A SINCERE REQUEST by Ashlon A. Fernandes, Nuvem

I was greatly shocked when the local MLA of Navelim organised a grand ceremony to celebrate the completion of a local bridge. Thousands of people went on the roads with the main purpose of displaying the flags and jerseys of his football club.
Later on, a concert in Konkani was organised. No doubt people ‘benefit’ from it, it would be a good gesture if the money was spent, on improvisation of our roads, which are in a very bad condition. Through this letter, I am also requesting all other MLA’s to stop doing ‘tamashas’. The people of Goa today want real development, and I am one of the thousands of Goan youth, who is fed up of corruption.

  1. Why is it only in bridges and roads need to be inaugurated by politicians and not an elder from the village? All this is political publicity hoping to be the winner of the next elections. As Ashlon has suggested stop the tamasha and spend the same money for better causes. I would like to see this money used to sponsor poorer Goan students for higher education.

The 2 clowns who would display football shirts / Flags would be Churchill or Mickky.Mickky sponsors teams under BRESOURCES ( his business). The young boys who play for his team get Rs200/= if they win.
Give it a few years moe and I am sure there will be a team sponsored by Valanka.Whether it will be a boys or girls team...that will become apparent later.

Excellent idea spending that money to sponsor poor Goan students for Higer Education but I am sure they would not. What returns would they get from this deed the selfish bastards.

  4. The papa pig and the pepa pig should have come in pigs' masks for the inaugration of a bridge in Navelim as most of the Goans hate to see their ugly faces. Papa pig have taken lakhs of Rupees as commission from the contractors of the bridge. The varca pig is awaiting to swindle crore of Rupees from the National Highways wthl the blessings from the toad of Margao. The people of Goa should send all the 40 thieves to hibernation or all their children will roam in convertable BMW cars with tax payers money.
