GERMAN RAPE TRIAL OF ROHIT MONSERRATE: DIFFICULTY IN GETTING STATEMENT ON LINE

PANJIM: The children's court recently expressed practical difficulties involved in recording the testimony of witnesses in Germany through video-conferencing over an LCD monitor installed in court room during the rape trial against education minister Atanasio 'Babush' Monserrate's son Rohit.
Dismissing a prosecution plea to once again summon German witnesses to the Indian Embassy in Berlin to secure their deposition through video-conferencing, the court remarked that the police had not made further progress in the case besides providing the IP address of the embassy. The court also highlighted difficulties that arise while recording testimony through video-conferencing.
Children's court president B P Deshpande observed, "There is no facility of recording the video- conferencing in the hard disk which would be primary evidence of such video-conferencing."While an LCD monitor has been installed in the courtroom with a net connection and a web camera for videoconferencing, there is no material placed on record to show how the signature of the witnesses proposed to be examined through video-conferencing could be obtained on depositions, the judge said.
On efforts made by the police to secure the testimony of the witnesses through video-conferencing, the court said police have not produced any letter which shows that the Indian embassy in Berlin is ready to provide necessary permission to the witnesses to record the deposition through this means.

The Goa Police have difficulty in everything to do with Investigations and court cases.
They have failed to get any statements from Lucky Farmhouse.
Video Conferencing is not a difficult technology.
India produces highly qualified IT experts.
Broadband is now available in Goa.IT services are being made available, in all administrative offices in Goa.
Many Indan businessmen have Video Conferencing links with their business counterparts around the world.
Perhaps Goa Politicians and Police have not yet heard about "SKYPE" v.o.i.p (voice over internet protocol).
Why have the Goa Police not produced the letter to the Indian Mission?...to protect Rohit and his goonda father and mother( for a fee)....maybe they do not have a fax machine or email facilities.
What the Goa PoLice do have in their armoury, is Lourdina,Satish and Georgina, to monitor Niz Goenkar.
Goa Police do not waste your time conducting a survelliance on NG.And tell that Boss of Yours Ravi Naik, we are not afraid of his rants and threats and NG are extremely happy that we are gradually hurting his corruptness.

  2. I doubt the authorities have the will to bring the accused (Ministers Son)to justice. If there is a will with modern technology anything is possible. "Money talks and Bull Shit Walks"

  3. Yes N Fernandes, they are all playing games with us. They will be no justice in this case. The case is so old, the girl has moved on, as she needed to, to overcome the trauma that happened to her. I hope history will record that this politician produced a rapist son! I say this because the man is uneducated and has no moral background. They were too greedy trying to fill their coffers and gain ‘POWER’. I hope our Christian voters will reflect within themselves and not pick people that immoral as required by their faith, as they should know better!

  4. You’re right Mr. N fernandes. Goa police IT dept is rather primitive when it comes to providing IT assistance for the court, but they do their best to monitor Niz Goenkars pulse.

  6. Niz Goenkar can never be touched by the Gua Pulis as it is out of their thinking power to reah NG. They get only pixxed off due to the exposure by every writer and commentator alike. The readers spread the word about NG. NG is a popular word everywhere.

Rohit Monserrate : A shame for India

The case against Rohit Monserrate (Son of Babush Monserratte's, the education minister of Goa) for raping a minor and the sequence of events have portrayed India as country where justice is hard to find, especially if you are pit against abuse by the rich and mighty. This is what the German mother had to say.

“Since the day I filed the complaint on 14th October, life has become living hell for both me and my daughter. There are allegations and counter allegations in the media and we have now realised that we have been trapped in a situation not in our interests. We are also scared of being ‘Scarlet II’,”
“We are spending sleepless nights and we are in depression and shock and we are scared of the consequences of proceeding with the complaint. The murderous assault on our lawyer continues to play on our minds. We have learnt the bitter truth that making genuine complaints against the rich and mighty is entirely counter productive. We are constantly hounded, our names sullied, campaigns organised against us and all sorts of motives attributed to us.”

Well, if this is the state of Law and order in India and the abuse of position continues by the all powerful politicians, we need justice and we need to speak up. Rohit should be given life sentence, without any chance for bail. The current status makes me feel pity and helpless and I feel that if unfortunately, I had been in a war against a politicians, I would have been deserted by my country. Lets see what happens now as the Goa police have decided not to drop charges against Rohit Monserrate. May the father and son suffer in pain million times more than suffered by the German minor and her mother and rot in the HALL OF SHAME.

The mother of the 14-year-old German girl, who has been allegedly raped in Goa, has accused the kin of another powerful state politician, Public Works Department minister Churchill Alemao.

In a startling disclosure on Thursday, the counsel for the German family, Aires Rodrigues, claimed related stories

    Look-out notice against accused
at a press conference at a city hotel that the minister’s nephew, 22-year-old Warren Alemao, had also sexually assaulted her minor girl.

Rodrigues in his press conference also informed that the Goa police had scanned the victim’s email-box, and were tracking emails which she had sent and received from the main accused Rohit Monserrate.Rodrigues also informed that he had already intimated the police about Warren, along with his photograph in a compromising position with the victim, which was put up on his Facebook profile.

Already, Rohit, son of education minister Atanasio Monserrate, is an accused in the case, which has created quite a few ripples ever since it was formally registered on October 14 –12 days after the incident.

The latest round of allegation comes as a blow to minister Alemao, who has so far been vocal against the police, claiming that Rohit Monserrate had been “unnecessarily victimised”.

Acting on Home Minister Ravi Naik’s directions, the police are already probing whether Churchill Alemao had given shelter to Rohit.

But Alemao claimed that he had not seen Rohit for the last four months.

Alemao got into a war of words recently with Rodrigues also, describing him as an “individual activist who worked for his own gains”.

Rodrigues in his press conference also informed that the Goa police had scanned the victim’s email-box, and were tracking emails which she had sent and received from the main accused Rohit Monserrate.

Meanwhile, apart from Rohit Monserrate and Warren Alemao, Roy Naik, the son of Home Minister Rave Naik has also been named by the British media linking him to the murders of two UK nationals namely Scarlette Keeling and Stephen Bennett.
