MORE SUPPORT FOR GRA, TIME TO ACT: ITS NOW OR NEVER by Ivo D’souza

My Dear Goan Friends/ Relatives and all,
Further to inspiring messages and initiatives/ appeals below from Pilerne C F, Arwin, Freddy Agnelo I am forwarding this appeal so that we can help in whatever way possible.
Any financial contribution can be sent directly to GRA.
We are Goans and we have achieved today much more because we are Goans unlike other states in India like Bihar or UP which do not have basic water, education, good roads etc. We had the privilege to enjoy these facilities over some years as we lived in a beautiful place called Goa. So we all need to give back atleast a part and show our gratitude towards our motherland. We need to preserve this Goa for our future generations of Goans. So let us do our part for the sake of Goa and Goans
WE need a change and YES - WE CAN. We can achieve by facing the challenges and taking on all odds. All the elected reps (ruling or opposition ones) till date have not done anything for Goans and so today we Goans are suffering in various ways and have more hardships entrusted upon us. We cannot give them a chance for a new term and so there should be a new true Goan faces. Above all - they should be made to pay back all that they have looted though the mining, power scams/ PWD scams/ mega projects/ land grabs/ conversions/ IDC scams/etc..
The puppets from PWD, ELECTRICITY DEPT, PANCHYATS/ HOME/ REVENUE should also face the music along with their masters to deter the future lot from continuing the legacy that has plagued Goa.
There should be a payback and judgment day. There needs to be revenge and NO Mercy. Niz Goenkar blog also has a few of the comments on some of the most dishonest men in uniform.
God bless us and God bless Goa too.
Please spread the message.
Thanks you.
Kind regards,
Ivo

  1. Can we please have the GRA A/C # displayed on the top if anyone wants to make a donation. I urge the respected Editor not to post any comment advertising any contribution made by any individuals. If anybody wants to check they can do so by writing to the GRA committee and asking them for their statment of account. We spend (waste) money on trivial things, please for once lets put our money where it will matter and pay us dividends. Come on people contribute the best you can and lets bring Goa to its former glory.

I am in the process of extending me support, but my relations in Goa are trying to contact some of the organizers without success. We do not want to miss the opportunity to save Goa from further destruction.

Yes people need genuine A/C no. to send money from around the world, but at the same time my advice to refrain from publishing on this blog of individuals contribution and that make more confusion in peoples mind and unwarranted comments. GRA need fund to move ahead. Dear Goans, never loose hope, we may or may not do well this time but definately our efforts should be for long term until GRA proves 2/3 majority in the Assembly.

  4. GRA members like Frankie and Adv. Yatish Naik, will be able to provide it.

My dear Goans pls come forward. One success with lead to many more. We should not repent later that we did not put our best foot forward when opportunity knocked at our doors.

  5. I have ordered my 20 trusted friends to attend the GRA meeting at Panjim with all my cost to support the genuine cause. The opportunity strike only once in life, if we miss this then only true Goans will be the losers. Young and old alike march in thousand to show your soladarity to GRA and clean up mess from Goa.

Vincent E. Do Rego, I am surprised by the way you comment here and on the herald of 9/3/2011 in the letters to the editor, you have this to say:

    Rally on 15 March
    Vicente E Do Rego, Dubai
Herald should take the initiative to make the People’s Rally on 15 March, a big success. Considering that GRA is a People’s revolution, Herald should support this cause by reaching out to all in every nook and corner of Goa. GRA is not an agent of Delhi unlike the Congress and BJP. We need to support a regional local party and this is the People’s Party.
Being the only pro-Goan newspaper, it is your duty to garner support and gather as many people as possible, to attend this historic rally. I am sure; your newspaper will never let Goa and its people down, in their struggle towards injustice to our Motherland Goa.

I cannot believe my eyes. Can you tell me based on your double standards, since when did Herald become a pro Goan newspaper or news site? HERALD IS THE WORST DIRTY NEWSPAPER WHICH IS TOTALLY PRO POLITICIANS AND FULLY IN THE POCKETS OF THE POLITICIANS

Why these double policies. Do not be fooled Herald in fact should be bycotted as it (Fernandes) will never disobey his masters the corrput politicians at whose feet he sits like a loyal dog.

It looks like you.................I do not know what to say about this!!!!!!!!!!! Mog assundi!

Mariano you are absolutely correct in stating Herald is a pro corrupt politician’s paper. It sickens me that some Goans are still supporting the sale of that paper. I would see flyers printed and distributed to every village. Yes we could do with the all the support we can gather firstly win over the crumb eaters and secondly kick the corrupt out of this earth.
