NEW DELHI: The Congress is likely to ignore Mr Sharad Pawar’s directive to induct controversial NCP legislator, Mr Francisco Xavier Pacheco alias Mickky into Goa ministry after a group of ten Congress MLAs threatened to topple the party-led government in the state if he was made a minister.
“No way we can allow Pacheco’s induction into the ministry as the NCP legislator is facing a murder charge and a CBI inquiry is on against him in a money laundering case,” a senior Congress leader, who declined to be identified, said.
