PEOPLE SUFFER FOR CONGRESS GOVT FAILURE SAYS BJP

BICHOLIM: The president of state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Mr Laxmikant Parsekar said that the Congress-led state government has failed on all fronts and the people of state had to suffer a lot.  Addressing a press conference at Bicholim, after the state-level BJP executive and legislative wing and workers’ meeting held at Hirabai Zantye Memorial Hall, on Sunday, Mr Parsekar said that the BJP has decided to take the issue pertaining to the failure of the state government to the people and a special campaign for this will be launched.
The BJP state president informed about the various resolutions which were passed at the meeting.  Our resolutions have covered the state government’s failure to control prices of essential commodities, to provide protection to religious places, he said adding that the government is not capable of maintaining law and order in the state.
Mr Parsekar, speaking further, said that corruption is beyond control as the politicians are directly involved.  He also alleged that government has failed to protect the environment and “on the contrary, pollution has been on the rise due to the liberal mining policy.”
Expressing great concern over the undemocratic atmosphere, which is on the rise in Goa, the Goa state BJP in-charge, Ms Aarti Mehra said that during the last 3 years many scandals have taken place.  Ms Mehra also criticised the unfavorable conditions for progress and development prevailing in the country.  The state BJP will take all these issues to the people at large through an awareness campaign, she added.
All the 14 BJP MLAs, members of the state executive committee and party workers were present in large numbers for the day-long meeting.  Mr Parsekar lit the lamp to inaugurate the meet. Mr Narendra Savaikar compered the function.

Goans suffer under the corrupt congress Government, but are the BJP any better for liberal Goa with their pro-Hindu views?

Congress, BJP and MGP are not a party of Goan interest and should be kicked out of Goa. It is for the people of Goa to make that decision.

  3. Is it not correct that Cowmuth Digambar,Chambar Azgoankar and many more who join congress to save themselves from their crimes were either former MGP & BJP? Goans should beware that they will suffer more if they elect an BJP Government but that does not mean we should elect criminals from Congress party...we will have a choice that is NIZ GOENKARACHI PARTY.

  4. One question for Mr. Parsekar "itlo temp nidlolo re papia"?
Same ingredients different name.BJP, being an opposition party you have failed as much as the Govt. Your leaders have being saying the same thing countles times "The state BJP will take all these issues to the people at large through an awareness campaign". You are a weak opposition. Only good you and that of your ilk i.e Congress can do is wait to topple governments and give big talks with little action.
On another note, Dear MGP Party, it is high time to change the name of the party, azum maharashtra wadi re tumi? Goenkarani sangle muhre tumkan kitlin vorsan zalin, kanan bhere dista tumi.
