APPEAL FOR AZAD MOIDAN PROTEST MEET ON 15TH MARCH 2011 by Arwin Mesquita, UAE

Dear Goans,
I personally appeal to all Goans (Local & Overseas) to strongly support the same in whatever way possible i.e. attending the protest in large numbers; for Non Resident Goans I appreciate that you are not on the ground but let's look at what we "CAN DO". Some suggestions are:
(1) Please spread this message far and wide to all you of you Family and Friends
(2) Publicise on various media including Local Print, Social & other to strongly support the same. Including using your media contacts in your respective countries to widely publicise this protest meeting
(3) Speak to your Family /Friends on this Meeting and the urgent need of the hour for Goans to unite and fight for the preservation of our beautiful state & identity
(4) Convince your family and friends in Goa to attend the meeting and possibly sponsor any related tranportation/co-ordination costs
(5) Contact the co--ordinators of this meeting to offer your resources/sponsorships and even Moral Support!!
Goans this is now or never, what we do now will ultimately result in the future of Goa, Goans & our Identity. The Clock is ticking. We do not have much time Left.... TIME TO ACT IS NOW!
Arwin Mesquita, UAE.

Goans need change - Innovation of our political system. We do not need Parikars, Alemaos, Ranes, Babush and all them with more then 2 terms (even if he/she is god sent). At least to start with NO 3rd TERM.

In English it is known as Drunk in Konkani Bebdo, these frolics had been going on on the Herald comment section then on Niz Goenkar. once Sobered down come good articles poured in until grapes were sour, fomented and turned in to alcohol "When drunk became Bebdo" again. Please sober down Mister and be a Good Boy.

  7. This might be the beginning of our real Liberation. We can then work on getting independence for our Goa. It is our right. Please support this movement; it may be the one that can bring about a free Goa for Goan people. I want to die knowing Goa is free……I hope I get my wish.

Many Goans I have spoken to many Goans in the south of Goa who are not aware of GRA. The GRA needs to organize road shows with meetings in every village of Goa, to verify their intentions and existence .

  9. Once again let me send my strong sentiments to all my goan brothers and sisters that it is now or never to have an opinion poll and not to give more than three terms to contest assembly elections. New faces should be given a chance. Many of the legislative members of the assembly are registered Maha chors. People of Goa please wake up or else they will sell Goa at peanut cost. Come on streets and demand opinion poll.
