MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION AND PERENNIAL BETRAYERS by Praxy Fernandes, Sanquelim

If ever in Goa there can be nobel prize for a ‘Betrayers’ it will go to the Bandodkar family. Bandodkar wanted to betray us by merging Goa with Maharashtra to achieve his sinister designs. Thank God we had Dr. Jack Sequeira to save us Goans from being ghantis in our own motherland those days, ofcourse now we have the rogue evil greedy politicians who have sold our Goa wholesale to outsiders that we have become ghantis and ghantis have become goanese(mind you I cannot use the term ‘Goans’ because Goans are unique & dignified people).

Coming back, the daughter of this evil CM is now trying to use every opportunity to get back into politics by jumping the BBSM bandwagon to support Marathi/Devnagiri Konkani as medium of instruction, little realising that she has been discarded even in our Mayem constituency by the intelligent rural Goans who have now become wiser and know what is good for them and their future. How can a person who allegedly killed her own brother to grab the family fortune(which was acquired at the cost of large number of Christians from poorer class and who because of which nowadays have to resort to obtaining Portuguese passport for a dignified living overseas, dignified because their culture believes in ‘Dignity of Labour’) and who allegedly harassed, tortured, dumped & divorced her own husband (on the grounds of impotency which mind you she realised at her old age) for a wealthy young-stud, preach us Goans what is right and wrong for us & our children’s future. This female never had any vision for Goans and thats why alongwith another Sottarcar CM started Marathi ‘shalas’ with an intention to import large number of ‘masters and bhais’ from neighbouring states so as to build their votebanks and also recruit ghanti outsiders to top government administration/technical positions in Goa and that too by falsely proclaiming that Goans are not interested in government jobs. If at all anyone has problems in Goans lining up at Portuguese consulate to obtain a Portuguese passport then that person has to leave this state and go to their homeland outside Goa to preach Marathi. I for one would be more dignified obtaining such passport and nationality than be harassed and made to feel a second class citizen here. Only an insane & ungrateful person that this female is will have the mentality to question the Diocesan Society when infact all the top decent and good schools, colleges and technical institutes in Goa are run by the Diocese. Infact if the diocese were not to be in Goa these cruel and rotten politicians like her would have made the life of all Goans more miserable to satiate their lust of building wealth and fortunes for themselves and their family members who have studied in the Diocese schools & colleges. How come her own son now sells indian made goods branding them as phoren/americano under the Amway chain marketing programme thereby cheating the general public in Goa. However how can we expect good for us Goans from such people who have killed and made life miserable of their own family members.

Then there are some people who claim to be freedom fighters who as we all know have registered and become FFs only to avail of facilities and schemes of the government. We Goans have not forgotten who the real freedom fighters are and who the betrayers are, nowadays donning sheeps clothings. Will any genuine freedom fighter go about damaging peoples’ properties in the guise of getting rid of street names? The reality is these so called freedom fighters were actually the thieves arrested by Portuguese for petty crimes & uncivilised acts and put behind bars and who were let off from the jails when Goa was illegally invaded and occupied by Nehru-Menon’s indian army. I say with authenticity that there are more non-Goan ghantis in our freedom fighters list and who are openly involved in looting us Goans by joining hands with our dirty and sick politicians.

Also do you think we Goans can trust the RSS cheddiwalas (who use every false opportunity to create communal disharmony in our harmonious Goa) to tell us that they want to protect our mother tongue when all they want is to promote only Marathi. We Goans very well know that these people are the ones who have been shunted and thrown out of their hometowns because of their stupid illogical ways of life. So my advice to them is they better go back to their hometowns outside Goa and indulge in their nefarious preaching.

And how come the grey haired politician who made his own constituency people suffer by imposing alien language and ghanti administrators on them not jumped the bandwagon for his own political gains. Maybe he has become wiser and realised that he stands rejected nowadays and that there cannot be any comeback.

Then there are the uneducated politicians who don’t even know to spell their own names wanting to impose Konkani on us & that too in Devnagiri script(sorry some of them didn’t even know that they were made fools by the Devnagiri protagonists) and who want to merge kankoni(not Konkani) speaking areas with Goa to promote their own family members into becoming MLAs so they can siphon money, start illegal mines & drug trades, promote rapes and prostitution, etc., etc.

My fellow Goans, rise up in whatever numbers we are left and be alert to these wicked human tsunamis who in the name of language want to divide us Goans and finish our unique culture totally and run Goa as their personal fiefdom by getting us Goans replaced by ghantis so they can loot whatever is left of our natural wealth and chastity. Let us unite and demand English as our medium of instruction with Konkani as a compulsory subject till SSC and ban other languages like Marathi, hindi as they have nothing else but destroyed our rich Goan heritage and culture. The youth of today by watching hindi and Marathi movies/TV serials/programmes don’t even know to speak proper the international language of English and hence suffer when it comes to getting good jobs. Hope sanity prevails and young Goans rise up and realise they have been taken for a ride for a far too long period of time.
