The mounting garbage, increasing number of stray dogs and the pathetic state of some of the city gardens are amongst the other issues that would need immediate attention by the newly elected corporators of the Corporation of City of Panjim.
With Patricia Pinto being co-opted as Corporator to handle the garbage crisis, another expert could be brought in to tackle the stray dog menace. Noted horticulturist Daniel D’Souza could also be co-opted in to take care of the existing and plan new gardens with children parks for the CCP.
If we are able to ensure that all the 30 wards are free from garbage and stray dogs, and beautified with gardens, it would go a long way to make our city abetter place to live in.
I wish you would have won....you have great ideas. Sadly we will never get these done and instead have more of the same rubbish. It all depends what King Babush a.k.a Monster Rat wants to do? I don't know who we can get through to our people not to vote the way they do???? We all pay a very heavy price in the end!

ReplyDeleteHowever based on the criminal lifestyle of Monseratte, it would be a surprise to see Ms Pinto continue.Monsreatte is more of a dictator.So I would be surprised to see Ms Pinto`s schemes being given approval and freehand without interference from Monseratte..
Many Panjimites have clearly stated that Monseratte has no vision.His idea of beauty is to create slums and to cover all green spaces and fields with buldings.No doubt he would also like to see his name on all these buildings.
Dotor Aires, to tackle the stray dog menance, appoint Parrikar no matter he is from the BJP's dog shelter. The first stray dog to be netted should be Monster Rat and his other street accomplices. Second, the stray dog of Margao, Cowmuth. Stray dogs of Varca - the Alemaos, take the full family. The stray dog of Vasco Mauvin and Philip. The stray female dog of Santa Cruz - Mummy and her other "Kutro Put". And do not forget to net the stray dog of Betalbatim Ratol Pacheco along with his belly needs supplier Mathew. And the stray dog found near Casinos - Alex Swuirrel who should be put in a special cage as he seems to be a ac-dc type street dog.
