BRITISH NATIONAL FOUND DEAD IN HER HOTEL ROOM AT CALANGUTE

PANJIM: A British national was found dead in her hotel room on Tuesday at Calangute.  Police said that British woman, Geraldine Qirushem, 44, came along with her husband to Goa on December 14 and was staying in a Calangute resort.
Her husband informed the police that she went to sleep at about 10pm on Monday, as she was not feeling well. When he tried to wake her up, on Tuesday morning, she did not respond. She was declared dead upon medical consultation. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and sent the body for postmortem.
"Though her husband didn't complain of any foul play, we have decided to comment only after postmortem is conducted," the police said. (TNN)

  1. Investigate the husband if any bribes paid to the local ghanttis to get rid of her by a Ratol tube. This can be like the recent case of Shrien Dewani, the British businessman whose Indian-origin wife was shot dead while the couple was on honeymoon in South Africa.

Police should also ensure that Mickey Pacheco was not making the rounds of the hotel the previous night.
