Whatever I was fighting for my beloved Goa looks like is coming true. It certainly appears that the voice of Niz Goenkar is being heard in Goa. The great forthcoming event on 15th March proves that at last Goa is waking up to the calls given by different people by writing articles and commenting on the site, expressing their opinions and exposing the corrupt.
This change was required in the attitude of people who are the voters and electors. VOTING: This is a sharp weapon we have and should keep it sharp by exercising our rights in a right manner. Do not cause your weapon to turn blunt by selling it off for a meagre amount to these unscrupulous, uneducated and uncouth politicians, who are lacking grace, who are doing nothing, but looting and destroying Goa at every single opportunity. They also create opportunities to loot and rob. They do not know the meaning of integrity, they do not know the meaning of self respect and they do not know the meaning of “own dignity”
Goa Rakhonndarancho Awaz has come forward heeding calls by the common people of Goa to fight for Goa. A fight that should be selfless till the end and post-overthrow of the present bunch of crooks and corrupt politicians. A base should be designed which will not shake the foundations of it and will withstand all the storms and tornadoes that will appear later on.
It is a wonderful work done by Fr. Bismarque, Yatish Naik etc. I have talked to Fr. Bismarque a couple of times long back and have assured him the full support of NIZ GOENKAR and its team and all the readers and commentators on this blog. Fr. Bismarque also told me that he is happy that Niz Goenkar brings out the voice of Goans in the open air.
I would like to request all the Goans, to wholeheartedly to be present for this meet from youth to elders. This meeting at Azad Moidan is a very important step in the right direction and as I can see a beginning of the downfall of the corrupt regime which is presently ruling Goa. This does not mean that we should be electing any of the BJP candidates as it is a well known fact that it is a communalist party that has created communal disharmony in Goa with the help of the RSS, of which the opposition leader Mr. Manohar Parrikar is a member himself. BJP will try to play their game using tactics which have to be carefully analysed and BJP should be kept at a distance. NCP and MGP is totally rubbish so it has to be ignored in their entire entirety.
Do not go for the outer cover. Now that we have GRA who will definitely come up with a third party should be extended full support even beyond our redundancy. Only a third Party can save Goa and get it back to its glorious days.
Azad Moidan should be full of Goans young and old in thousands and not just hundreds. Goans please heed this call by GRA if you wish a better and good life and a golden Goa which will be for us the Niz Goans.
I hereby appeal all the people of Goa and all the overseas Goans who will be down to Goa on holidays on this day, to attend the meet and support GRA. Let us save Goa from the clutches of evil that is currently in force and the evil that is currently watching for an opportunity to grab power and destroy Goa’s harmony in the form of present opposition.
GO MY DEAR GOANS! HURRY! AZAD MOIDAN WAITS FOR YOUR PRESENCE AND YOUR STRONG SUPPORT. GOD BLESS GOA AND GOANS!
Menino I think people have started hearing you calls and pleas all over Goa. It is a revolution that you started and has caused a great awakening in Goa. Long live Niz Goenkar. I promise you that my full family will be there at Azad Maidan on 15. This is the way to show our love for Goa, a love that has been ignited by you. We will be there.
ReplyDeleteThank you NG
ReplyDeleteI wish that the Goans and Goan children in Bombay should be reading this site of NG: This site is a real eye opener. (If you know any Goans in Bombay please send them this link of NG)
All these years we were fooled by the Indians and those in power in Goa, for E.G. the traitor Bandorkar and his Chor party.
We should use this platform and the forth coming Election to throw away the Congress and all the invaders Indians Parties out of power.
We should put our case at the UNO and force for INDEPENDENCE. Invader Indians have ruined Goa a lot, the world is not blind. I'm sure we've a lot of Goans all over the world with high ranking in many respectful organisation. I with many others will support them all the way. (the same way we're showing our presence in the NG platform)
We've nothing in common with the Invader Indians and have no reason what so ever to be a forceful part of the Union. Those after Independence want to be Indian can always go to the Invaders and ask for Asylum.
I pray and beg to all Goan Voters not to vote for any invader Indian Parties. If any Indian party comes to power again they will ruin Goa more, these invaders are not in for love but to rob and suck Goa to it's last mineral and the last drop of Goan Blood.
The CM Dugkor along with Churchill loudly said that they don't needs Goans, they are absolutely right, these politicians have a strong Ghantti Vote Bank. The new comer in the field is Montserrat, he is trained by Congress to build Nagers as Vote Bank. Montserrat has got a big Nager in Taleigao, now in Panjim and more Nagers are being built in Santa Cruz and Merces. (No wonder more Konkan trains are added on the track in the name of holidays, I wonder how is Goa profiting from these tourist? and at what cost?)
It is unfortunate that I will not be able to attend the meet on the 15th March as i am on holiday and I would have loved to have spoken too at the meet. Anyway wake up all LOYAL Goans and head to the meet in NUMBERS at Azad Maidan and show your soladarity to the cause, to rid our beloved Goa of these rotten corrupt politicians. All the Old must go those who ARE and HAVE BEEN in the government. Each and Everyone of them must also be made ACCOUNTABLE and put on TRIAL for what they have done to our Paradise and our People. Enough is Enough. Goans get up stand up, stand up for your right and don't give up without a fight. They have fooled some of us for sometime but they could'nt fool all of us all this time.
ReplyDeleteThe time surely is right for moderate and crumb eating Goans to come out in full force and be counted. It God given right of every human being to come out and fight for their rights. Let the GRA be an inspiration to us all. We have been following the headless Goan Governments through the path of destruction and corruption and crime. We need to show solidarity towards our cause.
ReplyDeleteIn Goa Rakhonndarancho Awaz we have at last found a voice to fight for Goa. The GRA should be selfless and remain so. We should all extend full support to GRA in the fight against the corrupt politicians. They do not know what is integrity, they do not know what is character.
ReplyDelete"CHARACTER IS THE ONLY SECURE FOUNDATION OF THE STATE" - Calvin Coolidge (Calvin Coolidge was an American statesman and President of USA from 1923 to 1929).
What ever it is, let it be a big event . You have the blessings of Dr Jack Sequeira. Probably even Dotor must have not even dream that Ali Baba and his forting thieves & along with them the BJP would have led GOA into a situation in what it is now. further down we Goans would be a minority & will never have a say in the affairs of Goa.
ReplyDeleteMy friends Awareness is a big Job in front of you & us . I have seen even our site of "Niz Goenkar " is not known to the masses at large. we need to create a sense of feeling like during the opinion Poll.
Let me tell you " if someone tries to bring in some sort of difficult moments for you for e.g the present ruling chors , these B..aa...ss..t..rr..d..ss will be taken care off.
The corrupt politicians will be looking at the GRA with a magnifying glass and a fine tooth comb. It is the will of the Goan citizen that is very important in supporting the event. Let us pray we see light at the end of the tunnel.
ReplyDeleteViva Goa. Viva Niz Goenkar.
ReplyDeleteSir, we shall be there at Azad Maidan on 15 March as requested by you and out of love for your Genuine efforts for Goa and, We five favourite students of yours will be there on that day.
ReplyDeleteWhy do some Goans love to fight, nitpick, boast or even back stab? Yet we are very loving and unique in nature. The only fight we have to face right now is the sorry state of affairs in Goa which our Corrupt and criminal ministers have created, mainly The MLAs of South Goa. Let us grab this opportunity and support GRA to mold a better future for Goa and Goans. Goa belongs to Goans and not outsiders. Let us all make 15th March an important day to remember on our calenders. Let us not treat it as a one day event, let us treat it as food for our survival. So let us not fight, nitpick, boast or even back stab each other. I want my family to be proud of and part of Goa, WHAT ABOUT YOU?
ReplyDeleteI am overseas and I will miss this opportunity to take part to show my love to Goa. But in my Blood I am a Pure Goenkar.
ReplyDeleteA selfless, brave and intelligent man. I salute you Menino de Valpoi and the GRA should take a note of this. This article proves that the task undertaken by Niz Goenkar is now upto the people of Goa to finish. It will be very difficult to find another person like Menino, selflessly dedicated to Goa with a love that comes from his heart. One man working for Goa without asking any money from anybody. Your are a really gr8 person Menino sir. Hats off to you. Hope GRA takes a note of your hard work and give you the due credit, even though I know that you do not want any credit and praises. God bless you and your family. May you live long to see the Glorious Goa you dreamed of and even an independent Country of Goa which I know deep within is your biggest dream. My heart is choking and tears are flowing down my cheeks thinking of your love for Goa and Goans.
ReplyDeleteMogal Goykarano,
ReplyDeleteIf you cannot partake in the most historic day in Goan History i.e 15 March 2011 then please contribute by cash and moral support to GRA. They are our last hope to bring sanity to our beloved Goa. This fight must be continued to the logical conclusion i.e drive out 40 thieves out of Goa Assembly. It will be a long hard fight which will go beyond 15 March to April 2012 or so. GRA need support of every Goan and more so from NRI Goan.
I request those NRI Goans who are hobnobbing with corrupt MLA in Gulf and other places to stop this asap for the sake of Goa and your children.

"Chol Ya Azad Maidan" - let this be announced at every tinto, every temple, every church this and next sunday. sisters and brothers, we need to flood not just azad moidan but all the 4 streets around it. It will make all goans wake up, the message will be clear that we have a new politicial party, new hope!
ReplyDeleteI will be there....as a Goan...as an "aam admi" the real aam admi...I remember my uncle telling about the first election rallies in Goa(1963?)...when MGP was formed, the whole of azad moidan was flooded with people...people on the road...few days later the UG launched it's party....and the crowd was as big or bigger(my uncle was a UG so he had his bias maybe?) ...48 years later...we need to flood azad moidan....."Chol ya Azad Moidan". and let the GRA slogan be "Vote for Mother Goa".
On another note: the BJP released its book on Corrupt Cong - in English and Marathi, Whatever happened to Konkani? Are we in Maharastra? We really need the GRA, no more outside politicians!!! Long live Mother Goa!
People like Menino come one in a million, had it been thousands Goa would have been cleaned up by now. By lending our support to Niz Goenkar and GRA we could bring a new beginning to Goa. One must remember the BJP and the Congress have their own agenda to divide Goans on various issues and not are to the trusted.
ReplyDeleteI hope GRA will make it a success and put down the false dreams of power hungry individuals. I am sure, there will be some disgruntled members of other outfits potraying themselves on stage. It will be wise for GRA to identify these power hungry characters with selfish motives to keep at bay. I believe that this will not be another organisation like GBA where it will abandon the boat due to pressure. I hope every Goan who want a change will turn out at Azad Maidan and lend support for the cause. Niz Goenkar support the cause and will support always in different ways as long as the fight is to liberate Goa from the Challis Chors. We may suddenly see some of these Challis Chors making a beeline to board GRA bandwagon, we have to be careful. Leave them out, get the sincere fellows onboard. Wishing success for GRA.
ReplyDeleteVisit the village shops and you will see young Goan youth either drinking or just hanging out. I asked a young lad in Utorda if he has or ever had a Job, and what was his porpoise at being by the shops. ? He did not have a job and wasn't looking for one, and was hanging out by the shops as his friends do the same, and his parents supported him. The next answer was he is hoping to go Dubai. At the age of 23 no experience of work what will he do in Dubai only God and the lad can answer that question. "WE Just Chill Out Here" is every youth of Goa wants.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the GRA can open up a new chapter in our Goan life, where every school dropout can get some kind of technical training for the future without cost. The liberation has brought misery to the lives of Goans, but has encouraged criminal activates. I pray The GRA is the beginning of good things to come in Goa for Goans.
To Niz Goenkar members and the entire team that has in every possible way got these winds of change blowing, May the blessings of the almighty shower upon you. May the tireless efforts put in by the several member bear fruits. It may be just a gathering but that's how all changes begin. I hope to see all the people who love their mother land be present for this great day. A day where we can express our disgust at the way our system operates, and move forward to have a better Goa. Let's get a better Governance in place and make our Goa a pleasant place to live in.
ReplyDeleteHurry up, young and old to Azad maidan on 15 th of March 2011. You have nothing to lose but your sorrows. Goa need honest and hardworking people to take us forward and compete with rest of the world. Our present uneducated and illeterate politicians taken back Goa for stone ages. The present leaders doesnt have any vision for Goa other than to loot ad plunder in the name of developement. Goa need a complete change and sen all the 40 CHORS in the dustbin once and for all. Thank you all and God bless.
ReplyDeleteSalvador:::: We must never ever lose hope.It is what keeps us humans all ticking.
ReplyDeleteThere is a bias in offering jobs to Goan youth. Many of the jobs are now given to outsiders for a pittance. Many of these outsiders have no overheads.Goan boys in most situations have to bribe or pay to get a decent job with a decent living wage.
Salvador;I love my profession although it wouldn't make me rich overnight and the Ghantis will not touch it. There are tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians welders and others who are working in Goa trying to make ends meet. They cannot compete with the non-Goans for these jobs, because non-Goans work for one third the market price. Goan tradesmen opt to Go abroad where they are valued for their profession. Yes like you I too pray that GRA is a new chapter to better our Goans for Goa.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that our 40 uneducated & ignorat chors will not be able to read & get the message..but i m sure that all their kids are going to the topmost schools so please I request them to explain & put this in their heads.
