GOA POLICE STONE PELTED BY A FRENCH SAILOR

PANJIM: A French sailor Connery Emile was arrested by Calangute police Monday evening for pelting stones at a police party after an altercation in a bar at Baga, Calangute.
Trouble started when he was stopped at the entrance of Kamakshi Bar-n-Restaurant at 5pm by its security personnel on grounds of unruly behaviour.
Not wanting to be silenced, the 29-year-old sailor entered into an argument with the personnel. Sensing trouble, the bar owner called out to a police party patrolling in the area. On seeing the police personnel approaching the bar, the sailor pelted stones at them. No one was injured. Emile was arrested and sent to Calangute police station.

  1. Beware you sailor boy you might find yourself dead and dumped on the beach with your pockets empty.

  2. Frenchie is right. He identified the police as street dogs. Today, nobody pelts stones even at dogs but the Gua Pulis deserve such treatment. Sorry Frenchie, we know that these thugs in uniform will skin you off.

  3. Where is Nagesh Karmali? The Portuguese sailors never did such a thing during their visit to Goa.
The French too had their colonies even after India became independence. Go to Pondicherry and Mahe and the politicians there swear by the French.
I think the Goa policeman wanted to steal a "French Kiss" and "Capote Anglaise" from the French sailor.
No wonder the French sailor got wild with him.
