STATE GOVT WILL NOT ALLOW THE NAVY TO ACQUIRE LAND IN GOA: CM KAMAT

PANJIM: Stating that "as far as possible the state government would not allow the central agencies including Indian Navy to acquire land in Goa" as required by them, the Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat, on Tuesday, said that whenever the state government has requested the central agencies to part with small area of their land for its projects, these agencies have rarely agreed for the same.
"Say for example, when my government requested the Indian Navy to part with 4 acres of its land for expansion of the Dabolim airport, which could have allowed us to complete the proposed expansion including construction of aero bridges, they delayed the release of the land," he observed, adding that since the land cannot be transferred to the Airport Authority of India, the entire airport expansion process is in jeopardy.
The Chief Minister also took serious note of the decision of the AAI as regards not allowing the vehicles outside the airport building. "The AAI allows the vehicles of its staff to park inside the airport complex, but forces the passengers to walk out up to the main road, for boarding their vehicles," he pointed out, stating that senior citizens are very much affected due to this decision, especially if there is a lone senior citizen with luggage.
Earlier, the Revenue Minister, Mr Jose Philip D’Souza informed the House that the acquisition of a land admeasuring 36,800 sq mts, for expansion of Dabolim airport (parking) was partly dropped on grounds that the said property falls under settlement zone and the vacant space is available for parking in the nearby vicinity, and furthermore, physical possession of the land has not been taken by the government.
The deputy Speaker, Mr Mauvin Godinho stated that as per the outline development plan of Mormugao, around 76,000 sq mts of land is available near the airport; however, is not sought by the government.  "On the other hand, about 56,000 sq mts of land belonging to a private party, Mr Bernard Costa is sought by it," he informed.
Surprised over the fact that dropping of the land acquisition process was not discussed by the state cabinet, the leader of the opposition, Mr Manohar Parrikar said that any land acquisition drop should necessarily be approved by the cabinet.   Mr Parrikar also asked the Revenue Minister to reveal the name of the person who had pressurised the government into acquiring the 36,800 sq mts of land.

I doubt Digambar Kamat will keep his word. If Sudhir Pillai gives Kamat a bag full of money he will be a silent spectator and let Sudhir Pillai or you can call Moricho Pillo take the islands. Sudhir Pillai appears to be more enthusiastic in building a luxury resort at the islands by depriving the natives of their land and houses. Pillai has well planned for himself an ideal place to live in after he retires.

Indians have been looting Goa ever since they invaded Goa. It is some dirty organisations like the Goan ministers who are helping them to do this. Take the case of Churchill Alemao, who is the biggest destructor of Goa. He has destroyed Goa completely by giving the Rahejas and the likes land to build buildings which no Goan needs. This man is the biggest thief who betrayed the Mopa cause after taking a lot of money as bribe.

  4. MR Kamat You and your politicians in arms have turned Goa into one big circus arena. Goans need new young politicians with True Goan blood in their veins to lead them forwards.

  5. Bogus promises. Kick the Navy out if you mean it! Behind our back he will all give away. Look at what he did with the new Raj – CHORchill gave him his MEGA project when the whole of Goa is against it. We need to fire him from this job. All false promises! I will rather trust the GRA to come up with a replacement. We don't trust this man anymore. He is getting too fat eating all means provided by the real estate lobby and the mining industry. He even needs a special chair to sit in. All his people are rouges. It is time for a new administration in Goa. Please send out the message to join the GRA. We need to throw out both parties. One is a bunch of rouges, the other is a RSS sympathizer..

  6. Which State Government? Is there any governance in Goa by this Cowmuth government? There is only looting and rewards for looting goes to all the politicians and the crumb eaters. Reward for deceit and looting goes to Goa police too for being deceitful and still survive. It is the self interests of these cancers that ruins Goa on a daily basis.

Bull-shit you Moti Dongor Dog, you and your gang are on the looting spree and are least bothered to take care of Goa. These bas..rd are liars they cannot throw out Navy who are illigaly occupying Dabolim area, Navy have no right to occupy lone airport and these idiots are prostitutes of pimps from Delhi. Rane, without even consulting people of Goa handed down Anjadiv Island as if it was his fore-fathers property, it was the best time to make a deal and throw out Navy from Goa when island was gifted to them. But this Chor from Sattari and his entourage submitted to Delhi. One cannot understand, what these 40 useless creatures are doing. Unitedly they cannot throw out Navy?.Being a ruling party in Delhi what kind of governance they are running?. Hell with these people and their supporters, they will rot in hell forever with people's curses upon them ,their children and generation that comes on.

What do you mean ITS LAND, when was the land ever theirs, are there records to show that the land was given to them ?? or did the Navy buy it ?? Why don't you bunch of cowards all Goan Politicians till date march to the gates of the Airport (DJSIA - Dr, Jack Sequeira International Airport) and evict them. Probably it was a good excuse to let the rest of the corrupt agencies to function as the Navy did and illegally aquire land.

Last summer, i sent my kids down to Goa, both were under 7 - for the school hols. and it was pouring. U can imagine they had to run from the cover of the over pass outside to where the vehicle was waiting. Now imagine you get off the aircraft, its all humid and you are tired, sleepy cranky. Then as you exit the airport all the rush forward to meet their arriving family and some just rush forward.

What kind of message are we trying to send the tourist who visit us. We say are different from the rest of the India..... sadly we are not we lack all civic sense, discipline u name it. We can keep blaming the politicians and their crumb eaters, outsiders etc... what right do we have to point a finger at others when we our selves are doing the same.

As long as Goa is ruled by "DIRTY INDIANS" and their "DIRTY GOAN STOOGES" , it will always remain DIRTY.
Remember Goa is controlled by the DIRTY "Goa Desk" in New Delhi.
The development of Goa is stunted by those "DIRTY RATS" in the Legislature.
One of the DIRTIEST RATS is CHURCHILL.He also now has some "DIRTY RATS" in Dubai who are prepared to clean his "DIRTY UNDERWEAR".They invite him to Dubai to perform this cleaning ritual.Recently they have also taken up cleaning the "DIRTY KNICKERS" of his daughter (KIndly addressed as ) BIG LIPS VALANKA.
He Social work comes at a cost and for a fee.

  12. Who says India is a country ? As far as I am concerned India is a country in making. With different languages, cultures, religions .Even any document which is issued by one state is not recognised in the other state. Take the instance of liquor permits. These permits were and are issued by Govt. of Goa which are not recognised by the Maharashtra govt. What is legal in one state cannot be illegal in another state when we talk about a country.. I can quote many other instances like this.

India invaded Goa not to liberate us but to LOOT us. And it has been happening since 1961.
The government servants who were working at the Secretariat were given wages higher than the other government servants in order to keep their mouth shut , so that the loot and the illegalities doesn't come to light. See the land grab which took place. All government servants were given plots from Communidade land to build houses. Thereby depriving Goans of their prime land. Most of them are non Goans . Its a pity Goans were sleeping all this time. Although some were awake and talking about this, they were not heard. And its happening today. At least we got NIZGOENKAR to voice are feelings and hope Goans will rise again to fight for the injustice done to them.

See the Defence Forces , they feel India and Goa belongs to them. They are suppose to protect us but instead they are looting us. They have occupied almost whole of Goa and still they want s more . I will remind the readers that they do not follow the rule of the state even when they are outside their boundries. I can recollect so many accidents they met with in Vasco and other parts of Goa. Whenever there is an accident on the road they just go and hide in their compounds and no Police can enter there. Furthermore, let me tell you , Goa for them is just a Holiday destination Can they tell us since 1961 what the Navy and the other defence forces which are in Goa done for us.. See the ratio of land occupied by them. Also see the percentage of population they are defending. This will go in Guiness book of world records. Let this be the eye opener.
