Beautiful Letters to the Herald
Parrikar’s true face by Nitin Kamat
I strongly support Jerry Fernandes (‘Stop Glorifying Parrikar’, Herald, 19 August) and commend him for exposing the greatest manipulator in Goan politics. If Parrikar is as clean as he says, can tell us the number of minority candidates who applied for posts in the Electricity Dept and Goa Police during his tenure, and how many were appointed?
How many crimes were solved, and what was the rate of conviction during his tenure? What action did he take against Mickky Pacheco for assaulting public servants? Shame on those who glorify such manipulators.
Parrikar, Jerry & Nitin by Leonardo E Lobo, Vasco
I strongly support the views expressed in the letters ‘Stop glorifying Parrikar’ by Jerry Fernandes (Herald, 19 August) and ‘Parrikar’s true face’ by Nitin Kamat (Herald, 20 August). They are a true reflection of the bankrupt character of Goan society today. Manohar Parrikar is wasting his time and energy trying to correct the ills affecting true Goans. After all, isn’t it much more difficult to write a Letter to the Editor than what Parrikar did in the last Assembly session? People like Jerry and Nitin are doing more for Goa than Parrikar. Writing Letters to the Editor is a tedious and difficult job indeed!
Goans in Goa are the better Judges to elect the right person, As they experience the everyday hardship bestowed upon them by some of the corrupt Politicians. For Goans Unity is a must together they can make a difference in Goa.
ReplyDeleteHonestly speaking Parrikar is no saviour of Goa and the Goans. He has infact sparked the religious disharmony and communalism in goa with the help of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and RSS. Can Parrikar deny it?
ReplyDeleteAfter so much noise in Goa, I would blame the Chief Minister Digamber Kamat for acting so sissy over the case. This proves that the CM is so afraid of losing his chair that if any crimes committed even in front of his eyes he would deny to be a witness. Shame on you Digu.
