With the Goa Governor Dr. S.S.Sidhu not complying with the RTI Act, we have the constitutional head of the State himself violating the law. Governor Sidhu who is otherwise a highly respected senior retired bureaucrat has let us all down.
If the Governor claims he is not a Public authority, he needs to tell us what he is. How does he justify the crores of rupees being spent on his upkeep and that of his official residence, the sprawling Raj Bhavan which has 136 staff in addition to the over 100 security personnel. Even the Governor’s haircut is being paid by the State exchequer. It is all digging very deep into the pockets of Goa’s Aam Aadmi.
This is our so called 'liberation'. Mr Marathe, please read 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell. Maybe then you will not hell bent on trying to force in believe your version of the facts, that we were 'liberated' by the 'evil' Portuguese rulers! I urge Mr Rodrigues to fight for special status for OUR Goa. We need to save ourselves. We are loosing OUR Goa. As even the editor-in-chief of the Herald wrote a few days ago, we and Goa are in grave danger!
ReplyDeleteWhy actually do we need a Governor when he has got no powers? He is just another Congress High Command instrument in the States to dictate the terms of Sonia from Delhi? In the past, we have seen these Governors doing a great injustice to the Citizens but lives on tax payers money. Do we really need a Governor for the States?
ReplyDeleteGoa is already given on contract to loot by the politicians, for the politicians. Justice system in Goa is going to be the worst in the World. Criminals are out, criminals in the Goa Assembly, Criminals in Police Force, Criminals running the affairs of Goa.
Wrong news, Cowmuth is cutting the hair (I mean everywhere) of the Governor Of Goa. Cowmuth is the biggest barber of Goa. Chorchill is another SHAVER of Goa.

When everybody in Government position is enjoying the fruits of our labour then why the Governor shouldn’t eat? That is the nature adopted by all the chors in the Goa Government. All the overseas trips like Dubai, Kuwait (Goan World Day) etc., where do you think that money is being spent on the 5 stars hotels bills, expenses for them and their families comes from? Everything is dumped on the head of the State exchequer etc., because they know there is no one to question their deceitfulness. This way the common is made to suffer day by day for the increased expenses on common amenities and deprived us for our common privileges. Adv. Aires you are the saviour born to us, keep up the good work and keep on digging and digging all the corrupt ways of these politicians till we get rid of everyone. Don’t fall prey for their bait. God be with you and bless you to guide us to liberate our Mother Goa from the clutches of the cowmuth rule and get rid of these power greedily and unscrupulously vultures. Viva Goa Viva Niz Goenkar.
