CUSTOMS OFFICIALS ON LOOKOUT FOR THE SON OF GOA EDUCATION MINISTER, ROHIT MONSERRATE

PANJIM: Education Minister Atanasio alias Babush Monseratte seems to be in for more trouble as the Customs officials are reportedly on a lookout for his son Rohit, who left for Dubai even as his father was detained at the airport.
The officials suspect Monserrate’s son is also involved in foreign exchange violations and police are on the lookout for him after he left for Dubai while his father was detained.
Customs officials at the Mumbai International Airport smell the involvement of a big hawala racket in the case of Goa Education Minister Atanasio Monserrate. They also suspect that Rohit, managed to escape their notice issued on the same night.
A news report in Mid-Day says that Rohit was carrying more foreign currency than his father, when he was on his way to Dubai in the early hours of Saturday.
The police are now on the lookout for him. “Preliminary investigation reveals that there is an involvement of hawala channels in the case. We also suspect that the minister’s son, who has been accused of rape in the past, was carrying more foreign currency that day. He, however, was not caught and was able to get to Dubai,” said a senior Customs official.
Officials said that the amount confiscated from Monserrate was unaccounted for. The traveller’s cheque of $25,000 he was carrying had expired and he couldn’t explain how he had come to be in possession of 75,000 dirhams. “As per existing RBI guidelines, traveller’s cheques expire after six months from the date of issue.”
“In Monserrate’s case, the cheque was issued a year back, which, in itself, is in violation of the guidelines. The 75,000 dirhams he had was also unaccounted for,” the official added.

  2. The law and order in Bollywood Films is better in reality. Watch Bollywood films and relax. This is a waste of time as Moron-serrate has settled everyone including Churchill who acts as his moluth piece or a coined telephone booth.

  3. I dont understand why the customs have to beat round the bush.If the customs have reasons to beleive that this huge amount was a part of a hawala racket in which the Junior Monsterat was also involved, well then, issue a red notice , Alert the interpol. Get him arrested.. There is no need to strain your dam eyes looking for him,. I am sure this wouldnt be really hard if the customs are serious of getting to the bottom of the case..

Knowing that the Customs are after him, he will no doubt make travel arrangements to fly direcct to Goa and then go underground.
He has had a spell of absconding, after the Rape of a minor German girl.No doubt he may do the same again.
He will also , no doubt have the assistance of Churchill Alemao and Warren Alemao ,another co-accused in the Rape case.
Churchill is currently, actively assisting Monseratte remain as a Cabinet Minister.
Churchill is also another Hawala agent /mule /courier and every Goan knows it.
Perhaps his time will come too and I am sure all Goa awaits it.
Hopefully it will not be only firecrackers that will be lit, in jubilation...but Church and Temple Bells will toll too.
Beer sales will go up too.
Hopefully "Gods Law" will take its course as Indian Law is corrupt.

There must be a few Goans in Dubai, now contemplating their moves.Hopefully a few will be named and shamed.
They must be missing their TRAVELERS CHEQUES & DHIRAMS.
I hope Monserattes assets and finances in Dubai will be investigated.
Lets hope this move will also open a "Can of Worms" on other Cabinet Ministers.
Biggest worm will be Churchill and Valanka.
Valanka`s portrayl of innocence is highly misleading.
Lets us pray some "DYNAMICS" take shape in weeding out the corrupt.
