SEX RACKET BUSTED AT PERNEM BY ANJUNA POLICE

On Tuesday 17th August, the Goa police headed by Police Inspector Manjunath Desai of Anjuna Police Station and Police Inspector Uttam Raut Desai raided a sex den at Malpem – Pernem and arrested three persons.
Two girls were rescued by the police who were being transported to the sex den in an Alto Car bearing registration No.GA01–R4644 which was intercepted by the police at Malpem, Pernem. The racked was tipped of by some reliable sources according to the police. The three arrested accused Gopal Kumar who was wanted in Mapuca Calangute area for sex rackets, Durgesh Bhelpuri of Uttar Pradesh and another by the name of Raja, were residing at Calangute and were involved in this sex rackets and sex racket crimes.
Pernem police has registered a case against the three accused Gopal Kumar, Durgesh Bhelpuri and Raja. The Alto car which was involved in the transportation of the two girls has been attached by the police. Earlier on 28th of June this year the Calangute police had raided a discotheque at Calangute-Baga and rescued 16 girls of different ages.
The Calangute police recently have been conducting many such raids in order to stop the fast flourishing trade of sex for sale. They have busted up many sex rackets in the Calangute area and along the coastal belt in Calangute and detained those involved in this immoral trade.
The Anjuna police personnel involved in the raid are Santosh Vengurlekar, Govind Gauns, Vinay Srivastav, Srikrishna Redkar, Suhas Joshi, Samir Gauns, Kamladdin Shaikh, Yeshwant Dharve, Nitesh Mulgaonkar, Mamta Desai and Reshma Kandolkar headed by Police Inspectors Uttam Raut Desai and Manjunath Desai.
NIZ GOENKAR ADDS: There are too many such sex dens throughout Goa manned by the migrants. It is a hope against hope that Goa Police raid such dens and clean out the filth brought into Goa by the migrants.

  1. Durgesh Bhelpuri from UP! sounds like Goa is not Goa Bihar or UP! Our Politician should change their names Digambar Bhelpuri,Ravi Panipuri,Babush Showpuri, Joaquim Pavpuri,Churchill Karwari, Mickey Tandoori,etc. The Filt has put a black dot in Goa.

  2. Credit must be given where credit is due, The police have their job in this incident probably helped by the local Goans. But there are major cases of other crimes one being Drug dealing although named has not been investigated. Will the law enforcers ever be able to fight Drug peddlers ? or will they follow the orders of politicians not to.

    Check out how many police are the pimps of these prostitutes. I am pretty sure that there has to be some police involved in this racket too just like drugs.
