narvenkar, etc. It looked that interests were published rather than gfood intentions. This is already rocking the GRA right now. We are yet to appoint a convenor but our boat has been rocked if not hit by a wave. We will still move forward and because of funds, nothing will run short.

Roque, GRA is a newly formed NGO. All this while, a good numbers of Village groups, NGO’s and other like minded bodies use to fight their individual battles but in vain, as such Success was negligible if not a nonentity. Today it’s a different situation and a good one at that, all these groups and NGO’s have come together to form Goyencha Rakkondaramcho Awaz (GRA) to fight corruption and the anti Goans policies of the present regime. I know a lot of people will ask question about their integrity, ethics and motives. We can do that at a later stage, at the moment we have to support their call to fight corruption and anti Goan policies. I am not trying to sound pessimistic but can anything be worse than what we already have in Goa at the moment ? So lets keep aside our cynicism and our doubts and give these people a chance to prove themselves. We have been electing the same rascals over and over again even after knowing their motives so can’t we just take a chance with them ? Only pity and feelings will not bring in a change, actions must follow only then we can have some reprieve.

Clunha::: No doubt this (mob/ chamchas of current Politicians) is expected and will have been factored in this meeting.
It would be interesting to see the behaviour of the Goa Police.Money has probably already exchanged hands by the corrupt.
Also I expect Mickky Pacheco will try and flex his muscles as he is currently sailing on a "Rudderless Political Boat".
He will be looking for any Party where he can jump Ship.He is aware that NCP are sitting ducks. No doubt Mickky wil arrive in his Hummer , along with Matthew Diniz and Lyndon Monteiro to demonstrate their power.
I think Goans are aware the Hummer is now out of fashion and has lost its shine and also monetary value.
Another "nutcase" to watch out for is the Rapists Fathe,r Monseratte and his coterie of Gangsters..He will no doubt send a few thugs to infiltrate and try to cause trouble at the GRA meeting. On the next day he will deny all involvement.

To all my fellow Goans, who stand for a Common Cause “Save Goa” we seem to end up in a “Tug Of War of Words” here, let’s just set our differences aside and pull the Rope on One side as the opposition is the Dirty Politicians, The Migrant Menace and Everything that’s Against Goa. Honestly besides me just writing here I’m honest enough to say my Contributions have just been my Writings so far, but in due course of time, I will also work towards making a Difference, have asked all my Family Members in Goa to attend the GRA Meetings, have told my Friends and People I know in Goa too, have posted all this on Social Networking Sites. Well that’s all I did for my Contribution so far, but will try to do more.
