DAYLIGHT ROBBERY AT MALBHAT, MARGAO

MARGAO: In a robbery that took place in broad daylight on Monday, unidentified culprits broke into a house belonging to Roshanlal Keny at Malbhat, Margao and decamped with cash and gold ornaments, all estimated to be worth nearly 2 lakh.
According to police sources, the theft occurred between 9.30am and 7.30pm when none of the occupants were home.  The accused entered into the house by breaking open the front door, police sources said.  Cash amounting to 40,000 and gold and other valuables worth 1.40 lakh were found stolen, police sources added. Margao police have registered an offence against unknown accused. Investigations are underway

  1. This is only the beginning...Liberation only applies to these Robbers who now have the liberty to rob us Goans...Yet that schmuck Kalmadi only goes on criticizing the Portuguese while turning a blind eye to the crimes done by people who are nothing but his brethren.

  2. This is the dream for criminals after the so called Liberation of Goa. This liberation has applied to to criminals of Non-Goans and Goans alike. None of them is likely to be caught. Konkan Railway will assist in their escape with pleasure.

    Roshanlal Keny is just plain unlucky.Had the theives moved a few doors further, they would have been entering the Alladins cave of Goa`s Chief Minister, the Dishonourable Digamber Kamat. I am sure there would have been far more treasures to decamp with here.No doubt all the treasures were siphoned from the Goan Public.
    I hope the next attempt of these theives will be the residence of Digu.
    The Guards who guard Digu`s house could easily be distracted.
