QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS by Elvino Rodrigues, Navelim

Linette Rebello’s letter to a local news paper on 31st January 2011 has raised some interesting and serious questions regarding Cipriano’s custodial death. The complaint from his woman friend that stated because she refused to go with him to his house, he threatened her with knife, was only reported and mentioned by her to the police, but was it the real complaint?
If that was the only complaint, then why was he mercilessly beaten up to the extent that he lost his life? That there was more to it, only shows that there was another undisclosed mysterious hand that advised the police to beat him up till he passed out, and the woman friend must have selectively hidden the influential higher-up’s name to whom she complained, about his threat to her. Another question that can be raised here is: was she his real friend, and was Cipriano her only friend, or did she have some other influential and more intimate friend in a influential post, who got so infuriated that he advised the police to beat him up that much?
The law has to investigate who that might be that someone, because the police will simply not beat up a simple person, and that too based on a mere complaint. Yes there is some mysterious reason for all this, and it has to be investigated

  1. Elvino Rodrigues; The orders were certainly from above to eliminate Cipriano. But investigating this case can we find any honest law agency to do so? It is like asking a criminal to investigate their own kind.
But this case must never be forgotten it is the peoples power that matters.

  6. The order to finish Cipriano didn't come from high command, it's from the uneducated education minister. The order was given to the dogs in khaki, who licks the arses of the strays pigs( ministers) If the people didn't pressurised the gua govenment it would have died silently, as our uneducated minister thought didn't have a second thought. In democracy power lies with the people, which people do not realise. wake up Goans and fight for justice.
