PEOPLE DISPLACED BY NH PROJECT ARE PROMISED LAND BY CHURCHILL

MARGAO: Stating that those, whose houses would be demolished due to the expansion of NH17 and NH4A, would be given land and their construction financed, the PWD Minister, Mr Churchill Alemao, asked the Goans to support the slated construction of these highways.
“The construction will start soon. And we need these highways because of the increasing number of vehicles, accidents and to meet the needs of future generation,” said Mr Alemao while speaking as the chief guest at the 62nd anniversary of the Republic Day at Open Sports Complex of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda.
Stating that the government had managed to save most of the houses, buildings and religious structures, the PWD Minister said that the priority will be accorded for the construction of bridges across Zuari, Talpona and Galjibag rivers.
He also said that the government has launched ‘Chaka Chak Goa’ campaign from Wednesday to solve the garbage problem.  “We need your support for the effective implementation of this campaign to keep Goa clean and beautiful,” he said adding that he felt that Goa has made spectacular progress in almost all sectors since last 61 years.
The Minister recalled the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and martyrs made to Liberate Goa and said that that steps have already been initiated by the government to provide jobs to the children of the freedom fighters.
The PWD Minister further said that “the steps have been taken to provide better health care facilities to the people of Goa with the 750 bedded super specialty hospital, which is under construction at Margao. Once completed it will be equipped with all the facilities and people need not have to go to other states to get treatment for complicated diseases.”
Around 1000 students drawn from schools of South Goa presented patriotic songs, cultural programmes and march past.  Some officials were felicitated for their meritorious and commendable services. Prizes were distributed to the winners of march past and cultural programmes, sponsored by Samrat Club of Margao.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Mr Reginald Lourence, MLA, Mr Damodar Naik, MLA, Ms Sushila Naik, chairperson of Margao Municipal council, ZP chief, Ms Maria Rebello, councillors, and freedom fighters.

  1. Now this barrao Churchill Alemao calls Goans opposing all these anti-people projects that he and his Government have up their sleeves "rotten mangoes". Last year he said that Goan opposing his housing projects "squealing pigs".

The CM Digambar Kamat claimed he didn't depend on our Goan votes!

We Goans take all these insults in our face and allow these traitors to continue to loot from Goa and Goans.

  2. There are too many false promises made to the Goan citizens made by our ministers. But they do keep promises to fill their own pockets.
Keeping Goa clean will never take place under the current regime, unless we wipe out all the Ghanti Nagars.
Considering the state that we Goanns are in With Crime and corruption on the rise most of it endorsed by our Politicians, Why should the so called freedom fighters get special privileges? What are we free from?
The same person deceived the Goans by saying he opposed the Mopa Airport. These corrupt ministers have ruined Goa for their own Good.

  3. Well done Chorchill. You are a kind man. Destroy their homes and give them place in Raheja project in Orlim. Your house is closer from there, they don't have to cook, ask Valanka to cook and feed them. Chorchill, the biggest Dukor of the dirty trench, would you like to demolish you house for bagful of silver coins? And the other dukor who cheated Curtorim-kars is Reginaldo Lourenco who showed a clean face and is another dukor today.

    Now the Math.
If 800,000 Goans world wide will donate around 2500 INR or more you should have your 200 Crores in no time.
I know of people like me, who could also contribute around or more say 2000 Dollars / Euro / Pounds / SFR to compensate for people who can't pay. (Here we only need 20,000 Goans to get to your Goal of 200 crores)
What NG should do register the party (I know you NG are working on it), open an Account Nr. show transparency, (as there are no short of stupid Goans in and around Goa) and let the Ball roll in the field.
I don't know of a single G O A N who is not fed up of the Indian rule, Ghattis in and around us, corruption by the government through the police, Navy trying to rob us in broad day light, as if we are stupid and ignorant. Politicians robbing Communidades Land, Rice Fields filled up with rubbles for future buildings plans, Konkan Railway bringing in more Ghattis, Nagar popping up in every village. Dirty stinking Public toilets, Businesses run by Guajarati's and Marwadis, no access to our own beaches like for e.g "Cidade de Goa" place sold by somnath Zuarkar???. Road side Gutters filled with stagnated water which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes and rubish. Politicians making the Government a family Business, every Nagar a vote Bank. The Hindi language which is killing our Konkani Language, our old Document in Portuguese language given no respect and treated like dirt. Our old Portuguese cultural Buildings used as Governors residence. Our historical building used as Government offices, Military headquarters, Court houses and you name it. Destroying more than 100 + years old Trees in the name of Road and Cricket Grounds. Gandhi Statue in Old Goa, as if he is competing with St. Francis Xavier our Patron Saint of Goa, (this ground is holy to us) Gandhi did not make Goa, his people invaded and destroyed GOA.
Independence has it's price, we have to sacrifice our money (which is nothing) our time and life (which is precious) BEBDO and NG are not asking of us what is precious but asking us of us which is nothing (peanuts) MONEY.
It's high time the Invaders are sent back, where they came from.
So let's contribute and show our solidarity to our beloved Motherland G O A, only NG can put a strong case at the UNO.
    Mog Assundi

Goa is on the brink of going the way of Tunisia due to the corruption and greed of the Churchill Alemaos, Digambar Kamat, Mauvin Godinho, Monserrate, Ranes and the rest of their rotten sonsodd!

In 50 years time you'll have destroyed our beautiful Goa.
