On Monday, Febraury 28, 2011, I happened to borrow a copy of Khaleeej Times from by my colleague in office. And, I was astonished to read a full page advertisement in the classifieds section, of a tiatr "Daddy...Hi Tuji Sun" by "Comedian Sally" on 3rd March 2011 at Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai, and with PWD Minister as the Chief Guest.
In my 12 years in Dubai, I have seen that rival camps have emerged among Goans, those that organise Tiatr, Dances and even football tournaments in Dubai. Two of Salcete’s Political Galacticos are always specially flown from Goa to be the Chief Guest for these functions.
A chief guest should be a man of good repute and respect, whom people look to him as a role model. It has become a fashion among Goans today to invite politicians to raise the toast for weddings, parties, house warmings etc. It is very disappointing indeed to see politicians invited to preside over Tiatrs and other functions in Dubai. Our corrupt politicians turn a blind eye to the Aam Admi’s problems, which has lead to the sorry state of affairs in Goa today. And yet, they are being revered and pampered by their followers.
It is time Goans in Dubai, boycott each and every function organized where politicians have been invited as Chief Guests. Let us show our solidarity for our motherland.

Nobody will take the pig of varca as chief guest by their own will , it is varca pig who insists people to take him. When the pig of varca gives them donations people doesnt like to do favour for him.

Very shameful, disgraceful and despicable behavior on the part of these so called Dubai Goans...I would ask they go to confession to conves their dirty sins!!!....I don't understand it, is it because we have people that are either illiterate or stupid and maybe both. These people kissing the feet of the biggest Raj of Goa.....So many Goans in Goa write that overseas Goans are traitors of Goa....and I took offence. Now I see it does have some truth....when you have over 1000 Donkey-Monkey Dubai Goans that show up to welcome Chorchill....this is unbelievable? What is wrong with us people?? Are these people real Goans....or traitor-Goans working for the destruction of Goa???? I wish I had the chance to see the faces of these people and debate them hopefully trying to understand while trying to be cool...as it is possible these people lack education and the ability to reason. I wish someone would print the names of these people for everyone to see, so that we also get to see our enemies and traitors are. We need to distant ourselves from these people, ostracize them. We need to educate them or we will not win this war to overthrow the current corrupt regime. I believe these thousand people of Dubai should enroll in classes on the destruction of their homeland and that they need to wake up from their selfish dreams and start to save our Goa and not be a sell-out. Please ask yourself: Are you going to be a traitor of Goa of a lover of Goa? We need to let them know that the Egyptians have woken up, it is our turn!
ReplyDeleteIt is easy for our Overseas Goans to bring in their political masters and feast with them, shower them with costly gifts. It is like a reward for them to destroy Goa and further assurance to do it more. With this type of treatment meted out to them, they even feel powerful to do more sinister acts to fatten their overseas accounts. It is also a very good opportunity for our Goans to watch the entertainment of homeland but why the Cheap Guests?

ReplyDeleteI bet these Dubai Goans are uneducated, employed in very menial tasks / jobs , lowly paid,bad mannered,of low etiquette & ethics,Goan vilage clowns & idiots of the first order,,crumbeaters & arse lickers...however, as soon as they arrive in Dubai the develop a "BIG ATTITUDE ".A 3 hour flight to Dubai and their EGOS swell up, like a pus filled cyst.
I recollect a Goan boy who was employed to wash cars in Dubai, who returned to Goa, Gold dangling from all parts of his body ,that wanted to display like a Peacock that he was now a SHEIKH or Arab Prince.Least did he realise he was the butt of jokes in the village and viewed more as a FAKE.Apparentlt today he is no more displaying all his Dubai attitude and being unemployed in Goa and to a degree homeless and peniless, has become a "NOBODY".His new friend is a bottle of Feni.His new past time is being a vagabond.His clothes are all tattered.
Churchill no longer even gives him a glance .
Please send us the names of the Organisers and as much detail as you know. or the link to the Tiatr advert and we will deal with probing these Dubai clowns.They need a bit of education and a lesson in morals.To worship the looter Churchill in this way to the detriment of other Goans seeking a just and equitable society is plain immoral.Immorals must be exposed.

ReplyDeleteDear N Fernandes, please do not jump to conclusions, it is not the uneducated but the people who are well educated and well off too, unfortunately ethics and etiquette mean nothing to them, being in the book of favours of the big king momo, means everything to them because they too must be having skeletons in their own cupboards waiting to fall out. What better ways to hide ones illegalities than being in king momo’s book of favour, but what they fail to realise is the fall is imminent and what a fall it will be !!

The Boss comes for a Tiatr with more suitcases than the "Permissible level".
