  1. These high profile persons arriving in Goa not on official visit but pleasure are receiving protection from Goan tax payers money. Yet the president is blind and deaf to critics the corrupt state of affairs in Goa. We have another turban man the Governor too can't see or is part of the evil that takes place in Goa, another turban man the prime minister's party is responsible for destroying Goa through Goa's Corrupt MLAs. Honest Goans should have protested against her visit.

  2. We should not welcome but reject such people with black flags. The president of India as far as I know is only a constitutional head and does not wield much powers without the advise of the PM.
So is Mrs. President here to provide SPECIAL STATUS privilege to native Goans or is she on a frolicking tour at the cost of the native Goan taxpayers? Goans deserve an explanation of this visit at the cost of Goans for her upkeep. Goans don’t need people who are not interested in our welfare and well being.

Native Goans please join me with as many comments you can contribute. Let us all combine and them and (post) send them to the rubber stamps so that we send out our message clearly that we cannot be taken for a ride and we are serious about our Goan demands. Please post as many comments as you can so that our voices are heard. Let this be a humiliating embarrassment for the people who take us Goans for granted so that they know no matter who positions they hold, Goa need Goans to progress.

Goans need a detailed account of this expenditure of the visit of the "Mrs. President" and her grandchildren and it is our right to know.

  5. The huge postiing of Gua Pulis around Panjim and Margao today was evidence that the rubber Stamp was well guarded. Otherwise, the Gua Pulis is always running short of police personnels to man law and order in Goa.

  6. It seems a coincidence that Gold is discovered and the President chooses to visit our small state. This Gold is going to destroy OUR Goa, as all the Dehliwallas and Bombaywallas are all coming to Goa to grab it. We need special status now, or we loose forever. Please see this as an omen. If we wait any longer we will never get it.

  8. If East Timor got its Independence so should have Goa. So lets think on those lines, and not argue about the colour of shit and the wearing of Turbans. Being a non-praticing catholic of Goan origin I have met numerous Hindus Moslems Buddists and people of various other religions, one thing that impressed me was the hospitality and tolerance towards each other.

As for the Hon. Mrs President of India. Does no one advise her on the attire she wears ? The indian national dress ? Yes offcourse, but with style to honour the position she carries. Five Star hotels have elegantly dresed ladies in Saris in their front office. Was there any need for her to sit on a deckchair by the seaside ?
What were her PR people doing. Had it not been for the caption, one would think that she was one of the beach vendors taking a break.
Having said that letus respect and be tolerant towards one another.
It is said that when fish rots it begins from the head. As fisheaters we Goans should know that.
So lets smell the heads of " GORMENT " first.
Then the GUA PULIS and all others will fall into place.
Free Goa yes... but for all
