THIEVES BEATEN UP BY VILLAGERS OF MORJIM

MANDREM: Four youth were beaten up by Morjim villagers on Tuesday night, after they were caught red-handed stealing from the house of Rama Dattaram Shetgaokar at New-waddo. Morjim.
Pernem police said Porvorim-residents Sagar Kerkar and Praveen Ajgaokar and Morjim locals Bhushan Kudalkar and Kedar Kudalkar allegedly entered the house late Tuesday night. On hearing the occupants shout for help, neighbours caught the four and soundly thrashed them before handing them over to the police. Kerkar and Ajgaokar, who were injured, were admitted to GMC.  This is the third theft at Morjim registered with Pernem police in the week.
