AIRES FILES COMPLAINT WITH CHIEF JUSTICE AGAINST JUSTICE BRITTO

PANJIM: Adv. Aires Rodrigues today filed a complaint with the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court against the alleged judicial impropriety committed by Justice N.A. Britto.
In his letter to the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, Adv. Rodrigues has pointed out the judicial impropriety by Justice Britto in handling the Revision Petition in the 2004 Ribandar Church case.
Adv. Rodrigues has in his complaint pointed out that the matter was called out on Monday 13th December for pronouncement of judgment without the matter being displayed or notified on the High Court board as required.
Adv. Rodrigues has in his letter stated that the very pertinent point that needs consideration by the Chief Justice is as to why Justice Britto breached established norms and procedures to unnecessarily expedite the pronouncement of the judgment.
Referring to the Supreme Court expressing concern about the alleged rot at the Allahabad High Court Adv. Rodrigues has in his letter stated that it is very important to ensure that this rot does not percolate across other Temples of Justice.
Adv. Rodrigues has in his complaint further stated that this can be ensured if remedial measures are taken to see that the serious breach committed by Justice Britto is not allowed to go unnoticed.
Justice N.A. Britto is due to retire in three weeks time on 7th January.

Seems like Justice Britto was shit scared to display notification of Judgement.well no doubt he will blame Court Officials /Clerks for this error.
All Court Case hearing dates have to be displayed. It is a practice in all Courts around the world. It also has to be Gazetted and listed on the Court Website.

During the past two decades or three, judges to the High Court were all selected on political clout rather than merits. If one checks the antecedents of selected Judges from the High Court, one can see that there was no merit involved. There were far more upright and sincere candidates who were either overlooked or falsely made ineligible. The rot of corruption and political interference has gone beyond sanity.
