For the Eyes of Goans Only

DONT NEED OUTSIDERS ADVICEBy Praxy Fernandes, Sanquelim

Foolhardy Goans who gleefully accept migrants with open arms should realize that migrants have not only destroyed our serene culture, our beautiful environment but have been questioning the decent views expressed by our renowned personalities
(see “Why drag BJP in?”by S Kashyap in Herald dt 7th July). Let me remind Kashyap that the present day fugitive is a creation of BJP who gave prominence to some obscure and uneducated goons by making them ministers. My I ask him;

1. Who conveniently swept Miramar sex scandal under carpet?
2. Whose MLAs are allowing rave parties in their backyards in Pernem taluka?
3. Who created corporations to loot the public ex-chequer?
4. Who started and ferments communal violence in our peaceful Goa?

Non-Goans migrants will always speak for BJP as they sync with its culture of destructive and revengeful dadgiri with intelligence. The present CM is ex-BJP who has his voters imported from Bhatkal, surrounding areas and who are firmly secured atop Moti dongor.

HUMILITY & CONTEMPORY Goans
By Praxy Fernandes, Sanquelim

It is so amazing to see the humility of Europeans specially German supporters accepting defeat not only graciously but in going all out to praise their winning opponents at the ongoing world cup. Supporters’ reactions expressed on TV & other media says it all. Wonder why we Goans cannot replicate this kind of humility in our lives. Inspite of courts giving sound and proper judgement, we see supporters of one self-proclaimed flamboyant MLA crowding the courts and CBI premises. Can’t they just accept the truth and allow law to take its course. Then there are the squealers & ungrateful politicians who want us to believe Goans protest only for the sake of it. Devnagiri Konkani, mega projects, environmental disastrous projects, name it; all have been imposed on us by these jokers and goons thereby fooling Goans time and again. Salute people like Dr Francisco Colaco, Nitin kamat, et al for openly expressing their views for the good of our Goa.
