MARCEL: A 30-year old labour contractor was strangulated to death in his car at Kundaim. According to Ponda police, Ramesh Gaikwad, a native of Satara-Maharastra but residing at Manaswada-Kundaim was a labour contractor at the Marcaim Industrial Estate and was reportedly missing since December 23.
The decomposed body was recovered from his car (GA-01-S-0920) which was abandoned in the bushes along a mud road at Kundaim on Saturday night. Ponda police has registered a murder case against unknown persons and is investigating.
