COPY OF HISTORICAL SUMMONS TO THE GOVERNOR OF GOA

Copy of historical summons to Governor of Goa to appear before the State Information Commission 2010-12-22
It appears that a brand new Freedom Struggle has begun in Goa. This copy of the summons reproduced below issued to the Governor of Goa by the State Information Commission will have historical significance in years to come. It marks a significant milestone in the struggle to impose transparency and accountability in all government servants including the Governor.
The Governor is important to the ordinary citizen of Goa because his signature on ordinances directly impact on the state of Goa and the lives of our children. The Governor’s every action is shrouded in mystery. He is untouchable. Or has been until he came up against Adv Aires Rodrigues and the Goa State Information Commission.
A copy of the summons to the Governor of Goa and the Special Secretary to the Governor of Goa is reproduced below:
“Whereas the above named complainant (Advocate Aires Rodrigues) has filed a Complaint before this Commission under Sec.18 of RTI Act, 2005 against you (a copy of memo of complaint is enclosed herewith).
“And whereas the hearing of the said Complaint is fixed on 4th January, 2011 at 10:30 am before the State Chief lnformation Commissioner.
“Therefore you are required to appear before this Commission in person and not to depart hence without leave of the Commission and you are hereby warned that if you shall, without just excuse, neglect or refuse to appear on the aforesaid date and time, failing which the complaint will be decided in your absence.
“Given under my hand and Seal of this Commission on this 22nd day of December2010.
“By order of the Commission,
(Meena H. Naik Goltekar)
Under Secretary Registrar

To Dalia:::: I second your view.Aires , regardless of a few human flaws, has proved to be the Shining Light of Goa.
When he shines his torch....he is showing up all the rogues and the cancers that afflicts Goa.
Goa today seem to be a PARADISE and Gold Mine for MLA`s and their kith & kin.
The wealth of Goa that belongs to all of us is being carved out by these Corrupt Devils.
May our "curses" long reign upon them and their families.
