RAJ THAKERAY’S PSO BOOKED FOR ASSAULTING AND THREATENING WITH HIS REVOLVER A TRUCK DRIVER

PANJIM: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray's personal security officer (PSO) was on Monday booked for allegedly assaulting and threatening a truck driver with his revolver at Ponda in Goa, police said.
Raj, the estranged nephew of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray who formed his own political outfir, was travelling in a convoy from Ponda to Margao in south Goa on Monday afternoon when the incident occurred.
Speaking to a news agency, Superintendent of police Arvind Gawas said that a complaint has been filed against Thackeray's PSO at Ponda police station by the truck driver. The police did not reveal the name of the driver or the PSO, who is a Maharashtra police official.
"The convoy was on its way to Margao when the truck came in front. The PSO was angry. He thought that the driver was blocking the road," Gauns said. Ponda is 30 km from here.
According to the complaint, the driver has accused the PSO of threatening him with his service revolver and breaking the window pane of his truck.
Local residents supporting the truck driver gathered at the site, triggering traffic jam along the Ponda-Margao state highway. Eyewitnesses said that the mobs were sporadically attacking vehicles with Maharashtra registration passing along the route. – IANS

  1. According to the newspaper, the courageous police "have registered a case against two 'unknown' persons for 'allegedly' assaulting the truck driver. They have registered a case against the truck driver also.
A niz Goenkar would have been hauled to the Police Station on the basis of a mere complaint. But why not so with gun toting Maharashtrians?

  4. This is just the begining my dear Goans. Raj has flexed his muscles while on a visit to Goa. And l say the police are afraid of him too. That's why a case was registered on the truck driver. Wait and see who will get away, and which case goes to court first, and gets thrown out of court first. And don't be surprised if the truck driver gets punished for driving within the limit. Outsiders are beating people in Goa, and we are just watching ?

  6. These Maharashtra thugs think they can come to and do what they feel like. If all Goans supported each other as the local residents of Ponda did, outsiders will think twice before using their thuggery against Goans.

  7. This will show if Goa government cares for 'Aam Aadmi'. Maharashtrian Goonda politicians come to Goa and criminally assault and destroy private property of Goans. Goa gonernment should arrest Raj Thackeray and his personal security officers, put them in Jail, file criminal charge sheet in Court and deny them bail. Raj is responsible for his security officers.
Will Goa government protect Goans right inside Goa itself ? or not?
If Goa government will not, then the C.M. will have to give an explanation to all Goans. The Home Minister will have to give explanation to his constituency. Otherwise Goans will retaliate, and will not spare any Maharashtrian vehicle seen in Goa. Innocents will suffer for sins of Raj Thackeray.

  8. Diomendes,
It's because Marathi Manoos is our CM. And also because there are lots of them in the present Cowmuth's Cabinet with the blessing of Salcette Congress Christian MLA's.

  9. Be it known to the Government of Goa and the Government of India, that this complaint to the police Station is not only by the truck driver and the truck owner; but by each and every Goan residing in GOA. If the Government does not act against the Political Goons coming from outside Goa and commit criminal acts on Goan territory, then Goans will take Law in their hand for which the Government will be responsible.

  10. That was a brave thing by the people of Ponda. These ghantti thugs should not be allowed to roam free in Goa, this certainly is not maharastra. Sena must not be allowed in Goa. Now lets see how the police & politicians handle this case, the foregone conclusion is these ghantti politicians & police will side with the ghanttis from maharastra. Goa is for goans.

Remember in Goa unknown persons are GHOSTS.
Remember in Goa "Ghosts" get acquitted.
If caught , they will soon be readying their visas for Peru.

  13. It had to happen some time, all migrants have taken over Goa. The Navy over our points of entry and exit for trade - the airport and may be even the port??. The army over prime land in Bambolim and a few building in the heart of Panjim. Now we have Regional political parties from other states brandishing their weapons in our faces. Lets face it it time to give up our houses to the next migrant we see - for free or he may beat us up/ worse kill us and take it all.

On my last visit in Feb 2011. tried to avoid an oncoming bus and a group of indian tourists - young boys walking in the middle of the road. This was in Candolim in the evening just past 8, before the temple. One of boys said in hindi Bosdi - which i think roughly translates as pimp. I backed up and asked the group why the boy said it. Can't you see we are walking, look where u drive. I asked why are they blocking half the road and where am i to go to avoid the bus. We anyway long story short the boy who said the words and the group will never forget their trip to Goa and that not all Goans are quite and meek, Ever!

My point is even the small shop / restaurants on the side did not want to interfere and most were Goans, the westeners could only say what rude behaviour (at me). Well i m sorry for standing up - if i had to curse you in your face for trying to save u r self what would you do ????

  14. Please tell me you Wacked the living day lights outta that A$$’ol, who said that to you, when I use to be in Goa on numerous incidents, esp. with inter-state Vehicles, where a Goan was involved in a tussle, I’ve parked on the side and intervened provided the Goan was in the Right, but when it actually happened to me one day, I hardly had anyone around to back me, even though I was in the right,
Anyways that’s the attitude of many Goan’s, a few like us want to stand up for what we are and what we want for Goa, and then there are a bunch of others who will not do anything and just stand and look, but when things get done, will come to reap the benefits, this is one of the main reasons why we have lost Goa to the Ghantis and the Dirty Politicians… now they fight for English, Konkani and Marathi, why the hell Marathi, I don’t know any True Goan in Goa that speaks Marathi…..

Bravo and Bravo if you whacked the s--t out of them, I certainly did and will do it again. Gone are the days when Goans genuinely stood united for another Goan. Offer them a a few drinks and they are there, just as they are there as political crumb eaters.

  16. We Goans are just fighting amongst ourself see now what MNS man did in Ponda, the begining has already started and this is in the middle period of Non Goans Raj, then it will be followed by last decade or Transistion Period where they will take over Goa. Sharda Rathod has taken Sancoale, Yatin Parek has taken Panajim with the help of Goan Babush's. They have taken our houses the land, everything, what we Goans have only Feni & Fish, ooh my God they ave taken the alcohol industry, and duplicate brands are done in Goa. Ooof they have taken the fishing industry the guys from Maharasthra and Karnataka take the wholesale fish in Margao, Panaji, everywhere. Tomorrow Goa's CM will be Non Goan, Most of the job in Government office are given to Non Goans oh my God not Non Goans the Ambassodors of Goa's. Rape, robberies, cheating are mostly done by the Non goans. To tell you in every front they have Gold Medal in their kitty, so now whoever comes in Goa box with Goan leave bruises and Go free, ARE GOANS HAVE BECOME BOXING BAGS FOR THE NON GOANS?
