MIGRANT WORKER RAPES A MINOR GOAN GIRL

PORVORIM: Mapusa Police today arrested a worker on charges of raping a minor girl at Canca-Parra. In their compliant, the victim’s parents told Mapusa Police that their daughter has been raped by their worker.  The complainant, who is a goldsmith by profession, further stated that their worker Bappi was working and staying with them for a number of years like a family member.
On February 12 night, the accused and the victim slept in one room, while the parents along with their young daughter who is one-and-half-year-old slept in another room.
The complainant further stated that at midnight, the victim came crying to their room and narrated the incident.  Since the accused is a non-Goan and fearing that the police may not register their complaint, they kept mum over the issue.
In the meantime, Bappi left the job and on the advice of their friends, the victim’s parents lodged the complaint with Mapusa Police station on Monday.  Acting swiftly, Mapusa Police arrested Bappi under Section 89 of Child Act and 377 of IPC.

The child's parents are to blame for such in excusable behaviour...While us Goans distrust each other these outsider ghanties only end up raping us.

  2. Well said Neil, These Ghantis are Given Keys of our city, towns and villages. Some of Our ministers sons too commit rapes. In this case the other children must be taken into care and parents charged too. The sooner Goa is cleared of these Ghantis the safer our children will be.

How can the parents of this Minor let a Ghanti share the room with their daughter? Why was a mob law utilised in this case? This minor will have to go through a second ordeal when being questioned by investigators. Goa will soon be called like Delhi, Crime Capital of India.

Goan Governments have neglected the safety of Goans and are busy committing their own crimes, while Ghantis are raping our women and children.

  8. This is the biggest mistake of the parents and for that poor child had to pay a price. Some parents sorry to say like to enjoy and are least bothered about their children. Can this be repaired. And that ghanti!!!!! some one must catch hold of the neck of the Chief Minister of Goa who has brought most of the ghantis into Goa.

  9. This man should be hanged to a tree without any trial, as in the court he will be acquitted by our corrupt judges. Along with him both the parents specially the father of the child must be hanged to a tree. What are you now crying for?

  11. Irresponsible parents, how can they allow their child daughter to sleep with someone else in another room? The parents are to be blamed and not just the worker. However, breach of trust has happened and the worker should be hanged in public.

Don't blame anybody except parents of this grown up girl. Even if they considered this non-goan servant as family member how irrisponsible parents allowed their daughter to share the same room to sleep with the ghanti servant. This is how it works, he developed all the trust with these people and cool one night took full advantage. I totally blame the parents, they did the blunder and poor girl will have to suffer with life long scar which can never be forgotton. We do a something wrong and our children have to pay for. Similar thing happening in many goan homes, for greed fo money we rent rooms like shanties within our compound to these ghantis where their own children have no place to move around nor play and at the end they fall in love and elope with their daughter / sisters. Time is not far when murders will start taking place in our own homes and yet we will never realize.

  13. What the Hell? not even in the right frame of mind would I trust a girl ALONE be it a minor or a major to sleep in the same room a Grown up man would be sharing, what’s wrong with these people, so what if he was with them all these years, would the husband have allowed his wife to sleep ALONE with this man? The poor child will have to suffer the trauma for the rest of her life, and once she realizes it’s a mistakes committed by her own Parents, it will only get worst.

We have allowed these Ghantis in our day to day life, first the ministers and then us, they have been successful in changing the appearance of Goa, Robberies, Rapes, Crime is on the rise as more and more of these people come to Goa, even our Roads & Buildings are turning Red with their Spit all over, thanks to our Ministers, who only need them during the time of their Votes, then dump them for 5 years, and we Goans have to bear the brunt!

It looks like both the parents want enjoy sex, so they make the child sleep with a ghanti, keeping the one and a half year old with them does not make any problem. Both the parents must be sex hungry and the result they have spoiled the future and the life of the young girl. I would suggest that both the parents must be first put in jail for neglecting the child. This just happened like Scarlet Keeling

  15. Such an ugly thing to happen! Why could not the parents have kept the little girl in as separate room of her own if at all they wanted to.....How could one trust a non Goan to this extent. It was bound to happen. We must first blame the parents of the little girl rather than the worker.

  16. My fellow Goans keep on hiring these ghanttis, how can one trust an outsider with their household and specially their children? This is shocking story that I can say that the father of the child must be blamed for this disaster.

  17. As mind lingers in deep thoughts of what the young minor girl could have felt the physical trauma she might have gone through during such ordeal. I sympathize with her from my heart. But the questions arise in my mind (1) How this guy was allowed to be with her during the night. It is like throwing meat to the hungry lions. (2) What was the intention of the parents in doing so was it to gain some favours from this guy or black mail him later. (3) Was there no hesitation, rejection and cry for help during the ordeal or was this act an intentional (4) Why were they so afraid to lodge a formal complaint (5) What is the system in Goa prevailing that even someone cannot make a police complaint just because he is an outsider? Can anyone from outside the State come to Goa and rape and go scot free without being punished for committing this heinous act? We cannot blame this guy because it is purely the fault of her parents for doing such a thing to their daughter. Were they so unrealistic and forgot their parental responsibility and projection to their siblings? Were their habits and egos so great that they could sacrifice their daughter’s virginity in the hands of this culprit and spoil her future? It is a shame of guilt that these parents will have to undergo throughout their life. We sometime for the sake of greed for gaining some money tend to forget the future of our own children. These parents should be book for committing such criminal offense.

I wonder if this idiot was tutored by Mahanand Naik?
He must have convincesd himself that he will be accquited, as any case dealt with by Goa Police ends up as such.
