The video footage shown on Al Alanm, Al Jazeera and BBC T.V. channels on the situation in Bahrain are not independently confirmed and are all false as they have been edited to suit the wile intentions of the protesters and scare the loyal citizens. If it was a Peaceful demonstration as broadcasted by these channels, how come the protesters were attacking the police cars with stones and kicking a rundown policeman on his head.
They also had the audacity to destroy the University property like maniacs, boldly came in front of cameras with knives, swords and sticks challenging not only the Government but all those who dare come in the way of their evil intentions. They beat up poor Asian expats who had nothing to do with the Situation mercilessly and when brought to SMC Hospital for treatment bloodied and hands bound hit and kicked them when they were getting off the ambulance (All this on Bahrain TV footage). Instead of treating them of their injuries some of which were severe they were again beaten, abused and spat at by certain doctors and nurses (there is proof of it). Are not these expats Human Beings and don’t they have the same Human rights, that the protesters are demanding? They locked and also attempted to burn alive students in a room and outraged the modesty of the female students by removing their Abiyia at the University. Is this a peaceful demonstration or terrorism where these criminals with leaders sitting have held the country and it’s loyal citizens to ransom? Why don’t their leaders speak up on the National TV channel when invited and allow the National T.V. to film their Peaceful Demonstration instead of feeding the foreign media lies and edited footage. Amnesty International should have an independent investigation into these acts, declare them criminals and recommend these people be severely punished for these crimes. the International Criminal Court should also investigate those who are sitting in foreign Studios giving false information and instigating these criminals and have them prosecuted for treason. They are the same people who voted for the National Charter in it’s present form when it was put to vote. In the first place these protesters have no right to use the roundabout they call Pearl roundabout or Martyrs roundabout because the fact is, it is the GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC) roundabout. The Protesters had invaded the GCC roundabout and converted into a filthy DEN for saboteurs and criminals who were conspiring to destroy the Peace and Harmony in Bahrain and Bahrain itself. HRH King Hamad is a wise man for bringing in the Peninsular Shield and declaring Martial law at the propriet time and has rectified the mistake he made giving the opposition , the protesters and their sympathizers lee way which they abused, terrorized the citizens and residents and were damaging the economy of the country. Iran and those who condemn the presence of the Peninsular Shield in Bahrain to help maintain law and order as unacceptable and an invasion are accomplices to the fact. The GCC countries are bound by their treaty to assist their members in time of need especially when the Protesters invaded the GCC roundabout which is the symbol of the GCC Unity and are holding the country to ransom. Is not the European Union (EU) countries bailing out Portugal and Ireland in time of their financial crisis because they are members of the EU? Mrs Hillary Clinton I would advise you to keep your mouth shut (your statement on Al Jazeera footage in Egypt) as far as the situation in Bahrain is concerned. You speak with a forked tongue look at what you Americans have done to Vietnam, Iraq and Afganistan. Is it not enough that the Egyptians snubbed you in Egypt (quote Al Jazeera).Look at the internal affairs in your country POVERTY and UNEMPLOYMENT to start with . Remember what Abraham Lincoln said “It is true that you may fool all of the people some of the time;you can even fool some of the people all of the time;but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." Please practice what you preach. Bahrain is not Tunisia, Egypt Yemen or Libya. HRH King Hamad does not fall in the same category as Ben Ali, Hosni Mubarak or Gaddafi . The government sponsored in full the medical treatment of Mr Hussan Al Mushema ( The Ungrateful) in London who later instigated the illiterate youth to form the 14th Feburary Group (Demons) in the name of the youth of Bahrain to overthrow the government and HRH King Hamad but inspite of all this the government allowed him to come into the country and he along with the leaders of the seven opposition societies have stirred up a hornet’s nest that has gone beyond their control. These criminals should be barred from the Parliament and tried for treason. The GCC do not need the Americans or for that matter any other country’s advise in solving their problems. Why has the Human Rights Organisation or Amnesty International not denounce the actions of these Protesters but defended their actions; terrorizing the citizens and residents, attempting to destroy the economy of the country and attacking the Police with deadly weapons murdering a couple of them by running them down with a motor vehicle in the name of Peaceful Demonstrations. Amnesty International should see the footage of Bahrain TV which gave the true account of the situation and sack all those in the Bahrain Human Rights Organisation who are nothing but a bunch of crooks. Are the Police personnel in Bahrain not human beings too? They are only doing their duty maintaining law and order. They were rundown and kicked on the head whilst down.
Now coming to.Mr Salman Jaffar Al Mahfoodh (GFBTU) who was talking through his hat in his interview with Natasha David on the Bahrain Workers News letter . Does this man know the definition of Democracy ? What does he mean by quote "We want REAL DEMOCRACY that will benefit the whole population" .He has not truthfully answered the questions put to him by Natasha David but has not only put the onus on the civil society and the youth but instigated them to create this present condition. He is not fit to be the General Secretary of the General Federation of Bahraini Trade Unions as he does not know the job description nor does he do the job of a General Secretary. In answer to what are the key factors behind the outbreak of this sudden revolution he says “lack of political freedom, the constitution does not grant full rights of political association to parties “if so Why did he and 98.4% Bahrainis vote for the National charter in its present form and did not have this so called revolution then.
“Unacceptable levels of poverty and unemployment “(the man has not given figures because he knows comparatively to other democrative countries Bahrain is well off) He talks of economic losses but at the same time talks of strikes and supports the youth in destruction of property and preventing citizens from going to work and do their business. Does this not affect the economy of the country? He has also dragged in the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), Norway (LO), The United States (AFL-CIO), The Building Workers International (BWI) and The Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain (who don’t know head or tail of what is really happening in Bahrain only what they have been told by Al Mahfoodh, his cronies and the biased media) with lies and flattery. When asked why was the 14th February chosen specifically as the date for mobilization, the start of the revolution, organized notably by the young using facebook? His reply was quote “There was two reasons for this date, external and internal. Externally of course, the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt and the uprisings in other countries in the region were a powerful inspiration”. (Let me tell Mr Al Mahfoodh this so called revolution is not organized by the young using facebook but by people like him who have instigated people who do not know what they want and have messed up their lives for your selfish gains.) “ Internally the date is doubly symbolic. On 14th February 2001, the National Charter was ratified and 14th February 2002 was the date of the current Constitution rejected by the Opposition came into effect without consulting the people.” (Now why did he and 98.4% Bahrainis vote for the National charter in its present form and did not have this so called revolution then were the young he refers to still in their nappies then?).With regard to the question of working with the opposition parties his answer is confusing quote “We are part of the civil society coalition. We also work in coordination with the opposition group which is composed solely of the opposition parties individually, we are also present within the national alliance. We are involved on a daily basis in the discussions in all three bodies” Come on Mr Mahfoodh make up your mind you have to either be here or there you can’t be in two places at the same time.
His reply to the opposition’s demands today was “The government must resign. Forty years with the same Prime Minister we’ve had enough. We want reform and real democracy through constitutional reform and system of elected government. These are on the government’s table. The ball is in their court.” Here Mr Mahfoodh does not know head or tail of what he is asking. The time frame does not matter for the Prime Minister to be in office as long as there is development in the country. I would like to ask Mr Mahfoodh who is the WE he is referring to who has had enough when 98.4% of the citizens of Bahrain voted for and accepted the National Charter in its present form. Simple maths show that the population of Bahrain is 700000 of which 70% is Shias i.e. 490000 now 98.4% of the population voted in favour of the National Charter in it’s present form i.e. 688800 of which 210000 are Sunni (30% of the population) that means 478000 Shia voted for the National Charter in it’s present form. He must be dreaming because the ball is in his court Mr Mahfoodh in a democracy quotas are kept for minorities in every sphere but HRH King Hamad and the government have not done the same. HRH King Hamad called for a National Dialogue to solve the protesters and their leaders list of demands but instead of preparing the list they were preparing to wage war against the country.
I can finally conclude that this so called revolution is not for reforms or anything else it is only a conspiracy by some criminals to overthrow the Government, the Monarchy, divide the Bahrainis and destroy Bahrain with the aid of Iran which is a fact no one can deny. All the Protesters, Leaders and Sympathizers should not be given any posts in the decision making of Bahrain or any top positions rather they should be made to toil the land they were out to destroy. I hope they have learnt their lesson. And remember “Once bitten twice shy.” Long live Bahrain, HRH King Hamad, Loyal Bahrainis and the GCC.
Thanks for the very well researched article. HM King Hamad (not HRH) has provided everything to these terrorists, but still they chose to bite the hand that feeds them. While they were having a good time at the roundabout, we were having restless nights wondering how we'll get to work next morning. They talk about human rights in their interviews, but did they even care about the basic rights of the rest of bahrain? "We Are Bahrain @ facebook" may provide a clearer picture of the terrorists who disguse themselves as pro democracy activists.
ReplyDeleteGreat article Roque. You have highlighted many important points and attempted to explain the situation from your point of view. I am not sure if you live in Bahrain or not but I would concur with many of the points you made. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAs you may know, many of us have been writing to various institutions like Amsnesty International, Human Rights, European Union, US Congress and others trying to put our views across to provide a wholestic account of what has been happening since February 14th. But to our astonishment we go very little understanding or support from all of the above. This action by these "reputable" organizations has the following meanings:
1. either they consider the majority of Bahrainis liers and actors and fabricators of dramatic events. This is both shias and sunnis.
2. or they are simply brain washed by a small group (The Rajabs, The Khawajas, The Shehabi, etc) brain washed so clean that they dont see or hear anybody else.
Frankly, at this stage I personally could'nt care less about their support or understanding. In fact many of us have lost every trust and confience in them as people and in their institutes and it will require them to work very hard before they can get out trust or confidence back. What is important to me and to all the Bahrainis at this stage is to have the dialogue and move on.
We do not want personal or political gains on account of destroying our country.
we do not support personal vendata on accounts of gross misdemeanor by few mislead and misinformed people
Everyone who has a Bahraini Nationality is respected as a full citizen.
We are all responsible for making the dialgue successful and getting Bahrain back on the track of building and development.
This conspiracy was planned during the era of J.W. Bush when Condalizza Rice hinted to the new Middle East, the leaders of those criminals were trained by the US in the USA with the collaboration of the USA embassy in Bahrain. They were trained in how to fabricate photos and lie to the media and also how to address the international bodies. The Bahrain Government has proofs of this in addition to wikileaks documents. The criminals were trained by the Lebanese Hizbullah in Gorilla warfare.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest lie of all is the 75% figure of the shities population of Bahrain, there is no official census of any kind that backs up this claim simply because the Bahrain Government does not use such segregation when conducting its populous. The last official figure was conducted by the United Nations in the 70's came up with 20% of the population were shities ! At present date the division is 48% Shities and 52% sunnies these figures were derived at, although unofficially, from the votes during the 2010 elections.
