Dear all Goans and readers of Niz Goenkar, I would like to clarify before you certain facts pertaining Niz Goenkar. I started Niz Goenkar with a view to create an awakening among the Goans as I saw the destruction of my beloved Goa taking place and the destroyers are none other than the politicians of Goa.
This site was started with a special purpose in mind and that is as a service and dedication to my motherland Goa.
NIZ GOENKAR is neither money oriented nor after funds’ collection, let me be very clear and this is a clear cut message to all my dear Goans who have got the impression that Niz Goenkar has started a money campaign. NO, this is just not true as we do not need your money but what we do need is your support to clean up the corrupt system in Goa.
I do not have any intention of joining politics or forming a political party. This is not in my “principles” that I follow. Yes we the Goans can be a powerful tool to evict the corrupt and do away with corruption and have a glorious Goa back on track.
Niz Goenkar does not need any money or any funds to be raised. So it is one clear message that we do not need your money and no one on behalf of Niz Goenkar may collect funds. If at all anybody does it then be it known that the same is not authorized by me or any of my Team member.
I do not want to be a minister and as such question of forming a party does not arise and since question of forming a party does not arise, so also the question of collecting funds does not arise. But we can certainly support clean and good candidates to come up without doing anything wrong.
At the same time we can still fight the corrupt and corruption in Goa through Niz Goenkar. For that you can be members of Niz Goenkar and join me in this fight against the wrong going on in Goa. Media and expression are the most powerful tools that are mighty enough to bring crashing down a mountain.
So Goans come forward speak out, do not keep silent as silence is taken as our weakness if necessary take to the streets to clean out the mess that is created by the present politicians. But above all awaken, and hearken the call of all the Niz Goenkars if you want to see a change in Goa. Let us change the system which is presently made up of dumb and illiterate fools who are trying to pull wool over our eyes.
The problem with us is that we the Goans are not ready to see the reality on the ground and just turn a blind eye to the situation waiting for someone else to do it. We do not have to join politics to get things right but can do it with our power that we have as citizens of a democratic country even though the democracy is not a proper one. We can even get our democracy back on the right track. Because we do not act or see the reality, the untoward elements in the society take the advantage to suit their own ends.
Please note Niz Goenkar and its team has never made any appeal for funds for any social or political Gains. If there is anyone out there who has made any such appeal in the name of Niz Goenkar I would be grateful to know the names and address of those involved.
So before winding up my small article of clarification concerning money, I would request as many Goans to be Niz Goenkars and raise your voice like it has happened in Egypt, Tunisia etc and create a new Goa by discarding the old rogues. This is in our hands to get the necessary changes done. We have to strive for a clean, honest and non corrupt Goa and a perfect communal harmony that once existed and this can only be achieved by each and every Goan coming together putting aside their personal differences.

I salute you Mr. Menino de Valpoi, this is what I expected from you. Now Niz Goenkar is on the right track. This is the best way to tackle the problem faced by Goa. I admire your courage and remember I am always with you.
ReplyDeleteMr. Menino you are doing a fantastic job and needs to be applauded. Where most failed you succeeded in getting Goans together with your love and kindness for one and all Goans. This site is a blessing in disguise where we can burst out our sentiments and our mind. I once again thank you for your noble values and principles.
ReplyDeleteWell said Niz Goenkar I fully agree with you. Money is the root of all evil. The right persons should be away from money. What you have said that we can use this media Niz Goenkar to fight against the corrupt of Goa is absolutely right. If all the Goans come forward to express themselves we can chase the rogues out of their chairs.
ReplyDeleteMenino,
ReplyDeleteI always knew that this trick of collecting funds would never get NG anywhere. There were some bad elements, but the article you have written now should have come out some time before the NG reputation was already damaged. Still, you have done the right thing and I will have plenty of comments tomorrow to support you full heartedly. Viva Menino and Viva Niz Goenkar!
Menino I have been introduced to Niz Goenkars by a Goan Hindu priest who admires the site. Money tends to be the root of all evil, look at our current politicians they all started with good intentions what happened next is history, they have competed each other to be rich Quick. Thank God we have a person like you running a site for the love of Goa. There are many Good Goans on the ground that can lead Goa to a better future, but are laid back Yes Goa needs a third stronger party that has to come from within Goa. If such a party comes up I will support it for the better of Goa. I do not count on our so called freedom fighters, they are puppets of Congress and BJP, and they never intended and will not die for Goa.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you and keep the good work flowing, site like Niz Goenkar can keep a check on Goan affairs.
Mr.Menino de Valpoi..you are indeed a great man who has done what a lot of people only talk but do nothing...You will always be in my prayers....And yes im willing to come down to Goa anytime if we all decide to protest against misrule just as the mighty Egyptians....
ReplyDeleteThank God it has come out from the horse’s mouth; having heard all talk about money my mind is now at rest. Fighting these political pigs can de done with unity from the heart. Humans do change but I do not see our current Political Chors changing, they are deeply rooted in corruption and crime. We have highly educated persons on Goan soil who can take these illiterate politicians head to head. All that is needed is support from Goans who want to see a better future for their loved ones. Can we make a change like Tunisia, Egypt and now Bahrain?
ReplyDeleteGood article Sir and I feel it has come out of your heart. You are a simple and genuine person. Your simplicity is beyond words of praise. This is exactly what we were looking for. I was against the idea of Niz Goenkar forming a party. But you are a courageous man who could say no to power, riches since you value the reality more than anything. May God bless you. Let us unite and fight against these dolts in Goa.
ReplyDeleteThere are many ways changes can be brought into Goa, Take a look at Tunisia and Egypt it is people’s power that brought the governments down. Niz Goenkar site should be awareness and awakening site for all Goans. The crumb eaters of Goa need to be awakened too, the political goons that support the illiterate politicians mainly from the south can be defeated. Peoples Power and not money must be the answer, Money has corrupted the Goan civil infrastructure. Menino God bless You for your efforts.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that this article will clear the air and doubts from many minds. Yes, we can do it without being politicians, we can make a change just by educating people that political crumb eating is not good for health and the future of Goa. Viva Menino, Viva Niz Goenkar!
ReplyDeleteMenino de valpoi you make me proud brother! I really do not know which elements are trying to bring a bad image on your works , however do not worry , its the world we live in, good works and success always will attract negative elements. Menino ,you being drawn to the hearts and minds of many! And yes as DLP has mentioned it good that you have come out with a strong clarification.
ReplyDeleteMy only advice to all members of Niz-Goenkar and readers to spread the word of this site across to your freinds and in your villages as ANAND DESAI said, if our brethern Hindu Priest got impressed with this site I am sure and definate rest of the people would realise the important of this awareness to save our Goa.
ReplyDeleteIt is high and pick time Menino, to carry on this our mission and not to fall back realising the critics that are following us. Remember, there is evil thing follows after every good deeds of human.
Let's not give up, spread the news as I have emailed and posted on Facebook about this site to all my Goan freinds those who are settled across the world.
Dear Sir Menino, I was very worried that you were joining politics and forming a party. Deep inside I knew you would not. This article has relaxed me and our other friends some of whom are your students and the rest lovers of Niz Goenkar. We are with you all the way in your good work.
ReplyDeleteA great article which clears our minds of all the doubts. Do not worry Mr. Menino we are with you and so are all the Goans in Goa irrespective of caste and creed.
ReplyDeleteThis is a clear indication yet that the voice of Niz Goenkars is beginning to make an impact and that the 'forces' that are threatened have begun making moves to divide and destroy the 'Niz Geonkar' movement. This is the stark reality that we all need to wake up to and guard against. Menino not doubt stands tall as a true goan and there would not be a better tribute to his efforts and Goa than renewing the fight and guarding against these 'dark' forces. They are likely to try something even stronger next. Goan brothers, Let us fight it to the finish now !!!
ReplyDeleteThis was exactly my view of Niz Goenkar I say I must agree with most of the commentators. Mr. Menino you are doing a wonderful job as is. Do not venture into this dirt. It will soil you and we shall lose Niz Goenkar. Of course you can always support good candidates.
ReplyDeleteNiz Goenkar is Niz Goenkar and will not be anything else. At least that is what I know and feel deep inside. Niz Goenkar is here to fight against the corrupt and not to be amongst the corrupt. The day, even if one rupee is collected, we will be responsible to answewr for it. We will not be any different from these current chors whom we are fighting, but we will be one of them. do we want to be so???? I will shy away from all that baba Menino. I hope that at least now everyone will know understand what Niz Goenkar stands for! Viva Niz Goenkar and Viva Menino!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe should have an Opinion Poll "if we want to retain all Portuguese name for Roads, Buildings and Villages" with a simple yes or no.
ReplyDeleteThis will clear the minds of every one, and in future no one will bother us. The same way the Opinion pole of the 1967 where our parents said yes to stay separate from the rest of the UNION of INDIA. If not for that Opinion pole till today there would be some idiots who would like us to be a state integrated with God knows what state, for E:G. as there are lot of Karnataka's some would say Goa belongs to Karnataka, they would even go further to say as there are lot's of Biharies, let's join BIHAR our BAIYAS and so on. For MGP Maharashtra would always be an open option. Thanks to the opinion pole we don't have this problem anymore.
Our Problem with some crooks like Flaviano and some crooked Freedole Farters, they will always come up with this topics regarding names. WE have to have an Opinion Pole to solve and stop this nuisance once and for all. After that we can have an Opinion Pole for an Independent GOA: Step by Step.
Mog asundi
Who says we needs money when unity cannot be bought? Unity cannot be hired. It is only the crumb eaters of politicians that take money and other gifts for votes. The politicians who offer money in exchange for votes must be charged for encouraging bribery, and crumb eaters for excepting bribes. Menino you have a clean sheet and keep it that way.
ReplyDeleteThank you for what you do Sir Menino. I thank you for your courage as there are days when I am sure you get threats to silence you. I also know that this must take so much time and dedication in providing this forum to vent and possibly move the masses to wake up like they did in Egypt. I am hoping the more we write about the true story of Goa we will bring about Change. You provide the alternate story of Goa, stories that the Herald are too scared to report and do a terrible injustice to our Goa. Mediums like yours allow the truth to be told. And like what happened in Egypt the Internet brought about freedom for the people. I believe all who write in have already made an impact. We all have to do our part if we want to bring about Change….I hope you don’t mind, but I dream of seeing you as Governor of Goa. You have the vision and love for our people. You would make such a good honest nizgoenkar Governor. Sorry, I just had to say that.Take care!
ReplyDeleteDear Menino, It takes immense pleasure in reading your clarification on the money matters. I too agree with all the commentators that money is the root of all evil dealings. I am sure that due to some miscreants are spreading the wrong rumors about the site and the Niz Goenkar team, you had to take such a drastic step. Now your team of Niz Goenkar will have to shoulder more responsibilities in cost. This is definitely an extra burden on their heads. But now the ideas of Niz Goenkar are purely transparent for freedom from these corrupt politicians. Now these corrupt politicians will try to pump in more and more money to see they are elected in the next election and their motives are to get more and more rich, famous and powerful by demonstrating that money can be used to restore the minds of the voters. Anyway, as this is a major issue, our prayers should go for the Moderator and his team members of Niz Goenkar for bearing and maintaining such responsibility in attaining our goals. Here the motives of NG is pure in heart and can bear good fruits. May the Almighty God protect your team and your families with good health, wealth and prosperity. And this gesture of goodwill will definitely be remembered and written in history books to be cherished by all Niz Goans for the future generations to come. VIVA GOA, VIVA NIZ GOENKAR.
ReplyDeleteHa!HA!!HA!! I just received an email from Menino with comments from someone who is cent percent from Chorchill's camp. Chorchill must be shitting in his pants and trying to blabber like he always does. Let the arsehole go and quit. Niz Goenkar is going to win without money. We don't need "Choranche Duddu". As long as your heart is clean, that is enough for us. FO Chorchil and his crony who has sent this comment. I he had any gurs, he would have come out in the open with his real name and ID. Hit the dust and eat the dust, you idiot!!!
ReplyDeleteTrevor and Franco and Shyam and all the supportes of Niz Goenkar.... thank you for all the support. We will fight as one Niz Goenkar. Someone, a Chorchill crumb eater (or maybe Chorchill himself or his lawyer daughter) He has responded to Trevor. I am sure Trevor is making them piss and shit in their pants at the same time. They don't have guts to come out in the open witrh their real names and ID's.
ReplyDeleteI will keep on fighting for Niz Goeankr, no matter what! Viva Niz Goenkar! Down with Chorchill and his crumb eaters for we are the jolly good fellows. The Niz Goenkars!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Goans: I appreciate your view "Money is Evil" but do not weigh everyone in the same scale. To throw this chors out we require party and the reason is if we support an independent candidate then he might shift to other camp as happen before. If the party is formed then the Candidates are stayed as members of the party and no post should be given to them of the party cause they will merge the party as how Monsterat did. And to form a party funds are required, simple law no party will run without funds. Save Goa party was formed by Churchill but BJP financed them to break the catholic votes. Save Goa merged with congress due to funds. In my opinion we goans should form a party our own Regional party and Third Front, this is the only way to replace the chors.
ReplyDeleteAlso this is just a mere discussion and not any negative comment. I am available for discussion on this topic in a polite way, remember I am not against anyone but this is my belief if anyone one wants to discuss with me why is welcome. And I hope Nizgoekar will put my comments for discussion
Thank you Nizgoenkar Menino for putting my comments.
ReplyDeleteEveryone says "GOA FOR GOANS" but when we will say "GOANS FOR GOA". Goa always was kind to Goans when its time for Goans to be kind to Goa then they turn the back. Thats the reason why I say it should be " Goans for Goa"
Dear Menino: Can you please let the whole comentators know the reason why you wrote this and who said what to you, it should be told to all Goans about the two monkeys of Swindon & why I call them "Swindon's Ghantti" cause they came to swindon and saw the pounds for the first time in their life. I challenge them for discussion with me, those 2 morons
History of Goan politics:
ReplyDeleteAfter doing so much for Goa Dr. Jack Sequeira lost the election and from that day he never contested the election, why? the people backstabbed him due to money. This man has given identity for Goa and he was dumped by Goans.Do you guys think that they will help Nizgoenkar?
At present Goans have 30-40 percent outsiders, and most of the Goans have gone abroad with portuguese passport, so they can't vote. The NRI's can vote but some will not come during election time. So where is the force for Goa.
Currently the 10 % of Goans are like the commentators on the blog and the rest are the crumb eaters of the politicians, so this is also a factor
Some Goans do not have net facility so how they will come to know about nizgoenkar, some of them do not sit on the blog.
The politicians have men X he is fed with the notes, 30 % goes in his pocket. There are his friends A,B C, etc they are given their share, this is another factor as how the politicians keep their people
Mr. P. Cruz, I think you are wrong there. Niz Goenkar has already come in limelight in Goa after participating with banners, in the rally of Advocates. The clip can be seen on Niz Goenkar site. Please check. This is the best way for people to know about Niz Goenkar.
ReplyDeleteNothing in my life gives me happiness other than when I call myself a NIZ GOENKAR. Mr Menino keep on doing the good work and ignore the ones who back stab you as they are coward to face the truth. We are here always to help you in case an emergency arise. we are true blooded Goans and ready to fight for justice .
ReplyDeleteI fully support P cruz view that for Niz goenkar to succeed we need a party and financial power. I read about the peoples power in Tunisia and Egypt. But it should be noted that this was not without a party 'push' and this did not happen with no financial backing. There were banners at the advocates rally in Goa, but Niz Goenkar means true goan, did anybody explain to those that are not internet savvy what this actually stood for. We need to spread the word outside the blog site and for this we need to get together and start a party and for this we need finance. I agree with Menino that money is the cause of all evil, but then I doubt that in these modern times will anything take place without financial backing. Goans are already a minority in Goa. And educated Goans in Goa are just a handful. To throw the 40 chors out you will surely need money power, that only will sway the analphabet Goans away from them.
ReplyDeleteWe are known as Niz Goenkar (two words) and not as Nizgoenkar (this does not make any sense to me) and we the Core members and our full hearted supporters, the true Niz Goenkars know it. So let us stick to Niz Goenkar and fight for our Goa.
ReplyDelete@Pio Antao: Yes mate you are correct, in Egypt there were opposition party backing them and they will form the next Government. In a Democratic Country Anyone can form a Party and I am going to Form a Party to replace this chors. It is my birth right to form a Party with like mined people and no one can stop anyone. If someone want to be a part of it let him be or someone wants to contribute let him contribute. I have lot of plans and I have lot of people who supports me, with their ideas also we will go ahead and we will name the Party (a suitable Name) . I respect Menino and others, Menino, Dlp, etc are my friends and will be my friends forever and I will be a Nizgoenkar forever, but my ways are different and I will go the way my heart tells me to do. I will write articles on the blog and will comment on the blog and will be Nizgoenkar till I die.
ReplyDeleteMenino and all the Goans, I appeal to you everyone have their own rights, so with this in a Democratic country I and like minded people will form the party and your blessings are required. This does not mean that we are not Niz Goenkars, and it will be great if all of you support it not financially but by your heart.
No I do not agree with Pio Antao or P. Cruz, as Sir Menino has got his good reputation. It was a wise decision on his part not to join politics. Secondly if he is not joining politics there will not be another leader like him Honest and Principled to lead the Party. Some are just enthusiasts but have no administrative Ideas. I am going to inform my friends who are also his students to comment on this issue. I fully agree that Niz Goenkar should not join the politics. Good work can be done without joining the politics. Mr. Cruz why don't you form your own party and join politics? If I am not mistaken you are one of the members of Niz Goenkar and do not destroy your reputation. Stick to what you are doing at present that is the best for you and Niz Goenkar.
ReplyDeleteGoan Observer and former Herald Editor Mr. Rajan Narayan is also contesting election, so he must have got fed up with writing and now he is in the fray. It is his birth right to contest the election or form a party.
ReplyDeleteWell Nisha I fully endorse your views. Sir should not be running after politics. It is good and best thing that we have Niz Goenkar to fight against evils of the society. Honestly I would say that I was too happy that Sir is not interested in joining politics and forming a Party. We the present generation should use this forum to bring people on the streets and fight for our rights. This cannot be done by joining politics. So far whoever has joined politics have turned sour and have become corrupt in no time. Examples are right in front of our eyes.
ReplyDelete@Nisha and Sumitra: I would not agree more on this. You two have said what I wanted to say. But I would ask Mr. Cruz to change his views about dragging Niz Goenkar into the dirty world of Goan Politics. No sir, politics are not for Niz Goenkar. If system can be cleaned by joining politics then there would have been hundreds of parties formed in Goa. This is madness. Please do not feel bad as this is our opinion from our minds.
ReplyDeleteNisha Pednekar : Yes I am the member of the Niz Goenkar but I will not force you, your friends or Menino to join politics. I respect Menino and I respect his sentiments. As I have said I will form our own Party and I have lot of people who support me, we will not name it Niz Goenkar but we will come with a name shortly. If P. Cruz or Menino or someone is not there, that means its not the end of the world, I have been living with the goans kunbis, Adivasi, etc and I ate with them and drank their water and I know what is better for Goa. You Nisha if this your correct identity you just speak out about your mind, but you should respect other people views. I will be with Niz Goenkar but my ways are different and I do not care for my reputation, My family knows my reputation, my neighbours knows my reputation, my relatives know my reputation and I am answerable to the Almighty God. If you know our plans then you would not have said what you have spoken today, Menino is like my brother and you are like my sister. No worries I will fight untill I can hold. Viva Nizgoenkar
ReplyDeleteNisha I do not have regret for your comments, if you want more information about the plans please ask my mail Id to Menino
Fiona Furtado : please give some chance to other people do not weigh all the people in same scale. I have not decide to stay as a candidate, but we will make other people candiates and good candidates. Menino and Niz Goenkar should remain where they are I am not pushing them please clear your mind. And by the way I am also NIz Goenkar
ReplyDeleteAs Lokmanaya Tilak have said "Swaraj is my Birth Right" so for me forming a political party is my birth right. Just I and the like minded people require your blessing and give the people a chance to be good MLA's.You go the way you like but for me I will go the way I like and try to bring good administration in Goa and clean government, whether I suceed or not thats another case. If there are no politicians then there should be a Governor Rule but in a democartic country you require government of people and by the people. Otherwise there should be a king who will rule Goa.
Mog Assundi
What I do not understand is that why people want Niz Goenkar to join politics and fight against corruption. Are there no other ways to fight against corruption and make Goa a better place to live in. Politics is an open field those who are interested in joining politics can do so. Personally I feel that I can raise my voice through niz goenkar and make a difference. It appears that some of the commentators are more interested in joining politics and clearing the mess or may be to do the same what the present bunch of fools are doing. This is ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteNisha, I at no point said that Menino has to join politics, it is his own wish not to. What I meant that we need to have a party of Niz Goencars, it need not even be of the same name - but then it has to be supported by like minded people, and those like minded people on this forum. And to form a party you need money and do not get me in the wong sense, money not for bribing the people, but money to set up an office , organise rallys etc. Nothing happens without money these days. That is a fact. Nothing will happen if if only continue blogging. We have to let the common man (Goan) know what we want to achieve in Goa. i know of very genuine Goans with the best intention at heart, bite dust in the recently concluded muncipal elections. Why?
ReplyDeleteParable of Jesus:
ReplyDeleteThere was a prostitute and a god fearing Neighbour. when the women came out and when the neighbour saw her he used to think lot of bad things about her and everytime he used to curse her. So, Alcantro Carneiro do not become like the prostitue neighbour, do not corrupt your mind, I have all the required power to answer your critics. I love critics they have a job to judge others
Mog Assundi
@ Alcantro - To fight corruption we need to throw out the 40 chors. Right. And replace them with whom? Who is better than Niz goenkars - true Goans with the same priciples - To make our Goa Glorious and golden again.
ReplyDeleteTo All : I am not asking Menino to join Politics. First of all he is Goan but with Portuguese Passport and he cannot be a voter so he does not have right to contest election or have any post in the party. Please people put my Brother Menino of staying in politics out of your mind, this is clarification.
ReplyDeleteBut we are forming a party with other name which will be released later and require support from Goans for a change.
One stratergy I will inform you if we have enough money, we will distribute free medicines to the needy people and a Hospital for Cancer and Heart operation for Goans. These are our dreams, lot of dreams are sucessful but some are in drain lets hope for something, plus more plans which cannot put on the blog right now, but surely will be later
@ pio Antao:There are lot of people who wants a 3rd front in Goa and abroad. And if this is formed I want you to join it and also we will definetly get support from Niz Goenkar, I know Menino he will help us and he knows me very well also lot of core members I met them, some are afraid of bad name they will recieve and I respect them.
ReplyDeleteIf we form a Party I will declare my assets to the public and will ask all the members to do the same. So thats how the transperancy will be done and anyone can check it may be CBI, etc.The is solution for any problem!
Yes P. Cruz, As long as you form a clean and honest Party and run everything following your principles that you follow which till now matches mine, I shall support you wholeheartedly.
ReplyDeleteJust do it in the way you want it to be done but in the same principles that you follow till now. A clean and honest political party and a clean and honest politician, and you will be supported strongly by Niz Goenkar - Menino de Valpoi
Thanks Menino and I appreciate all your efforts,we require a change and thats how I will change with my writings and I promise to you that I will be the same as I am at present, no change only the change will be my age. I know your blessing is always with me, Nisha, Swati..... I Require your blessing and also the people like minded us, if I suceed I will be happy and not suceed I will be little happy cause I tried my best to do it in my way
ReplyDeleteI spoke to Mr. Menino as we both are in UK it was a long chat. He has explained to me a lot of fact evolving around and I could say that based on our talk that those who plan to betray the cause of Niz Goenkar should only dream about it. And plus reading all the comments above I have come to know what kind of some people are who try to fool the sincere ones. We being Hindus of Goan origin are in full support of Niz Goenkar and Mr. Menino. It is shameful that Mr. P. Cruz is trying to expose the whereabouts of Mr. Menino by exposing his personal information that he is holding Portuguese Passport or citizenship. Let me tell you Mr. P. Cruz I am also holding Portuguese Passport and citizenship but that does not deter me from fighting for Goa through this blog. And I know that Niz Goenkar has made a lot of change in Goa. The politicians and the police are caught in a tight situations due to Niz Goenkar.
ReplyDeleteMenino do not worry because of a few people, we are all with you and our support will now be more stronger than ever. I have been a regular commentator here on the site and will always be. I will never leave this site at any cost. I say VIVA NIZ GOENKAR
ReplyDelete@ Shyam Sawant: Why you want to lit some fire? all details of Menino are on the blog. I did not try to expose his details, if he has any complain he could have called me or send me mail. Please do not fall in between us , I respect you and if Menino has any complains he wuld have blocked my comments and replied me back. And I want all Goans should fight for our cause including the people having Portuguese passport. Please correct yourself, I have no any intention to expose Menino.
ReplyDeleteI feel that his forum should not be used to fight personal differences, respect all for the cause of Goa.
ReplyDelete@ Shyam Sawant: Please do not talk about religion. All Goans Hindus, Muslim, Christian are same, there is no difference in it. You are going out of the topic, talk about this topic please. And if you have any problem please contact me in person and my mail ID is with Menino if you want you can have it. I will clarify everything to you, if you want to know the truth. And I have lot of affection to Menino and I will always support him for good cause, but I also have my own principles which I cannot compromise.
ReplyDeleteMog Assundi
Dear Sandesh yes publicity should be there and its nice to have banners, etc that is the way how to go for it. But this banners will not last long once the rally is done the banners will be gone. I am also a Nizgoenkar its not that I am an outsider but we should create an impact in the Goans heart and change them, there should be some stratergy how to fight if we do not want a party. I know my self the people who hold the Banner will not come for second time to hold it again, unless he is core Nizgoenkar, I have been in this situation. One small story which was told in our Church..... There was a priest in one church and very much devoted, he had 6 more priest who were loyal to him and worked day night to get all the people realise that God is above all things. They all started preaching for long time and after some years they had 90% of the population obeying to the word of God. Now all the 7 priest realised that the work is done and they hold a big thanksgiving mass in the church compound. 6 of the main priest were present and one of the priest was missing. They were wodering why the priest was missing for the mass. The people gathered in large numbers more then 20,000 and the main priest started the mass, the mass was going and the preaching was going very well. Suddenly one masked man came with AK 47 rifle and lot of ammunition on the stage, he went on the stage and stop the prist preaching, took the Mic and said " people those who want their life go away right now or I will fire bullets in your body and those who support the 7 Priest can stay behind and take my bullets in the heart". Hearing this all the people started running away, only the 6 priest stayed and 5-10 people stayed to take the bullets. When all the unfaithfull are gone the Mask men removed his mask, he was the missing priest and said to the head Priest " The unfaithfull has gone and the faithful are here, so start preaching". This is what happened in our blog when Bebdo put up the article, the main priest was Menino and the 6 priest were his core members and the missing priest was Bebdo. Atleast the masked man had seperated the faithful and unfaithful!
ReplyDeleteThe comments have passed well over half a century. But one question to all can we GOANS unite to save Goa from the clutches of our corrupt Ministers?
ReplyDelete@Gurudas:Yes we can unite I will be the first one who will do that. for unity we have to be selfless and do all the things in right way, also more cordination should be the main part, more people have to be brough into confidence, listen to all the people and then take a decision and the main important thing is not to be selfish.
ReplyDeleteDear Menino (Babush) i remember a similar related article, discussing where it was said someone was felt betrayed by 2 close friends who he had helped in their time of need, but turned away when you really needed their help,
ReplyDeleteMy Fellow Goenkars, Niz Goenkar is not a Charity Organization nor is it there to make Money, Money when mixed with everything else is Evil, but Money still has its purpose and use. We are all here, because we have a Common Cause, that one Goal in our lifetime that will make Goa, the way we always dreamt it to be, to Make Goa belong to the True Goans and Goa for Goans and Goans for Goa, and eradicate Corruptions!
But we also have to look at the brighter side, certain things do cost money as well, things don’t happen for Free, we Goans have to come out of this Mentality, that whenever someone is doing something, Tou Poix kuru sodta (He’s Trying to Make Money) mentality, rather stand united and fight the cause!
But me as a Niz Goenkar, if I have to make a Small Contribution to the Cause, as today nothing comes Free and I know that, I Gladly and Proudly will do!
United we stand and that is how we have instilled fear in the hearts of the rogues. There is a lot that can be accomplished without getting into politics. In fact by getting into politics there is a bigger chance of becoming like one among the forty thieves. I guess the current bunch must have made tall promises when they were getting into the ring. In reality they make tall promises before every election and we can see how much they have accomplished till date.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that we also need to look at the prospect of having new faces represent us and strive to bring Goa to its former glory. Since we have already pitched in our support for Pausilip and Dr. Hubert we have to be in it for all the others as well. We have to support P. Cruz and all the other candidates with good intentions and the drive to work for the betterment of Goa and Goans. They are our hope and we should put our efforts to see these candidates through.
Finally candidates are cautioned that when you succeed in the elections work towards the goal you have set yourself. Do not let the claps turn to slaps. Niz Goenkar and all the Goans will be watching you and if you don’t deliver then God save you from the people’s fury.

At the moment my heart is literally crying for what is happening on this blog. The wind of change is blowing somewhere else and the ship is sailing elsewhere. Whatever the reasoning, I hope it will not drift us deeper and deeper in the seven seas in more controversial circumstances where there is no point of return. I hope you all understood my message and pray that we get to see the shore sooner the better. I hope all the misunderstandings are cleared in good spirit. On a second thought I too agree with P. Cruz and few likeminded commentators that to put any plan forward in a prospective way and to set to its right place, we need resource without which no one can survive in this present day. Money talks, money walks and money doesn’t sleep everything got its own value and interest. At present we need good leaders, whether it is Menino or P. Cruz or whoever leads us in the right prospective way irrespective of his being in Goa or elsewhere, so let us unite together to support him or her to achieve our goal.
ReplyDeleteWith the present state of circumstances, preachers go on preaching, dreamers will go on dreaming while the politicians will be politicizing each and every issue and looting and the builders of Mega projects will go on destroying our golden Goa without any respite to our mother land. Un-justice governance and corruption is all around us and unrest everywhere, to which we require to remedy it instead of fighting among ourselves. Hope by the present development, we do not dishearten our true feelings for what we are fighting for.
I hope our unity, new ideas, diversity and tolerance will take us forward in our new revolution otherwise it will like the song “que sera sera, what will be happen will happen” and with our mouths wide open the outcome subsequently be that we will be lose everything. Please don’t let this happen to all our generous people.
Dear John and Franco :
ReplyDeleteI was in Goa for 4-5 months doing the ground work and I have managed to talk most of the NGO's and like minded people to unite and form a party, most of them have agreed and I am still working on plans. One more things I do not have any intention to become a Politicians and not sure if I will contest, I keep it later. But I have met lot of good people in Goa who are able candidates qualities. I may take a post in the party to see the good Governance in the Party is followed thats for sure. We have planned a stratergy and in progress, at present I am out of India for some reason, but my contact are going on with the people in Goa. As soon as more things are finalised I will put everything on our NIz Goenkar blog.
One more thing I can work as a office boy in the Party the post or something does not matter for me, only my dedication to Goa will be there always.
@P. Cruz
ReplyDeleteWhich Passport do you hold? is this the Passport from the Invaders that let you hold public office in GOA? The Freedole Farters should fight for the Goans who due to their Original Portuguese Passport can't be a part of Goa. What a shame, shame on everyone who consider Goans with Portuguese passport as foreigner in their own land. The Goans who hold Indian Passport in Goa are all traitors and Foreigners.
I always ask my self, what would have happened if all Goans would stay in Goa with a Portuguese passport!!, would the Invader Nehru throw all the Goans away from Goa? Would this be allowed by the UNO: By taking the Portuguese Passport no Goans are denouncing GOA but denouncing only the invaders.
Pedro : Is there any sense in you what passport you are talking about, who said Portuguese passport holders are no Goans. For your kind information portuguese Passport holders can't vote or hold anything in Goa as per the Indian Rule. My family members have Portuguese Passport and are in portugal as well in England, something must be wrong in your head. Here we talk about something and you talk something else.
ReplyDeleteAny way come with clear ideas....ha....ha...... get a plan how to work, what you want and put it down on the forum, let the people see what you can do for Goa and I will support you if any of your plans are good for Goa. Some people only talk a lot
@P. Cruz, @ Perdro Lopes, Ami Goenkar, lets not get into petty things here, I’ve read both your comments more then twice, think there is only a clear case of
ReplyDeleteMiscommunication / Misunderstanding here, P. Cruz can’t blame you too cause if you see Perdro’s first line, am sure most of us would react the way you did, but Perdro too has a point and somewhere both of you are on the same line just interpreted differently. Anyways we Niz Goenkars have your backs…
P. Cruz, I salute you for your Ideas and Things you are doing, if it’s for GOA, I’m 100% here to back you… Amchem Goem Amkam Zai… Viva!
I second you, I'm ready to support P. Cruz too, its the least I can do for our goa. Get your plans in action.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this war of words going on for a long time and there is only one defender who is defending Bebdo as if he is his body guard. Why does it matter to Bebdo when Menino is not interested in collecting funds and making a party? The site is a wonderful gift for Goans and my opinion is that it should not be used for personal gains. In many comments of the different commentators, the feel is unanimous, we need a change and the change could be the education imparted by Niz Goenkar. I live in a village and never came across someone who told me they know Niz Goenkar blog or party. So it is high time that the message of Niz Goenkar to clean up dirty politics should be ultimate rather than the blog becomes a party. You can do it elsewhere when people see Niz Goenkar as a medium of education and not a party.
ReplyDeleteEducating the Goans about exercising their vote for the betterment of Goa will not bring in any change. Who are you going to vote in the end? If we do not have competent and educated representatives from within us, how are we going to bring in the necessary changes? We need to have a party as this will show we mean business. It need not be in the name of Niz Goenkar nor endorsed by Menino. This forum will act as the watchdog and and all the people here will question the decisions taken by our elected representatives. We will discuss issues and suggest ideas which will be received in good faith and implemented in due course. Currently decisions are made for us by illeterate juvenile idiots without considering our intentions and our needs. Airport at Mopa, Cricket Stadium in Tivim and many more such decisions were taken without consulting the general public. Our elected representatives will work to sort these issues out and clear the mess created by CHORCHILL,BAILOT KAMAT AND THE REMAINING A@#H!*%S

Dear Brother Menino i would like to commend you and your other NG core team for doing such a great job, at least you got people talking. After reading the above comments of Mr. Cruz and our other Goenkar brothers it made me little sad the way our focus went away from the real Problem.
ReplyDeleteI am very surprised and confused that you are not forming a party to tackle the menace of corruption and corrupt politicians. I understand that you want to awaken the Susegad Goans but without going on the Ground how will you manage that we have just a fraction of our Goans who are aware of NG Blog,
How will the Goan people who are not Computer Literate and dont have Internet be made aware?
I therefore firmly believe that we have to form something concrete on the ground and go to the Villages and cities of Goa and hold meetings and make people aware of our motives, this is the best way we can make the people of Goa aware.
Money is another issue i think, i also understand that without money no party can function, if that is the issue there will be definately a lot of People who are willing to contribute in their small way, these big parties we see today were not built overnight.
I really dont know why you backed off from forming a party i would be glad if you could let me know the reason because the people of Goa have no real alternative bow besides CONGRESS and the BJP.
If we dont go ahead and form a party we Niz Goenkars will be viewed just like the drunkads who sit in the bars and after 2 pegs start yapping as if they are the Tigers of Goa and as soon as the booze gets over, they come to their senses and go with their tail between their legs.
Mog Asundi
Dear UskoGoenkar & others: Sorry as I am in a remote place of Africa at present and the access to net is not good but when its there I will be on the blog. I will be in Goa after 1 month and the preparation and contact are going on also there are people working on day & night. Even Menino is doing woderful things by this blog as the Shiv Sena has "Samnaa", Mauvin Godhino is going to inagurate his own TV channel now, Tarun Bharat for BJP, etc, etc. and we should have our own Newspaper be it Niz Goenkar or something and this hard copies of the article and comments should be published in Goa and handed in every church, this way we can bring an upcoming.
ReplyDeleteAlso at present we are working to have a big rally trying to be organised at Azad Maidan by all the NGO's of Goa and all villagers tentatively 15th or 16th March at 02:30 hrs. Here we plan to 20,000 goans on street and may be there are some decision to form a party if all say ready to Go. This meeting is to fight against Goonda Raj and Mafia Raj in Goa. We are trying to arrange buses from all the villages in Goa almost 100 to 150 buses to transport. We have a budget of Rs. one lac towards buses, speakers, stage, chairs, etc. and one friend of mine already sponsored Rs. 50,000 thousand who will give directly to the orgnising committee, it will not go into my habds and that is clear. Here I do not want your money or anyone money, but please attend the meeting and even Niz Goenkar will support it, aslo send mesage to everyone. Exact date I will inform to you on this blog.

Well said, Mrkgz. I hope we can unite as one. I love the american saying 'United we Stand, Divided we Fall'. As our dear Sir Menino has said, it was a misunderstanding. I believe Mr P Cruz had good intensions. Unfortunately Money in Goa has been used to keep people down and so a lot of people are sensitive to the issue. But Money can also to used to do good. We have had great leaders before, like our Dr Jack Sequeira, lets give people a chance. If a mistake was made, it is so minor compared to the damage that is being done in Goa every second of the day. I urge our people not to fight with our own, if we believe we are all on the same page. We need many soldiers, if we are to win this fight. If we have issues let us debate them, as our dear Sir Menino has given us this forum to do so, without personally attacking one and other. A lot of us feel we are willing to give up so much for the cause, but then my heart sinks when I see the in-fighting. This is exactly what the traitors in Goa want. They do not want us to succeed………….. To Mrkgz, I encourage you to look into the GRA movement. I believe it is the new hope for OUR Goa. I know a lot of movements have come and gone and have used the people, but we must give this group a chance. At least I can say, it is being run by intelligent people. Who knows, we may even have another Dr Sequeira waiting in the midst.
ReplyDeleteSalude Babush, with you all the way! I dreamt of something like this as far as my Memory can think…. And its Finally happening, what we will do in our Life Time, our Children and Generations to come will be Grateful and Thankful to us, we are the Modern Fighters for Goa… Viva Goa…
