DEAD MAN IN TROUBLE: FORGERY CASE REGISTERED AGAINST HIM

MARGAO: Margao town police on Friday registered an offence of forgery against a dead man. Moreover, the case stands registered 36 years after the crime was allegedly committed.
Police sources said the case was booked following a complaint by Antonio Cumao, a resident of Pedda, Comba. Cumao stated that Keshav Sinai Kunde took possession of his property after forging his signature on property documents submitted by him to the Salcete sub-registrar's office on April 14, 1975. Investigations are on.

  3. This looks to me more like an APRIL FOOL joke. I am still scratching my head if there are any Goans with a surname "CUMAO"
