CHURCHILL IS A MAN OF WORD, JOINED HEARTS OF TWO VILLAGES SAYS CM KAMAT

MARGAO: Today’s day will be remembered forever by the people of the two villages of Telaulim and Varca as the promise given to them by the PWD Minister, Mr Churchill Alemao, has been fulfilled, said the Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat.
Mr Kamat was speaking after inaugurating the Telaulim-Varca bridge, built at the cost of Rs 11 crore.
Congratulating the PWD Minister for the construction of the bridge within a short span of time, the Chief Minister said that he is confident that the remaining two bridges, connecting Sinquetim to Benaulim and Cavelossim to Assolna, would be also completed in a short time.
Mr Alemao is a man of words, he remarked adding he fulfills the promises made to the people.
When asked whether the construction of the bridge will strengthen the base of the Congress party in Salcete, Mr Kamat answered in affirmative, adding further that Mr Alemao has joined the hearts of the two villages together.
Mr Alemao has the potential to keep the masses happy, the Chief Minister pointed out, adding this is good for the party.
Speaking further, he said that “Mr Alemao had met the Union Railway Minister, Ms Mamata Banerjee and had impressed upon her to start the Valankanni Express train from Vasco to Valankanni. In the Railway Budget announced today, this genuine demand has been met.”
The credit for this too goes to Mr Alemao, he added.
The Chief Minister also announced that both of them also met the officials of National Highway Authority of India as well as the minister concerned and told them in clear terms that the exercise of widening of the national highways should not lead to the displacement of the citizens in the state
In this regard all Goans are united and the committee to oversee this also consists of opposition members, he added.
Mr Kamat gave the impression that Mr Alemao will also take care to see that no loss is caused to Goans and their properties while widening the national highways in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Churchill Alemao said that the construction of the bridge was made possible due to the solid support he received from the sarpanchas and elected representatives of the panchayats of Telaulim and Varca and the villagers.
Mr Alemao further said that the construction of the bridge was very important as it was a long-pending demand of the villagers of Varca and Telaulim
The man who was the chief minister for two terms and MLA for 25 years could not do it, he pointed out, adding that he has done it in just four years time.
He also said that he will complete the remaining two bridges before the end of 2011.  Mr Subash Shirodkar, GPCC president and Mr Joaquim Alemao, Urban Development Minister and Ms Valanka Alemao also spoke on the occasion.

  2. Churchill certainly is a man who has not kept his word; He fooled the people of Goa and sided in favour of Mopa airport in exchange for a pot of money. The next project for this illiterate is installing a sewer pipe connecting the Ghanti slums to the 40 MLAs’ houses.

  3. Why are Goans being fooled that these bridges will benefit the villages? Open your eyes and see the vast amount of land that has been secretly marked for Mega housing Projects. This will only benefit non-Goans.

  4. Why does not the CM say that Chorchill is the chor of the decade, a devoted chor to looting and robbing. This is because the CM himself is a chor of the first class.

Churchill has fooled the Goans once too often. But still the foolish Goans run after him to eat whatever falls off from his plate. Quite a lot of Benaulikars are greedy idiots for a quarter of fenny or a bottle of whisky they will lick the a.....se of Churchill. Shame on Benaulikars!

  6. It is high time the CM and Churchill stops fooling the people. Churchill remember the people now are not uneducated like you. Better check that out with your daughter and she will tell you. I hope you understand what education is or educated means is.

  7. What word are we talking about; word given to Ghantis of Karwar has been kept, but not the word given to Goans. If he is a man of his word why has he not opposed Mopa airport as he pledged before his last election? Kamat and his band of thieves have stuck for each other.

  8. The Dukor of Varca and the Cowmuth of Monte Dongor must have praised each other. Cowmuth has joined his heart with the people of Monte Dongor. So has Chorchill has joined his heart with the bridge that has earned him crores and fattened his bank balance. The eye is on the vote bank to bring his Leitao daughter into the House of the Chors at Porvorim.

  9. What is the percentage Chorchill has taken 15 or 20 from the contractor. At the end of the year, you will find cracks in the bridge and it will be closed down for traffic for want of repairs. Hope the bridge stands its guarantee at least by another 5 years time, otherwise it will be RIP. The words of admiration comes from cowmuth’s mouth are all praiseworthy because he has already got his commission under the table. Chorchill is fooling the masses by just putting some peanuts into their mouth while the rest big dough being pocketed and treasured in the Swiss lockers. I would request the people of Telaulim and Varca not to get fooled by these rogues. Think twice before you cast your vote in the next election. Otherwise everything will be lost and gone.

to D.Justin:::I think the word "TOAD" is a bit nice for Digu.If your intention was to refer to him as jumping from pond to pond (PARTY to PARTY),thats fine. However I think a better reference to Digu is the "DIRTY GUTTER RAT" of MARGAO.
He likes to live in filth, and around filth (MOTI DONGOR) and is habitually filthy himself (Corrupt). As you well know , when Digu is confronted by major issues or incidents in Goa ,he runs along the gutters to New Delhi, to hide.A soon as the Coast is clear in Goa, he pops up to see if he can steal more morsels from the Goans along with therest of the RAT PACK and their chief Churchill.
HAve you noticed the love affair Digu has with Churchill .They are both madly in love with each other.(read into this what you like).

  11. You are right Lily, but you are mistaken if you think his daughter the commssion agent who takes bribes(n God knows what..) from all contactors is educated. Her father has bought that degree for her...Have you ever heard her talking any sense..She only knows to say "MHAJA PAI,MHAJEA PAIN KELLAM'

  13. What N. Fernandes has said in the first comment is truly correct. Chhorchill and Digu are both rats of the gutter, or are gutter of rats. Hands in glove they are both critisizing each other, But without the gloves, they don't realize from where the blow will come. Both are making potty in their pants and cleaning each other's Pampers!!!

I think all of Goa knows Valanka and her Pilot brother have had their Degrees / Qualifications purchased for a few crore Rupees.
Make them sit for a new exam...and you can be guaranteed they will fail, miserably.
You may remember recently in Goa Medical College where the MBBS Exam Papers were leaked.
This is fair proof that VAlanka, her brother and cousin are all beneficiarys of the wealth stolen from hmble Goans, which has been used to buy their educational qualifications.
In the UK Social Workers are highly trained or have to undergo training and an assessment. In Goa,you just have to open an office with fathers Cash and add the name Social Worker, next to your proper "Christian" name ( as in the case of Valankas religious belief).
Looking at Valanka, she may be better skilled working in a Beauticians and advising on LIP make-up.

As per Kamats statement...is he now suggesting that Churchill is playing "the part of "CUPID" or is CUPID.
I guess, if that is the case than Digu is playing the part of "STUPID" or "STUPIDO" ?!!
