MERGER OF KONKANI SPEAKING AREAS INTO GOA WAS CHURCHILL’S SUGGESTION

MARGAO: The issue of merger of Konkani speaking areas of Karnataka into Goa may not subside soon as PWD minister Churchill Alemao said that a greater Goa was the dream of late Padmbhushan Ravindra Kelekar.
Speaking to the media after the inaugural function of a science festival for Margao schools, Alemao, when asked to comment on the merger issue, said, "The merger of Konkani speaking areas from Karnataka into Goa was the dream and vision of late Padmbhushan Ravindra Kelekar. I had only suggested merging Konkani-speaking areas in Goa."
Elaborating on the merger statement the PWD minister further said, "I had suggested this, considering the fast developing state of Goa. Along with development, the population of Goa is also increasing. In the next sixty years there will be no place for people to live. It is the people of Supa, Halyal regions of Karnatak who want to merge their portion in Goa."
The PWD minister also disclosed "Goa is facing a great economic problem. There is a cruch of funds in Goa for developmental works. If the Konkani speaking areas of Karnataka are merged with Goa, than the nuclear power plant situated at Kaiga and the Indian Navy's project Sea bird will be part of Goa. Which will be an advantage for Goa."
"Even during the signing of Tilari project, every body had criticized me. But now the people of Goa are benefiting. Churchill has never thought of self-benefits," said Alemao.
While commenting on musician Remo Fernandes' recent statement at a function in Mangalore, the PWD minister said "Remo is a good composer and singer. It is easy for him to speak as he is not a politician. Politicians have to face different types of people."

  1. What does this dumb bastard Chorchill know about politics? Of course Remo will know much more than the pig Smuggler Chorchill and his big lips Valanka. This Chorchill is the biggest CHOR in the history of Goa. The only thing he is very good is at smuggling. He forgets that Remo is an educated person and not like him uneducated

  2. Who brought this smuggler into politics. Mr. Pig Chorchill, this is not smuggling. Remo is a very sensible person not like you a AN'NADDI. Remo knows what he is talking and I am sure Remo would have made a wonderful PWD minister not like you Mr. Pig. Good people like Kennedy are already gone from this world and dirty ass..ho..s like this Pig of Varca, chorchill is still a burden on this earth only to loot and plunder. Now he wants to loot Karwar. ARE CHORA GHORA KON OGO BORO MANDORI GHAL ANI NIDE CHORA

  3. Remo Fernandes is an educated person and that qualifies him to make statements that he did. As the PWD minister states “there is a Crunch of funds”, of course there will be shortage “the chors” have siphoned the wealth of Goa. Further more the destruction of Goa is taking a faster pace aided by these ministers and non-Goan developers.

  4. Is Chorchill's son-in-law from Karwar? And how is it that the population of Goa increasing so rapidly? Recently, there was a survey done which said that Goans are opting for small families - one child or two children. Besides, the population of Catholics in Goa is down from more than 50 per cent at the time of "liberation" to around 23 per cent. Plus, there is an emmigration of Goan Hindus, Muslims and Christians to other countries.
So Chorchill the dukor, can you pls explain how Goa's population is increasing at such a rapid pace, given the above facts and figures?
Ghanttis, eh? So you are making provisions for ghanttis, eh?

  5. To sum it up in short, Chorchill will never make noise until he has got some interest. In the case of merging Karwar with Goa, it is understandable that he has bought cheap properties in Karwar. This is one dukor that stoops so low to gain personal benefits. His remarks on Remo are uncalled for.
