MARGAO POLICE CATCH A MINOR WITH STOLEN CELL PHONES

MARGAO: In a major breakthrough in the spate of thefts in the Commercial Capital, the Margao police nabbed a minor boy and recovered around 30 cell phones stolen from a electronic shop last month.
The 17-year boy from Sanguem, who is a native of Jharkhand, was nabbed after police investigations revealed that he had lifted away 40 cell phones from City Electronics shop located on the Station Road, Margao. “The police has so far recovered 30 mobiles and are hopeful of effecting 100 per cent recovery”, informed Margao PI Santosh Dessai.
He said the boy, studying in a school at Rivona, was nabbed after the cell phone users informed that they had purchased the sets from him. “While lifting away the phones, the boy had left behind the boxes. But, we maintained a track on a basis on the phone number, which yielded results”, PI Desai added.  The minor boy has been sent to Apna Ghar.

  1. What is this place Apna Ghar? It sounds like a place in transit to become hardened criminals. These young Non-Goans that commit crimes in Goa should be kicked out of Goa with their parents.
