PLANS FOR NEW BUS TERMINUS IN MARGAO WILL BE KEPT OPEN FOR PUBLIC TO VIEW:CM

PORVORIM: Chief minister Digambar Kamat on Thursday informed the Goa legislative assembly that the rough plans for the new bus terminus in Margao, once ready, would be kept open for public viewing and feedback.
This "unique project" will fully support the government-run Kadamba Transport Corporation, Kamat said, adding that the government has called for international bids and five such bids have been shortlisted already.  Kamat's assurance to the House came in response to a starred question by Fatorda BJP MLA Damodar 'Damu' Naik to transport minister Ramkrishna 'Sudin' Dhavalikar.
In his written reply, Dhavalikar said the project will be constructed by the Goa state infrastructure development corporation (GSIDC). He said 70,182 square metres of land has been acquired and that a proposal to acquire an additional 6,376 square metres of land has been forwarded to the South Goa collector.
Stating that Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act has already been issued in this regard, he said that even though the project's plans and estimates have not been prepared yet, the project will be taken up on a priority basis.
Questioned if the project will be undertaken on a private-public-partnership (PPP) basis, the chief minister said that since the site selected for the project is prime property he was personally opposed to undertaking the project on the PPP model. Not convinced by the chief minister's statement, opposition leader Manohar Parrikar cited the example of the new district hospital at Mapusa.
"The Mapusa hospital was also first built by the GSIDC. Now you want to run it on a PPP basis. Will the same thing happen to the Margao bus stand?" he asked.  Dhavalikar reassured the assembly that the project will not be constructed on a PPP basis.

Transport Minister has reassured the State Assembly that the project for the new bus terminus will not be constructed on PPP (private-public-partnership) basis.
The statement and question, by the Leader of Opposition was: "The Mapusa hospital was also built by the GSIDC. Now you want to run it on PPP basis. Will the same thing happen to the Margao bus stand?" The question was about "running" of the project but the reply from the transport minister was about "construction" of the project and NOT "running" of the project. Misleading?

There seems to be "superlative adjectives" used to describe everything in Goa Today by Mr Dick-Head Kamat.
He has called Churchill and his daughter "DYNAMIC".He now goes further to state that the Bus Terminus will be "WORLD CLASS" or Mopa Airport will be "International CLASS"
He is trying to fool the voters with such descriptions.
I can assure every Goan Citizen, that the description Kamat gives, these days to everything, is nowhere near the exact truth.
I wonder if Kamat actuallly knows the meaning of these adjectives he uses.If he does know, then he has a problem with truth or reality.
Every Goan knows that Churchill his daughter Valanka and his fan club in Dubai are all daylight theives.
Now you might ask why I accuse Churchills Dubai Lackeys. It is simple... they go out of their way to promote Churchill and in doing so abet in his crimes. They are in theory and practice glorifing a known smuggler and theif.
The do this to get favours done in Goa.However, they should not have to go begging to Churchill, when it is their fundamental right to have good administration.
By their actions , these Churchill Dubai Lackeys, promote corruption.Dubai acts as their "spring-board"
