PANJIM: A total of thirty-eight nominations came to be filed on Thursday for the Corporation of the City of Panjm (CCP) elections on March 13. Today most of the candidates from the BJP panel filed their nominations, even as the NCP-supported group is likely to appear tomorrow to file their papers.
The BJP candidates who filed their nominations include Prabhakar Dongrekar – ward 4, Sheetal Naik – ward 5, Lotlikar Shweta – ward 7, Durga Keluskar -- ward 8, Kamat Sudin – ward 9, Maya Joshi -- ward 10, Manoj Patil -- ward 11, Vaidehi Naik -- ward 12, Bharati Heble -- ward 13, Nina Silimkhan -- ward 16, Khandeparkar Nilesh -- ward 17, Deodita Da Cruz -- ward 19, Shailesh Ugadekar – ward 23, Diksha Mayenkar -- ward 24, Shubhada Dhond – ward 25, Shubham Chodankar – ward 27, Nivedita Naik Chopdekar -- ward 28, Pratima Hoble -- ward 29, Ratnakar Fatarpekar -- ward 18 and Rupesh Halarnkar ward – 30.
Independent candidates who filed their nominations are Hemlata Lotlikar – ward 7, Raju Naik -- ward 12, Shivdas Naik -- ward 14, Laxman Kharde -- ward 18, Sandhya Patil -- ward 20 and Laximi Kundaikar -- ward 25.
Former mayor Ashok Naik too filed his repeat nomination from ward 14. Gloria Po of the BJP panel filed repeat nomination from ward III. BJP- supported candidate Oscar Cunha also filed his papers from ward 26. Another former mayor Tony Rodrigues too filed his papers again from ward 8.
