Well said Willie Severes on Herald dated 23rd March’11, It’s indeed a pity that the very people who preach, practice the opposite, I admire our Tiatrist fraternity, I do enjoy their songs and the messages that are conveyed through their Tiatrs.
It is the Tiatrist fraternity that has protected and projected our Mother Tongue Konkanni. I love our Tiatr culture but I am sorry to say that their singing songs against our corrupt politicians or the Tiatrs that expose our corrupt politicians are good but not enough, they should go further and do it with conviction to prove that they mean every word they say and sing.
I pray to the Tiatrist fraternity to boycott all functions where these morons are invited as chief guests, even if it means a big pinch in the pockets. That would prove beyond any doubt what they mean what they say.
I live in Dubai and as I said I love our Tiatr culture but unfortunately I and a few of my friends have stopped going for Tiatrs because here in Dubai too this imbecile are invited as chief guests, Goans in Goa are fighting wars and battles against these corrupt politicians and some Goans in Goa and overseas honour and pamper them. Isn’t that aghast?
In a few days time the PWD minister and the CM are invited to Dubai to give away Konkanni awards, a pro Marathi and a Konkanni traitor who has left Konkanni and Goa drying in the hot sun while at their costs they fills their barns. This is what we Goans stand for and support. We certainly get what we deserve.
IT seems like Dubai is the only place on earth, where there is a "sub-culture" or "SECT" of Goans, that still adore Goa`s Corrupt Politicians.
ReplyDeleteIt is a well known fact in the rest of the world where Goans live, that these few Dubai Goans are selfish and are traitiors.
They are not interested in the up-liftment of their Goan Bretheren.All they care about is their personal reputations ,glorification and their association with corrupt Politicians.They feel associating with the likes of Churchill, his daughter and other corrupt Goan Politicians gives them some crazy power or sense of elevation over other Goans.
You can be assured Goan Politicians will never be invited to Functions in the UK.This also applies to most other Western Countries.They are loathed in these places.
There may have been one incident in Swindon , where Monseratte was invited.But this was due to the new arrivals there, not being fully acclimatised to a new and braver way of thinking and being de-briefed. I am sure this will now be rectified in time.
During the SMGS saga,many Goans all over the world learnt how some corrupt Dubai Goans worked and operated under the disguise of the Church.Even the Parish Priest was shocked by the functioning and duplicity of SMGS.
OH YES, the provided entertainment and functions for other Goans...but you can bet you last "DIME". they also entertained their Bank Balances and polished the FUNCTIONING of these accounts.They certainly gave their egos and power a good PICNIC.

Have you not seen the latest DVD's etc. are sponsered by these very politicians. The songs and dramas may have the moral but in practice "PADRICHO SERMAO VONIECH NOI" (PRIEST'S SERMON IS NOT RELEVANT FOR THE SISTER-IN-LAW)
ReplyDeleteI am not sure why some of these or, a few of these imbecillic Dubai Goans,still hanker for a Chief Guest from Goa, knowing quite well ,it is because of the Politicians , many Goans have to seek a decent standard of living and life abroad.Many have to make extreme sacrifices to go abroad to support their family and loved ones back home in Goa.
ReplyDeleteMany have haad to also pay huge sums of money to go abroad....not in fares but other cut-throat and un-neccessary fees and bribes.Thes Politicians that they invite are well known to take huge amounts of bribes to send some one abroad.Churchill was very well known to send young and poverty sticken Goan boys to work on Ships for a monetary "cut".Rest aasured he still does it and has now passed on his TRADE SECRETS to his Big Lipped daughter Valanka.
Valanka too has slowly and stealthily become known as the "COMMISSION QUEEN".He so called Social work has a SOCIO-ECONOMIC charge.
It seems like some of these Dubai Goans that associate with the likes of Churchills, Mickky , Monseratte etc have lost their conscience and morals.They are a selfish speices and so must be made aware their actions are abhorrent and distasteful.They do not see the hurt and pain caused to their fellowmen in Goa, caused by these Politicians.
Perhaps now that they reside in Dubai, they feel they are aliens to what these Politicians are doing to Goa..
It seems like they take immense pride & pleasure in associating with the DEVIL/s.
They believe, by association with a Corrupt Goan Politician,they become a First Class Goan, become very superior and powerful by their own self made and imaginary definitions,while the rest of the other Goan are non-entities or 3rd class Goans.
Least do they know that they are seen, by the majority of Decent & commonsense Goans, as hypocrites and scoundrels.They could also be best described as "Beggars of the Politicians".By their actions they are positively subservient,servants and footman of these corrupt Goan Politician.In one simple word..."LACKEYS".
In the UK and in other Western Countries, Goans invite local dignitaries or Churchmen to be the Chief Guest.
This invitation helps to promote the Goan Culture to other communities.In the UK many Local Members of the British Parliament or Church Organisations are invited to attend Goan Functions.
I am sure there must be loads of other Dignitaries or Eminent citizens in Dubai,that can replace these corrupt Politicians imported from Goa.
I hope these Goans in Dubai that invite Churchill and Mickky Pacheco or Mauvin Godinho or Monseratte are aware, they are willing to come over, to also indulge in deviant sexual activities.
Additionaly they also conduct their money laundering activities and Black Money investments.This Black Money is the proceeds of their criminal activity.
It has been reported in a Local Goan Newspaper , that a person from Banglore comes to visit Churchill to collect bags of money in crores to invest in Bangalore.It surely has to be the swindled Goan Taxpayers money.
For sure Churchill cannot "grow" such amount in crores , even on a hybrid tree, located in his back garden.
A Bank Cheque will not be used as it becomes traceable and if Banked, questionable.
It would not be surprise me and should not surprise the older generatrion either, that Churchill has a lot of smuggled "GOLD BISCUITS /BULLION" stashed away in Banks in Dubai.This was and is sitll his main career....SMUGGLING.Its his addiction.

ReplyDeleteMost of our tiatarists are chamchas of minsters as they need donations to release their cassettes and CDs and then they sing praising the ministers. Our gone by tiatarists were true who were doing the tiatr for the love of konkanni, our present breed of tiatrists are greedy for money and acting for money. Our gone by tiatrist used to expose the corrupt government and even faced jail.
