MARGAO: A day after he was described as the root cause of corruption in the state, PWD Minister Churchill Alemao on Monday demanded to know from the BJP since when he became a corrupt man saying the same leaders were singing praises of him in the last Assembly.
Using the platform of a Self Help Group Haldi Kukum function near the Maruti Temple at Rumdamol village, Alemao demanded to know from MLA Damu Naik whether he did not find him corrupt while taking lakhs of money as donation from him for his film Jaagor.
“I find it difficult to understand that the same Damu who spoke well of me in the Assembly and is now painting me a corrupt man. He took money from me for his film Jaagor. Did he not realize at that time that the money he was taking was from corruption?” Alemao said and demanded that Damu should tell how he produced the film with a budget worth lakhs of rupees.
The PWD minister came down heavily on the Fatorda MLA for criticizing him for distributing rice, dal and oil from corruption money. “Who is Damu to tell me not to give these items to the poor and the down trodden. I have been doing this throughout my life as my conscience tells me to help the people in need. I don’t find anything wrong in my gesture,” he asserted.
Saying that the Fatorda MLA has tabled a question in the Legislative Assembly on the distribution of water tanks, Alemao said he has an answer to the question, but demanded to know from the BJP what they had done during their tenure to solve the water problems facing the people.
Referring to the criticism that Navelim has not witnessed any development in the constituency in the last three and half years, Alemao said, “It is for the people to see and judge whether development has taken place or not in the constituency during my tenure. Besides the bridges, I tried to strengthen sanitation and water supply to the constituents. The development is there for everyone to see,” Alemao told the gathering and appealed to the people not to get misguided by false propaganda from the opposition.
“I don’t care for the leaders. I only fear God and the people. Only the people can decide whether I should continue to serve them or sit at home,” he added. (HD)
If Churchill thinks he is not corrupt then he should look into the mirror. Churchill is the biggest corrupt politicians.

ReplyDeleteChorchill actually admits that he is corrupt and collects corrupt money!!!...i.e. His words ="Did he know it was corrupt money?". This is incredible! What a dirty system in India. The PM of India needs to answer to this! He came into power saying he is going to weed out corruption...he has done nothing...he is useless! This illiterate Chorchill knows how to buy votes handing out oil, dal and rice.....these people are thieves of Goa, they know how the dirty system to get them elected works in India. We have to reach the people who votes he is buying....and it may take money to buy their votes in order to turn things around in Goa. The people have become 'dependants', like 'children' in Goa……I also do not support the BJP, their record has not been good, they say they have changed but they still have elements of their past…so they have not changed. We need new leadership in Goa.

His family are now following suit as they have to meet or better their fathers expectations.
It seems like Valanka has already started this money making game.Her siblings will follow later, I am sure.It is called "sibling rivalry".
Instead of being "MILKED" Valanka will do the MILKING of Goans & GOA.
She is just following her fathers example.
While MGP were in power my Father and his six brothers survived by goondaism my father pinched comidade land in Mungul and built a hut then extended it to a house.

As long as we have the same people in power my family will enjoy cheating and looting. We will keep supporting who never comes to power so we can keep our ill gotten wealth. Long live the corrupt and our God Churchill in Power we can finish Goa.

As far as Valanka is concerned,she may be respected by a few around her(CRUMBEATERS) and "HANGER-ONS)...but the majority of Goans elsewhere and all over the rest of Goa see her as an "UGLY DOLL" of her father Churchill`s. making.
Today in Egypt,Tunisis and elswhere in the Middle East and Arab World, all tyrants that try to get their children into power and to succeed them, are being sent packing to another Country to live the rest of their useless lives.
The best place Goans can send Churchill and his family is "HELL".
