Why are the ornaments of such values in the first place kept in a car? Car is not the place to keep ornaments they are either to be worn or to be kept at home in a safe place. This is a false complaint or created theft for some good reason of getting some benefits from insurance company or something. Some people try to fool people just so easily that they think everybody will be fooled.

  2. In this day and age where Goa is an insecure place and criminals are above the Law, why would any person keep a large amount of gold ornaments in the car or any public area?

This guy must be plain "nuts".Perhaps he does not read Newspapers or watch TV about all the burgularies taking place in Goa ...and specially at churches & Temples.
But like Tuslidas Shirodkar states...this could be an insurance scam.

What insane person would keep Gold Ornaments unattended a public area. Insurance scam could be his motive and the police should investigate him.
